+ -1 moreTerry and his workers and the sub-contractors he hired all did a great job of replacing our shower surround and doing some light tile repair work. Everyone was top notch, and he followed up to make sure the work was done right. I would highly recommend him to anyone and would gladly hire him again.
Description of Work: Terry helped do some light upgrading and repair work to our house.

+ -1 moreHe was up front and knows what you need. He had a punch list and came back and did it. I have nothing bad to say about him. It was a good experience in dealing with the owner himself. He had one of his workers before anything got started. He got back to you in a timely fashion. The way he presented himself I felt good about that.
Description of Work: I used Kern Construction And Remodeling LLC for several projects; windows, doors, garage trim and gutters.

+ 1 moreKern Construction came on-site to review the work and provide a bid. All the product was picked up and delivered and installation occured over 4-5 days. Terry Kern's crew were fantastic in laying the pattern, installing the new shower and fixtures, and cleaning the area each evening. Terry came back out the day it was completed to inspect the workmanship, and advised to call him if any cracks in the grout were to occur and they would repair immediately. With winter coming and the shower being on an 'outside' wall there is the possibility of some cracking but unlikely. Excellent workmanship and a great experience.
Description of Work: Terry Kern arrived on-site to review the job prior to starting provided a quote to install a new tiled shower and floor tiles. The work was estimated as 4-5 days and completed on-time with excellent workmanship. His crew were on time every day, cleaned up everynight, and gave very helpful tips for style to make our bathroom show-room beautiful. I would highly recommend Terry Kern and his company.

Description of Work: Terry first worked for us about 2 hot summers ago when he, his son Travis and a guy named Gary pulled out old disgusting linoleum and '50's look carpeting and re-tiled our downstairs. At that time he also pulled out old yerky upstairs bathroom carpeting and put in new tile, radiant heating coils, and painted the bathroom. As a later part of that project he removed old cabinets and installed new ones. Along the way, because he's a great guy, he replaced aging door handles for me and put in a new toilet that I decided to do on a whim. This year we had a lot of projects going and of course we called Terry. We can rely on him to do a job on time and with an amazing calmness. He also speaks homeowner language as opposed to contractor language. There's never a mess left behind. Never does a call go unanswered. The people he brings in for various projects are as professional and courteous as he is. He installed wooden floors throughout our 50+ year old house. Installed kitchen and bathroom (another one) tile and radiant heating,Tiled two entry ways and an atrium, came out on a Saturday and shingled a section of the roof that had caused decades of leaks for the previous homeowners and then for us (hasn't leaked since), tore out and re-poured aggregate walkway and sidewalk, installed kitchen cabinets, tackled various electric projects attached to these jobs, and tackled a downspout problem that had gone on for years and seemingly has resolved it. If the paint got scratched, Terry repainted it. If a toilet leaked, Terry was there in a flash to see what was wrong. He also regrouted a tile from the 2 years ago job..........how kind is that!?
