Bob Leonard Landscape & Snowplow Service LLC

We have used Bob Leonard Snow Plow Service for years. I’ve always thought of it as insurance against the snow. If is a low snow year I win! If it is a high snow year Steve (Bob’s son) will take care of it. And take care of it they did even in the biggest storms. We were always able to get out for work and back in at night due to their careful watching of the day’s predictions. The most impressive and professional element of their service is after many years of near perfect plowing we had some minor damage done to our garage door. Bob Leonard Snow Plow Service stood by their promise and rectified all damage. I highly recommend this service.

I signed the contract with Bob Leonard's, and paid in full for $595 in October 2017 for snow plow service on my driveway and sidewalk. The first big snow came on January 15, 2018. Nobody plowed the snow for me on the next day. I called that company and left message, and also sent e-mail to them. Nobody had replied to me until late that afternoon. Finally, somebody came in, but just shoveled my sidewalk, not the driveway. On the third day, I gave up waiting and calling. I shoveled the snow on my driveway by myself. I have never gotten any refund either. I was very disappointed with Bob Leonard's Landscape & Snowplow Service, and will never use this company again.

Terrible and extremely disappointing. The repair job they did was of horrible quality, incomplete and still left broken. (image attached). Upon calling and emailing a few times to ask them to finish it, they have not had the courtesy to respond or correct the matter. I even emailed them saying I would consider posting reviews about their poor service, but still did not hear back. We are truly disappointed in their service, lack of caring and follow-through with long time customers such as us, and will NOT recommend either their landscaping or snow plow service to anyone. We do not know how they have earned Angie's List Awards in the past, but as of our experience with them in the 2016/17 Winter season, we think they are not deserving of such awards.

I wanted to have Spring clean-up done to several beds around my house and had already selected Bob Leonard's to do the Mulch project. Mike looked at this additional work, gave me an extremely fair price and did the work within a week, exceeding expectations on all aspects. Since I was out of town, he provided photo updates on the progress, identified issues to address and even had his crew mow the yard while they were there (at no additional charge!) He was able to get all of the work done in 2 days, including putting down the 19 yards of mulch. I would certainly recommend Mike and his crew.

Mike and his guys are fabulous! I've hired them for my weekly mowing and also a few additional projects. I'll also be hiring them for a new project in the next few weeks. They do a great job, are very friendly and Mike responds so quickly to my emails!

I was satisfied with the service provided. We had an extremely mild snow season. Service was only provided 3 or 4 times.

They were good snow plowers. We use them every winter. They show up and they were good. They did a good job.

The men are careful and one year when there was some damage to the adjacent lawn, Bob issued a credit on the next year's contract to repair the area. I appreciated that he stood behind the work. I would certainly recommend his services.

They are phenomenally reliable, crews are careful and considerate and quality of work is exceptional. They simply don't miss and give the homeowner the break when snowfall is just about 2 inches. Will continue to use them as long as they service an area in which I live. Prices are competitive and it would be foolish to walk away from this service for a couple of bucks

Initially there was some confusion and we did not get sevice. The owner was responsive and worked out the issue however.

We've used Bob Leonard's snow plow service for nearly 10 years, always getting good service within a reasonable amount of time (and getting repeat service during blizzards). For the past 2 years we've also used their landscaping service for basic lawn care, again getting good service and sometimes, at my request, adding a la carte extra services at a reasonable price. We're renewing both contracts with them again this year.

Steve worked with us to get the driveway, walkway and sidewalks plowed as quickly as possible after snow storms. The driveway was plowed first and then someone came back to shovel. The service even came at 3 am to clear snow from the sidewalks after a couple of particularly heavy snows. We appreciated the help and intend to sign up again next year.

The work they performed was up to our standards and expectations.

I was a little concerned about hiring him for the job because he had gotten a bad rap from another member. I asked him about the negative review and he explained what had happened. They gave us terrific service here. I have no idea how he could've gotten a negative review. The owner of the company assured that he would personally take care of us. They shoveled the snow all the way out to the sidewalk and back. They do great work. They have rectified the negative situation with the other member and the negative report was removed.

I was very surprised to see this company listed as one of the worst contractors of the year in the Angies List magazine. It is a shame they haven't responded to the one customer's complaint because I would like to hear their side of the story. Anyway, we have used the snow plow service for several years. We had tried many different snow plow services in the past and they tended to never show up when we really needed them. My husband is a physician and there were many times when he was called in to see patients at the hospital and ended up shoveling our long driveway himself just so he could get out. Bob Leonard has always shown up within a reasonable amount of time. Even after the huge blizzard last year, when we thought we would be stuck there all day, the plow showed up by noon and totally cleared our driveway. He even made sure we could get our son's car out of the driveway so he could clear all the snow. This was before many of the streets around us had even been cleared. We were so impressed we decided to hire them to do our landscaping, too. Our previous landscaper had left our lawn in pretty bad shape, with lots of weeds and burned out patches. This summer it ended up looking much better. Mike (I think that is who it was) even rang the doorbell to let me know that our lawn was too wet and we needed to water it less.
