Description of Work: We first used them when a car ran into the front of the house and tore out all the vegetation. They replaced all plants and were able to save a tree. Great job. Since then, we've been using them for weekly lawn care and snow removal in the winter when we're out of town. Dependable and good.

Contacted Roxanne for proposal and estimate to restore landscaping in front and back yards (~60x150 lot). She informed us that she charges ($50.00) for design proposal and we agreed. Tried two seasons to work with her but could not come to agreement (basically she offered the same plan two seasons in a row). Timing with Acorn is ~tight~. They operate on a "first-come-first-served" basis and with a proudly self-described "small crew". As a result, both seasons we felt we were always in a "rush" to get on her schedule. Our final impression: creative (but you're best off if you like it her way) and we found her to be ~very arrogant~ as to others in her field. Recommendation: maybe worth consideration (caveats noted) but be prepared to do it her way, get on her list fast or wait until she can "fit you in".

I was generally very happy with them. They did the work when they said they would and were very responsive. They did a good job of cleaning up when they were done and putting things back together.
Description of Work: They came out to our home and put in some French drains.
