Suffered hail storm damage. Dealt with Cody Benjamin. He is great. Very professional, explains everything including very confusing insurance payouts, depreciation and depreciation recovery. His roofing crew is very efficient. We added a couple of new skylights which Cody put in himself, He subcontracted the painting and deck re-staining. The crews showed up at the promised time and were very efficient, replacing a large roof in one day. Very pleased. All workmanship is excellent. We were also contacted by a storm-chaser who gave us a low-ball bid but their reviews here on Angie's list were not good. Happily paid more for quality and professional work from Benjamin Brothers.

After initial meeting, everything else handled smoothly thru email. Start date actually a day earlier. Job completed on time. Met with workers late afternoon each day. The group leader showed me the repairs and explained how some of the new materials were designed for the job. Very professional. Day after completing, worker came by to pick up extra material and dumpster. Payment expected only after job completed and invoice emailed. Again, convenient. Would use this company again.

Matt and Cody Benjamin and their crews were wonderful, I hired them to remove the two old roofs on my house and replace with top quality shingles along with new gutters and downspouts, Additionally, I had them replace the metal roof on my 70' x 30' pole barn. My wife and I could not have been more impressed with their friendly, professional, knowledgeable and timely approach, Two other roofers who provided estimates were unrelenting in their daily phone calls asking us to sign contracts. Matt and Cody were just the opposite. They gave us a reasonable estimate, reviewed the type of high quality material they recommended along with warranty and left us alone to make a decision. All together it was a very stress free process and now we live under a new high quality roof. Highly recommend Benjamin Brothers

These guys did a good job. It's nice that they use smaller trucks to haul away their debris, so you're not stuck with a massive Dumpster on your property for days.

We had Benjamin Brothers come out in summer of 2017. They provided us with an estimate that was fair and told us our roof would probably last for another couple years. We held off on fixing the roof and fast forward to June 2018, we had a leak. We called them to see if they could come out to help with the leak. My husband called and was told we would get a call back. Nothing. I called - was told we would get a call back. Nothing. We waited a day to see if we would get a call back. Nothing. I contacted them on Angie's list. They did not respond. After posting a review on Angie's list which discussed my frustration with the situation, the owner contacted me. He reminded me that their company does not do roof repair, just replacement. (Which I had forgotten.) He also explained that he was out of town with a new cell phone number and that may have impeded communication. This is all very understandable. I still however wonder why the person who took my husband and my call couldn't just have told us that they didn't do roof repair. Would have save a lot of stress. With all the above in mind, I still appreciated the fact that the company was very professional when they gave us our estimate in 2017 and they did agree to honor their estimate from last year if we chose to have our roof replaced with their company.

Benjamin Brothers did an excellent job on replacing our. The workers are very professional and did and totally cleaned the entire area to where you didn't know they were there. All great quality and they were also the lowest price out of 4 quotes that we received.

Cody was exceptionally personable and easy to work with. He was able to get me on his schedule quickly and the work was completed just as described. While he noted that he typically didn't deal with interior work, he was still able to get this done for us to get us to a brand-new like state.

Cody and his team did a great job. Excellent communication about all the steps of the process. The job was done in 1 day and everything was clean when they left.

As a preface I did get quotes from other people, but chose Ben. Bros. As they were quicker to respond by DAYS, and lowest bid by thousands for exact same shingles, roof decking and vents needed, and shortest time line (done in 1 day). happy I picked them and highly recommend them. Cody was very responsive from the beginning. He messaged me saying over the thanksgiving holiday (shocking!) saying he got my inquiry and would respond on Monday morning, and he did! He was always helpful and quick to respond in his emails; answering a million questions from me. The job was done well, my yard was well covered, he was on site with his guys, and answered loads of questions while he was there. Couldn’t be happier.

They were very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and overall I liked their fair pricing. I'm extremely satisfied with the completed work and the work guarantee (as they are GAF certified too). The house looks completely new and remarkable. The overall experience made me feel that I picked the right company. Cody was also very helpful on deciding the colors and explaining and suggesting things and showed us samples and other choices. Cody was a pleasure to work with and reliable. Benjamin Brothers did an outstanding job replacing the hail damaged siding, roof and window wraps etc. Most importantly I was very pleased to be able to speak with the owner and I had no trouble reaching him on his phone or email. He emailed me the information requested the same day and his crew did very good job and cleaned up nicely at the end of the day. I was also notified well ahead of any changes or scheduled work or any delays due to weather etc. I would hire Benjamin Brothers again for the type of services that they provide without hesitation. They did the work in a very timely manner and I liked their estimate price (which was right on when job was completed) in comparison to other contractors. Benjamin Brothers were flexible on payments and did not ask for any upfront money to start the job, where other contractors wanted half up front. I'm extremely pleased with work completed and the work guarantee; plus they are GAF certified so this is always a plus.

It went very well. They replaced the roof and replaced rotten plywood in an area where the roof had been leaking. The crew were friendly and easy to have around the house. They did it on time and did a great job of cleaning up after the job was done.

They are terrific although we haven't completed the final inspection and release of check - Cody provided our insurance company and also our lender to complete all needed paperwork. The roof was completed in a couple of days, the site cleaned and pictures sent to us (we live out of town). Excellent customer service and would definitely recommend them with the highest praise.

It was done on time, in 1 day, with good clean up afterwards and it looks great. I was offered 3 price ranges and chose the middle one. I also chose ridge venting over the standard venting.

WOW, this company is amazing! I am about to buy a new home in Schaumburg and my closing date is in a week. A couple of days ago there was a strong storm in Schaumburg and reports of severe damage all around. I asked for a quote to Benjamin Brothers for a roof inspection today. They went to the property and did the inspection for free! I was sent pictures of the roof and a detailed description of what they found. There was no damage so I am very happy. Can't say anything about their work because no repairs were done, but I can say they are an honest company, they responded promptly, were very professional and would definitely hire for future repairs.

Excellent, very professional. Came to fix a missing section of shingles. Initial fix didn't match color exactly, but I was happy with it. They still came back the next day to fix it with properly matching shingles. Would definitely hire them again.

I emailed Benjamin Brothers on a Friday for a roof inspection. I was surprised that on Saturday they called and were out to inspect the roof that afternoon. What a quick response. One of the Benjamin brothers did the inspection, he was very courteous and answered all of my questions, after a thoroughly inspection of the roof he found that the roof was in good condition and recommended that no repair was necessary. I didn't think that the roof needed repair after all it is only eight years old. I really appreciate their honesty. And yes the inspection was free.

Done in one day. Clean up was meticulous, workmanship was amazing and warranty is amazing. I would use them again.
