+ -1 moreMy neighbor’s use this service. They come every Tuesday morning and spend five minutes tops in their front and back yard. They do the absolute bare minimum of just cutting their grass on riders. Their yard still looks like an unkept jungle full of weeds, dandelions, dead trees, and low branches. What bothers me most about this company is that if there is garbage in the way of the older gentleman on the rider, he will run it over scattering small garbage pieces all over my lawn, all while he smoke his cigarette “doing his job”. Terrible service. Would never recommend.

Description of Work: This service was for a spring clean up to include rake and blow leaves from front and read beds. Re-edge all beds and turn mulch. Rake and blow leaves from front and rear lawns, ick up fallen tree limbs. Trim evergreens and bushes in rear bed. Cut front and rear lawn to prep it for spring growth. Haul debris to landfill. Black Oak trimmed a large row of bushes that didn't belong to me. When I brought it to his attention, he said he would be willing to talk to the neighbor if needed, however, he didn't offer to reduce the price of the bill, even though there were bushes of mine that he didn't cut at all. When I informed him that his guys didn't turn the mulch, he said I didn't have any mulch to turn and he didn't charge for that anyway. Again, why was it included in my bill? His company re-edged all the beds. In doing so, they enlarged the beds significantly and in some cases, changed the contour of the beds. I didn't want the beds enlarged or changed. I cancelled the weekly lawn service after this experience. Evidently, Black Oak didn't care enough to correct the situation, nor did they try to make amends. They just cashed the check very quickly.
