Toby's Tree Care

These guys were doing some work in the area where I live. I thought I would have them quote me a price for dropping a sickly, large Ash tree and trim up some other trees. I thought since they were working in the area, the quoted price would be reasonable. The quoted amount was acceptable and within the range I was willing to pay. I am in love with these guys!!!! They had to return a few days later to finish up my job because they wanted to bring a piece of equipment that would assist them. I didn't mind the delay because they work so smoothly and well together. Each person knows what their job duty is and they just keep on working along with out being told what to do next. They were very professional and polite. Since they were in my area; a few of my neighbors had them trim their trees also. They just went along and finished up all of the trees that needed to be trimmed. I am use to seeing people slow up and/or be confused of who does what since the flow of the job has changed. I have to say, I am impressed with these guys. Boom, Boom, Boom it was done and cleaned up. I live in a wooded area, so I must say that over the many years (that I have lived here) I have had many different tree people. From now on, I will using these guys exclusively. I was so happy with the job they did and the reasonable pricing that I don't have to go anywhere else.

I needed to have 2 trees taken down & the canopy raised on another one. They were supposed to come on July 8 after 4 pm. It is now April 9 at 9 pm and not only did they not show up, they did not call yesterday or today. I had called them due to the positive experience I had with them 2 years ago. (See review of 9/11/13). I will now never consider their services again.

Toby's Tree Service provided wood chips and installed a walking path around our wooded property of over one acre. Several truckloads of chips were needed to complete the job. Toby and his workers were prompt and careful to check each step of the way. The install required large equipment to be moved over our new walkway and near garden areas. He was very careful to ask if he was not sure about a area before beginning work. He also was extremely careful not to damage any of the other flower beds or landscaping as the work continued. Toby and his staff were very careful to lay boards over areas his equipment would be working so that areas would not be damaged as work progressed. The project went so well and our walking path has been admired by our friends and neighbors. We will be using Toby's again this fall when we have our trees trimmed and property cleaned up for fall.

I saw their truck across the street from me. They did a good job so I called for a quote which I got the same day. Within 2 days the work was done and done well. Toby even cut up a 6 ft fence gate for me so that I could get rid of it. They do a lot of work in Rockford and I would definitely use them again. They're also fully insured which is not always the case with other providers.
