He did great. I've used him before. It was an excellent job. It was completed on time with very minimal disruption to me or my family. It's working great.

I recently moved out of my house and took my snow-blower with me. While I'm waiting for the house to sell I can always go back and take care of little things, but there's no way I'm prepared to deal with 13 inches of snow. With no practical way to do it myself, and not wanting to leave my driveway unplowed, especially for potential buyers, I searched Angie's List. I found Doug and described my situation. He got back to me right away, gave me an estimate and explained how he arrived at that price. Because of the extreme amount of show there was an additional charge which I understand and am totally cool with. So later that day he did a drive-by and verified his price quote. After the job was complete, Doug sent me pictures of the end result (I requested this since I would otherwise have to drive 30 miles to see it). It was awesome! Everything was cleared including the walkway and the sidewalk. It looked perfectly neat and professional. I could not have asked for a better job or overall experience. I would definitely recommend Doug's Side Jobs to a friend.

I contacted Doug Saturday (the day before the blizzard started) and asked him to remove the snow from the driveway, sidewalks and staircase, He said he might not be here that early but will do his best. Well, he exceeded his promise by getting 15 inches of snow cleared out early this morning so I can travel to work and get there on time. Doug has always been faithful in the past and continues to do so now. Very reliable he truly cares about helping with an outstanding servant's attitude.

Doug was friendly and great to work with. He came out and I showed him the long list of things to do and he sent me an estimate and then we scheduled the work fairly quickly. It took a while to accomplish due to the long list, weather and other issues, but it was all finished in a timely matter considering everything. I'm very happy with how everything turned out and definitely hope to work with Doug again next year.

All his work has been very, very satisfactory. He's a real pro. My only complain is that I wish he had a large crew that works as diligently as he does, so he could take on more projects at one time. He can be busy at times. I just submitted another set of projects to him, some inside, some outside. Hopefully he can get these done quickly. My only regret is that we have our house up for sale, and will be moving out of the immediate area. Otherwise I'm sure I'd be keeping him busy at our new place, wherever it ends up being.

Recent work was excellent once again. We were very fortunate to find Doug 5 years ago when we bought the house. We have consistently used his superior services ever since. Doug has completed a variety of tasks such as removing trees, trimming trees & bushes, mowing, edging, fertilizing, mulching, raking, power washing, snow/ice removal from roof and snow removal on driveway, etc. Doug and his team are professional, reliable, reasonable and we will continue to utilize his services.

Doug did a great job with our mailbox installation. He had to customize the installation because the oversized mailbox was not intended for the mailbox post that we purchased. I am a particular customer and I cannot say enough regarding Doug's patience and the quality of the work that he performed for us. I give him the highest reviews and you can be assured that he will give you the best service possible. After the installation was completed I asked Doug for a listing of all the services he performs and he will be the first person I call in the future for any of those services. He's personable, knowledgeable, and conscientious. I feel fortunate to have connected with him. Call Doug ... you will absolutely not be disappointed!!

Doug and his guys were truly amazing. I called and needed next day service to prepare the ground for a new deck which was to be installed on the next day.... Doug showed up gave me an estimate which was more than reasonable and said he would have his guys on the job in the morning. They showed up promptly began the work and completed it in the same day. My deck people came and started digging for the support posts, while Doug's worked around them to complete the job. Come to discover after they completed the work that Doug and one of his guys attend our same Willow Creek Church. They were indeed a blessing to us in a time of need. I would highly recommend Doug Side Jobs to anyone needing able hands to handle your landscape needs.

I was completely satisfied with the work. He explained exactly what he was going to do. He was very courteous. He cleaned the area thoroughly when he was done. The work was complete in a day and a half when he said it would be done. His charge seemed reeasonable - I got one other estimate. He is available for any questions and comments I might have. He wants to follow up to see that the system is working.

Doug is someone we cannot live without. I told him we need to do something to the outside perimeter of the house to make it look better. He knows I do not like to a lot of maintenance and he took that into consideration when he did his work. He called one morning and informed me that are cedar wood chips \ mulch which does not require anything to keep the chips in place. He told me about the color and asked if he should move forward with it. I informed Doug that we are setting up for a graduation party a few days prior to his call. That same day he called, I saw him pull up in front of the house and laying down the cedar chips. I wish I could add a picture! He charged a $100 and I did not have to do a thing. The chips have been in place for a few weeks and they are stationary just like Doug said. But wait... there's more... While he spreading out the chips, our bathroom sink broke because I was trying to unclog the drain. I told Doug about it and he ran to the hardware store and purchased the parts and fixed the bathroom sink (after inspecting the sink of course). This guy is incredible! If he didn't show up when he did, I may have had a real mess to deal with. He charged me $10 to fix the sink (plus the cost of parts which was minimal). Sure beat calling the plumber!.

Doug showed up as we planned and on time. He had items we needed to get the job which I completely overlooked and was unaware of. These were mounting brackets, special screws, gaskets and he had all the necessary tools to get everything done. Doug guided me in efforts to reduce costs so he would not have to bring another person with him. This saved several hundred hours especially since Doug ran throughout the attic running cables. The job went smoothly and without issues.

Doug is incredibly professional and prompt. He responded to my email within 24 hours. Scheduled a time to come view my property within 48 hours. He was punctual for that appointment and arrived in a logo'd shirt and clearly identified who he was - something I appreciate. He took his time to explain options and the costs associated with them and gave me a menu estimate so I could figure out what I wanted to do now versus later based on my budget. Doug was very careful to explain the risks associated with cutting back my shrubs in the hottest part of summer and made sure I understood I could lose the trees / bushes. I appreciated his honesty. The work was completed within the timeframe he specified. For the amount he specified and they cleaned up after themselves very well. My property looked great when they were done. I plan on having them return for a few other projects this spring / summer.

Doug did a great job re-installing our existing mailbox. What is even more impressive is the work was completed the same day Doug was called. We appreciate Doug Bork and the recommendation from Handymen and Mrs. Helper.

It went - - - " ideally." He and his additional crew of two young men were extremely careful. They planned the process methodically as they had to empty the house planning on the end destination of each item. Wonderful that I could count on Doug and his crew to handle things so exceptionally well. It was a hot and humid day. Doug had the additional circumstance of an antique china cabinet that I was so very concerned about moving. He wrapped it like it was going to the Far East! He transported it in the same careful manner. He and his team moved it and oh-so-carefully placed it in its new location. Our last stop was a storage facility. It was a tight situation. Not only did Doug use extreme skill in master-minding a fit for everything, he also put up with "direction" from my husband and myself with complete patience and understanding.

It went wonderfuly well. Very mannerly, clean, and protective of everything. He was very effectient. We would absolutely use the service again.

I was very pleased with his service. He is a very personable and nice guy. I call him ahead of time to make sure it is work he has experience in.

Doug is GREAT! He's thorough, polite, and picks up after himself when he's done for the day. He recommended several ideas for to improve on our existing hardscape walls and planting beds. I've tried many landscape services in the past and have never had the hgih quality of work we received from Doug. He arrives early, works late, and works weekends to get the job done. I would recommend Doug for all of your landscaping needs.
