Coming from out of town, he helped us learn about the area, including schools and neighborhoods. After identifying the neighborhood we wanted, he made sure we saw everything available, even calling us about new listings that we might be interested in. We were making trips in from out of town, so it was important that our time be well spent. Rod always made sure to listen to what we said, even scrambling to find more listings one day when were considering looking at a different area. Finally we found a house we loved, and Rod helped all the way though the process of getting mortgage (his referral for a mortgage person was great) in this tough market to appraisal and everything else. We had some snags with scheduling/getting the appraisal in time, and Rod always did everything he could to help the process, which was important since we were out of town. He did a great job in all and we highly recommend him!
