Everything went very well. Doug took time to consult and used his extensive knowledge to give me various creative options and did not propose anything extra or that would cost me more money than it should have. He was on time and professional and obviously takes a lot of pride in doing a very good job. I will be happy to use him again.

Doug exceeded our expectations. He made our yard beautiful again and he did it all in about a day and a half. He kept us informed about when he would be working at the house, was very professional, did an excellent clean-up job and an overall awesome job. He was also able to start the work within a couple days, so our yard was beautiful for the holiday weekend. Doug was great. We started talking Saturday and by Tuesday the work I needed was done. He managed to squeeze me in despite what must have been a busy 4th of July workload. The estimate and the work happened at the same visit - very efficient!

Doug is really like an angel from Heaven who shows up right when you need him! We have been utilizing his services since we moved in 4 years ago and he always exceeds expectations and needs. Wasp Issue: Last summer we had quite a bit of wasps flying around the house. It was to the point where is was dangerous to be outside. Doug showed up and inspected the entire outside of the property including the attic (of which is very difficult to crawl around). He found 4 wasp nests. He explained how to exterminate them properly and that it takes a few visits to permanently remove the annoying insects. He spent several hours doing Doug also caulked around the roof \ gutter flashing to seal up areas at which wasps were entering the structure of the house. Gutter Repair Our gutter spouts needed to be replaced and he secured the spouts to the gutters. He also cleaned the gutter for us. Lawn Mower Repair He took our mower with him since I broke it last summer. He replaced the starting cord, the filter and tuned it up by cleaning out the gas tank, sharpening the blade and lubing the wheels and bearings. Furniture Removal We had a sectional sofa which was garbage. Doug hauled it out of our home and brought it to the proper disposal area. Storm Door Repair We had purchased a storm door from Pella (Windows and Doors). After placing the glass panel in the door, the wind blew it off the track \ hinges and bent the storm frame slightly. Pella would not honor the warranty since the "wind" did it. Doug took care of it though. Should have bought a door from Doug instead! Lawn Maintenance Dug spread fertilizer \ weed killer throughout the lawn on the property. He also educated us on what was happening with the lawn. We thought we had moles, but it was actually voles eating the top grassy part of the lawn. Trails were made throughout the lawn. We thought we had a major lawn repair bill, but Doug affirmed us that the grass would regrow once properly fertilized.

If you are looking for someone who can do many different jobs all in a day, than look no further. We built a Company owned house about 30 years ago and very little up keep was done. The house needed a total renovation from top to bottom. I called Doug, because he had very high ratings on Angie?s List and I needed many things done. I also had a four-week time frame for renovating the house. Doug and Chaz (his partner) showed up on time, looked at what needed to be done and gave me a quote. They started working immediately throwing away at least 50 bags of trash, taking down all window treatments in a 2,400 sq. foot home to throw away, along with furniture (book cases, dining room chairs, mattresses, basketball hoop etc.). They also dug out three trees from the roots (not just saw them from the bottom of the tree trunk), cut dead branches from other trees, fixed the border of bricks along the front sidewalk, caulked the outside gutter on the second floor of the house, removed a wasp nest from the outside second floor above the garage. Doug made three runs to the dump that day and he and Chaz stayed until it was dark to finish up the job. Because they worked so diligently, the general contractor was able to start work the next day. Due to the weather, Doug and Chaz came back a week later to power wash the basement floor and outside cement areas. He provided fans to make sure the basement dried properly. Before hiring Doug, I looked in to other companies to hire, but could not find one that was willing to do all that was necessary in a short period of time at a reasonable rate. I?m also having Doug come back in the Spring to plant some landscape. Doug and Chaz are very hard working, good with communication and always willing to do more if needed. I would highly recommend Doug?s Side Jobs for any job - small or large.

