Excellent. Had the issue resolved very quickly. The young man was very nice and professional. Now my tub and shower have great water pressure. Couldn't be happier!

very well. He replaced an old shower stall in my basement with a new one. He replaced the rotten wood holding it with new platform. Did a nice job. Cleaned up and removed the old.

They do good work.

My husband contacted them in the morning and they said they would be out in the late afternoon. They came at 1:30, much earlier than we expected which was good. They used the side door to the basement instead of tracking in dirt throughout the house. Two men came to work and it was a two man job. On the receipt, one man was listed as the mechanic @ $80/hour. The other man was listed as the helper @ $20/hour. It took 1 hour. They took a check from us. We are very satisfied.

We had a leak in the sand trap on existing water meter. This was from original construction of when the house was built. I looked at the reviews on angie's list, and decided to try A1A since all reviews were A. This was the first time I had ever used them. I called them on the 1st and Nate said they could be here on the 2nd, witch was Friday. Nate gave me a approximate time he could be here and would call when he was on the way. He showed up when expected and I showed him what needed to be done. He cleaned up the old plumbing mess that was here when we bought the house in July of 2014. I am very particular in quality of work to be done, and they exceeded my expectations. The job was completely cleaned up and was very neat. Both Nate and JR were very polite and very knowledgeable in what they were doing. The price was much lower than I expected. What a great company to use for all of your plumbing needs. I will use them again should the need occur.

showed up right at the promised time and day. Were polite and good at explaining what they were doing and why. 2 guys worked and got everything I needed done in an hour and 1/2. Left no mess. Also did me a bid for a future job I need.

They were very nice, and they did all the work satisfactorily. They have been here several times and were always courteous.

They did pretty good and the job was done on time. The only part that is of concern a bit is the price.

Had a pipe burst and had to use A1 because of HWA. They were not happy about having to come right away. Said might be able to come in 1-2 hours. Wasn't quick enough. All water was turned off or the water was flooding my first floor. So I went with someone else who came out in less time. Still never heard from A1, so just cancelled.

Took my call on Sunday. Arrived promptly on Monday. Fixed on the spot.

He arrived exactly when he said he would, and was very quick in his work, informing me of what he was doing at all times. I have had my kitchen sink worked on for a leak several times since I had my kitchen redone by other people,he is the only one that totally replaced all the pipe, now it is dry. He was very professional and friendly and cleaned up everything when he was finished. I will definitely use this company again.

They were very prompt. They did a very nice job and everything is clean and put back together and it was ready to go.

I think everybody should use him. I am already telling all my friends about him. He knows exactly what he is doing and takes his time. He explains everything he is doing as well which is very nice.

Overall the job went smoothly despite difficulties that were encountered.

A1A responded promptly and in a very limited time frame. I either called the day prior, or on the same day for service and it was no problem for them. The guys came and did a professional job, however more care needed towards cleanup. I am not a picky person, but for a review to fellow Angieslist members...I will be.

Tom, the owner, was very prompt in contacting us by e-mail. He explained that if we could wait the weekend, which also happened to be a Holiday weekend, we would save considerable on the price of the work. I called the following Monday and set a time up with Tom. Tom and his son arrived at our house, at the time he specified, asked a few questions then assessed what needed to be done and started to work right away. Apparently tree roots had found there way into the clay sewer pipe outside our home along with flush-able wipes wrapped around the tree roots. They purged our whole sewer line from both bathrooms, of both tree roots and wipes. It took about an hour to clean the pipe thoroughly. Both Tom and his son were very professional and informative as to what they were doing. I have dealt with many a professional in this kind of labor intensive work but this is the first time I have dealt with someone who was there to get the job done, was pleasant and informative, and did the job not only in a timely manner but was reasonable. We will use Tom Chapman and Son again when we re-do our main bathroom. (FYI: don't use flush-able wipes. They are not what they claim and clog more sewer drains than you would think.)

He was here when he said he would be. It took quite awhile to do all the work, and I was very satisfied with it. He even went to the hardware store to pick up the lime. I was very happy with his service.

Overall it went very well despite unexpected illness and scheduling problems.They began in the basement and replaced all pipes there which involved removing part of a ceiling and wall. They were very neat and careful. They cleaned and vacuumed at the end of each day. As we had hoped, not all pipes in the house had to be replaced. They spent extra time getting flow to the kitchen sink, and a lot of extra time and parts rejuvenating the upstairs toilet, whose tank had originally taken nearly 15 minutes to fill. They also spent extra time on the bathtub which originally took 45 minutes to fill and now takes less than ten. At the end of the job, the men returned several times to sand and drywall areas in the basement in which they had worked and much area in addition to that. They were very professional and took pride in a job extremely well done. I would recommend this company without hesitation.
