He did a good job but there were communication issues with the scheduled appointments.

In the process of a remodel, the inspectors told us that we had to upgrade our electrical to 200 Amp service. The contractors doing the electrical on the other part of the house could not do the upgrade, so I called Jack (who we used several years prior). His team was very knowledgeable and worked quickly. They also left the house clean and did it a reasonable cost. We will be using him for future projects.

Blazer was the third electrician that I had called since July to help me with my electrical in the attic. I purchased a flipped home a few years ago and was warned that they had spliced old electric to new in the attic. I hired a contractor to re-insulate the attic who again warned me that the electrical really needed to be tied up before we covered it up. While other electricians had quoted me at around $2,500 and wouldn't commit to the project, Jack answered my Angie's list message immediately. With the photos he was able to give me a pretty good estimate of the work, around $600-$900. After this call Jack came the following Monday with a crew of three. They pulled out about 10 spliced circuits (Knob-and-tube) and replaced it with to-code BX. Jack also asked if I wanted an outlet and a light for the attic to make working on the insulation easier. After arriving at 7am they were done by 10:30am. It was so fast that I'm hiring Jack again to install some new ceiling fans, kitchen accent lighting and a security light. He's definitely my go-to electrician going forward.

Jack and his crew showed up promptly and began work without delay. They covered all work areas with tarps and plastic to keep the areas as clean as possible. Our crew was very professional and friendly. We will use Blazer Electric again for future projects.

Jack did a great job, he arrived on time and got the work done quickly. I would definitely use him again as he was very reasonably priced.

The problem was identified in short order and he found a solution that did not require going back to COM ED. He rerouted circuits from public meter (which had been disconnected) to another panel. He is efficient and knows his business. I would use him again and highly recommend him.

Spoke to Jack about installing an additional outlet in our kitchen. He was busy and said he would call back in about an hour. He never called back.

Jack was terrific. He kept me advised of when he was going to arrive, was very professional and accommodating. A few challenges were encountered along the way, but he worked hard to identify solutions. The work also took longer than expected and, despite that fact, he did not seem to rush to complete the work. In fact, he helped me with a couple of other small tasks. There was quite a bit of dust after the work was completed but it was not difficult to clean it up. The cost was very fair and reasonable.

4 of our electrical outlets in the kitchen were broken. Blazer Electric came and fixed them in less then 30 minutes. I highly recommend them. They are are quick, punctual, and very professional! They also communicate via text which was very convenient! I will definitely use them again in the future.

Jack was always responsive by phone or text, from first contact to final connection. He did professional work and cleaned up after himself. He, or his assistants, came when they said they would come. His prices are fair, I think, although I didn't shop around much. He is someone I felt I could trust immediately. What more could you ask for? I'm looking forward to having Jack back again to do more electrical projects for us in the near future.

Jack is great. We have had Blazer Electric complete three separate projects over the last couple years all to our satisfaction. Jack and his team have added can lights to our living room, installed all electric and lighting in our basement when we had it finished and added can lights to our daughters bedroom. We purchased a 1963 home that has never had updates. We plan to continue using Blazer electric in the future. Jack is professional, fair and honest. We strongly recommend Blazer Electric.

Fantastic. Timely, nice, informed and extremely professional. He cleaned up after himself after installation, provided guidance on future projects and we would absolutely hire him for any future electric work.

I called Jack late Wednesday afternoon. He said he would be out that evening. He came about 7:00 PM. He knew the problem right away. He did not have the part on his truck, but he did put on a switch for the fan and connected the lights to the other lights in our room. He said he would be back on Friday between 5 and 6 PM. He came back Friday as he stated and replaced the switch with one for both the fan and lights. Jack was polite and friendly and explained what he was doing. I also asked about some future work and he gave me some input. I will use Jack again in the spring for our other work.

It was good. We used them, they came out on time and did their work. There wasn't anything that I disliked and they didn't try to sell me anything else. They came out maybe 2 months after we scheduled with them and I didn't spend anything extra.

Jack was awesome. Super responsive, polite, easy going, and honest. Was able to set up a schedule with Jack afterfiguring out out each others' schedule. Finished what was needed in a day and everything went well. I am glad to have found him through Angie's List and now I have a go to electrician for all my future needs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. Highly recommended!

Easy to make an appointment. Got right back to me. Easy to schedule. Very professional while here, worked quietly and I trusted the work they were doing. Spent time asking me at what height I preferred different fixtures and helped me make decisions based on his experience. I strongly recommend them and was very happy with everything. 1. December 2013 - contacted Jack at Blazer because during a home purchase we needed an electrician to conduct an inspection. Jack was professional and thorough, focusing on where the home we intended to buy needed work to remedy potential safety issues and code violations. And his estimated (and actual) costs for the service was competitive than other a-rated providers in our area, and his recommendations led to legitimate concessions on the part of the seller. what i particularly appreciated was where Jack pointed out that the seller --in certain cases--had done some high quality electrical updates already. Point being, there was no attempt to 'sandbag' the inspection in an effort to get future business. We liked Jack so upon completion of the home purchase we brought him back to do the actual work. 2. Feb 2014 - Jack and his team completed all the code violation fixes identified in the inspection, which included rewiring of certain fixtures, adding GFI outlets in the kitchen, bathrooms, garage and outdoors, proper grounding of the electrical panel , upgrading the electrical panel, and upgrading the external connection (from the power lines to the house). in addition , they installed 7 canned lights in our livingroom and updated switches and outlets throughout the house. 3. Dec 2014 - upon hearing about the issues with 3 of the canned lights dropping as well as the outlet, Jack came out quickly and fixed both. Honestly was not expecting the outlet fix to be free of charge given that the issue was damage by a 3rd party. Couldn't be more pleased with the work.

I contacted Blazer Electric on Monday (12/8) to schedule a service call for a potentially dangerous situation with the electrical at my house. Jack scheduled a visit for the next day (12/9). As I couldn't be there he interfaced with my tenant. He was a little later than his estimated arrival window but did call 15 minutes before he arrived. He quickly assessed the problem at the circuit breaker, one that if went unaddressed could have resulted in an electrical fire, and made the repairs on the spot. Additionally he tested some faulty outlets throughout the house to determine the problems and provided a cost estimate to address those issues in the future.

It went great! They (3 guys) were here promptly at 7 and left just over 2 hours later. They had to make whole in the exterior brick wall. They cleaned everything. Very happy with their work. We found them on Angie's list based on the reviews and we are glad we did.

We were very happy with the work performed by Blazer Electric. The electrician arrived right on time and immediately began the work. Our existing electrical panel was the original and we were worried about the safety of it. Since the original panel was a lot smaller than the new panel, extensive work had to be done with the wall in order to attach the new panel. The electrician was able to complete this work within the day and our power was back as promised. Blazer Electric also did a great job cleaning up the area prior to leaving. We would definitely use them again for any electrical needs in the future.