We called Doug's Side Jobs along with 30 other landscape companies to obtain a price for the work. The majority of the companies did not want any part of this job or wanted a small fortune to do the work. It was dark by the time we reached Doug and he immediately went to take a look at the job by flashlight. He promptly called me back with a price and said he could start the work within 2 days. After I told Doug he had the job, he called me back and said he would start immediately because the weather was about to turn bad and he knew we needed the project done asap. It took Doug 2 days to pull all this wet hay out of the ditch and load it on 7 large trailer loads to haul it away. The 2nd day he actually worked after dark by using the headlights on his truck in order to finish the job. If you need a super human to do a project asap at a very reasonable cost, you will definitely want to call Doug's Side Jobs.

Jeff was the only landscaper among 4 called to even return my call. He responded the same day I contacted him. He did the work the same week, and I was VERY HAPPY with how good of a job they did. They hauled away the waste. ALL IN ALL...EXTAREMELY SATISFIED.

It was such a positive experience. I really like working with them, they did a fantastic job. When I needed something he responded. I really had a very good experience with Doug's Side Jobs. I was very very happy with their service. He is easy to get hold of. Within 24 hours he sent me a quote. He shows up on time. I called him back because I was unhappy with how the weeds were growing which was not his fault and he came back out. He is just so professional and easy to work with I would just give him 5 stars. He is just a nice person and very reasonable.

Everything with Doug's Side Jobs went very well. I would have provided an A for "Responsiveness", but I also had an issue with a missed voice mail when I initially called for a quote. Doug did realize his mistake and returned my call a few days later. After further discussions, we established that email was a better method of communication. Since then, I've used email to communicate with Doug, and typically received a response during the evenings. The work went well, it took him about the 1 day he expected to remove the bushes, then he returned the following day, between rainfalls to complete the mulching. He did a good job of trying to prevent damage to my lawn with equipment while removing bushes. This was probably not easy with all of the rainfall we've had. I definitely plan on contacting Doug again, the next time I require landscaping services.

Doug was very easy to work with and did everything we asked for plus more. Getting on his schedule was quick and easy. From the time I called to the time he finished the work was a week or less. I highly recommend if you are in the market for having landscape work done call Doug and see what he can do for you. If the work he did for us was any indication you will be VERY happy!!!

I hired Doug, but the work is done at my mom's house. Doug met me there and walked through everything --asking lots of questions and making suggestions. My mom loves the way her yard looks, and everyone from his company has been so kind to her when she's had questions or special requests. The mowing is still done on a regular basis. It is such a blessing to have found someone who does a good job, is a pleasure to deal with and has very reasonable prices to boot!

Doug was wonderful to work with and exceeded my expectations. We had moved into our house about 6 months ago and had no idea what our landscaping/plants really looked like come spring. He did the spring cleaning, mulched and even trimmed two of our trees in the front. When I came home from work, I was so happy to see what a wonderful yard we had and was just really pleased with the job done and for the price. I will definitely be calling Doug again for future needs.

Everything looked beautiful when he got finished. He was a real perfectionist. He wanted everything to be just right. So he spent a lot of time than I would have expected, making sure that the beds were cleaned out of all weeds and dead things and grass before he mulched. He also was extremely patient. I found some more plants I wanted to put in a bed, so he planted those for me. He was very accommodating and it looks really nice. He did a beautiful job.

Doug is simply amazing. All of my neighbors indicated that I had the cleanest, clearest driveway of anyone in the entire neighborhood. He did a tremendous job each and every snowfall and I have nothing but the highest praise for his work. This is the first time that my wife and I went southwest for the winter and we were concerned about keeping our driveway clean and clear. Doug proved to us that we have nothing to be concerned about. Doug is a fantastic guy and I can recommend him without hesitation or reservations.

He did a great job! He showed up on time to give an estimate which was very fair. He told me that he would be able to do the job in a week or so, but then called me up a couple days later saying he had an earlier opening and came the next day. He worked quickly and didn't leave any mess. We would definitely use his services again.

Doug does an excellent job. He uses a snowblower instead of plow, so the driveway and sidewalks are perfectly clear*. He is timely and is easy to reach. When the big storm hit in early February, he called in advance to let me know when he was able to come - and he was there exactly when he said he would be. *I have used services in the past that use a plow and there was always a bit of snow that would fall onto the driveway from the place where the plow pushed all the snow.

Pricing was really reasonable. He did a good job.
