DECORATIVE PAINTING BY KARL

He is quick, clean and reasonably priced. He does a good job. It is a one-man show so it is difficult to get hold of him at times.

My husband and I were looking to have a mural painted on our nursery. With baby number 1 on the way, we searched in the Crystal Lake and Surrounding areas and found 5 artists, all qualified to do the job. We decided on Karl because his price was right and his talent was OBVIOUS! We reviewed his portfolio and felt that he had his own style and could mimic just about anything! A Crystal Lake resident, we were also able to "spend locally." After an ititial meeting, that included an "on the spot" fair and competative proposal, I requested that he come back to look at other ideas. We then added to the project and again, he gave us an immediate quote. One week later we met to review a sketch and to finalize color and design. Four days later, the work began. Karl showed up on time... every day. He was quick and respectful of our home. Because I was pregnant, I was home the entire time but I would have felt entirely comfortable leaving him to do his thing! He is amazingly talented and the finished product is more than we could have wished for! I would recommend Karl to anyone who needs interior painting done... especially specialty painting or murals. He will be coming back to do some other things in our home!
