Tore several screens throwing old shingles off of roof and smashed several bushes with same. Promised to come back in future to pick up torn screens and have repaired but never did so even after multiple phone calls. Did not put in any roof venting on the ridges. When we demanded that they come back to install proper ridge vents the owner came to our home and insisted that the vents had been installed. My husband demanded he come up into the garage attic to visually see that there had not been any cuts made into the roof that should have been evident if ridge vents were present. Owner agreed finally after over an hour of denial that they did not do the proper job. Did a horrible job pretending to caulk around flashing on fireplace which left gaping openings in the flashing so that a winter rain storm leaked into our Master bedroom and caused the whole fireplace wall to become saturated with water, ruining all the dry wall and the wallpaper as well as the causing the tray ceiling in that half of the bedroom to collapse into the room and rain soaked 1/2 the carpet of our room, which is 16 x 20. Denied that they caused any of that problem. We had to hire another roofer (who came with glowing recommendations) to come and take a look. He took photographs of the lack of ridge venting and the holes in the flashing around the fireplace to prove the incompetence of Perfect Choice. He stood on our roof and called down thru the openings to me in the master bedroom and asked if our room was wallpapered yellow, which it was. He could see the walls through the holes that had been left in the roof by Perfect Choice-we have photos to document all of this. At this point we had roofer #2 come in and repair all the mistakes that had been made and he took care of the problems. We contacted Perfect Choice and asked for a refund for the job they DIDN'T do on our roof and they refused.

I was not happy with the quote we got from Perfect Choice Exteriors for new windows. A salesman came in and didn't even bring in a window to show us. He had to go back to his car to get it. He explained some things. I told him we were just looking for a quote and get some ideas at that point. But he kept trying to get me to sign something. I told him I'm not looking to sign anything right now. When I told him that, he didn't say a word, packed his stuff up and he left. It's the least friendly salesperson I ever met, whether it was buying flowers or buying windows. They tried to rectify that, but we ended up going with another company.

We had them bid the whole roof and then requested just the rear half, which was previously storm damaged and repaired. They were very willing to come out and prepare a new estimate. After we decided on them, signed the contact and paid the deposit, it was about 2 weeks before the materials and then the crew arrived. They worked very diligently to finish in 2 days. We had a walk around inspection after that, and paid off the balance. There were a couple details that they came back and fixed up. They had the best price amongst the bidders and did a good job.

The estimate was given in July with work to start in Sept. The materials were delivered to the job in the last week of july and sat in my yard until they decided to start my job. When the installer showed up it was 1 person the first day that worked approx. 3 hours to go take care of another job did not return until the following day. He then left after 4 hours for some reason not to come back for 2 days. he said they needed assistance on another job. he did work for the full day on Friday, but did not see him again until Monday when he showed up with another installer. They finally got the siding installed after approx 10 days start to finish on a 1000 sq. foot house. they also forgot to order the correct color of gable vents I settled on white as I was tired of dealing with the whole situation by then. the window install went great no Problems there. Overall the house looks excellent, However there service after the sale is lacking I feel as they are way over booked on jobs usually.We have had them out a couple of times for minor adjustments it took awhile for them to show up but they finally did when they got time.

See above After 2.5 weeks, we have not received any information as we were assured we would. I think he knew that once we checked them out we would not be doing ANY business with them. The contractor we did hire has never heard of them and was shocked at the reps behavior .

The salesperson that came in for presentation was on time and had a fair price. They came in, started their work on time as informed but I what I did not like was the lack of follow up. I constantly kept asking them when they were going to come and get started and fix the problem but I think I shouldn’t keep doing that. They did their best what they could but I had to put a little effort.

For the 1st job, the 2 person team arrived a couple minutes late (they said it took a little longer than expected loading the truck with everything needed) on Thursday. The lead person - Greg - worked inside while the other - Matt - worked outside. Getting the old windows out was time consuming while putting the new ones in (we had some special set ups) went far more quickly.The team stayed on task only stopping for lunch. As the first day was getting into mid afternoon, Greg told me that the weather forecast was calling for rain. He suggested that they quit removing windows and focus on finishing the work around the big ones they had put in so far. The reason was that he wanted to be sure that all the new windows were completed so that if it rained, nothing would seep into the walls. This is where the outside guy - Matt - shined.He completed the exterior work on these large windows and when he finished the exterior looked better than prior to their starting. Greg's interior work was also very good.I had to leave town the next day so I told them we would have to complete the change over Monday of the next week. The response was "no problem" and a time was set. They returned ahead of schedule that Monday and completed their work. It is important to note that they may have been able to finish the windows the first day but they suggested extending it and returning because they did not want weather damage. The bad weather did not happen as forecasted but I appreciated their concern. These windows are excellent. They have dramatically cut down the outside sounds. As I type this review the winds are howling outside as the trees blow wildly to the high level gust. However the noise heard at my deck which is next to the largest window put in is almost nothing - a dramatic change from the old ones. The windows also improve the privacy in our house (visually)! The gases in between the window panes reduces the view from the outside in. The 2nd job was also completed by Greg and Matt in one day. Again it was excellent work and they remained on task throughout the day. They finished the windows and put the new screen door on. These windows are as good as the 1st job. In fact, my wife and I feel their final work, and the windows, improved the appearance and marketability of our house.

After we gave them our down payment, it took 2 months to get an installation appointment. We had to call them several times to check on the status of our door, and ultimately had to resort to threaten a call to the Consumer Fraud Division of our state if they did not get the door installed by a certain time. On the day we were supposed to have the door installed, I had taken off work, only to get a phone call half an hour after the guy was supposed to be there, that he was sick and we would have to re-schedule. We did, and he did show up on the new day. There was only one guy working (a second guy showed up for part of the time), but most of the time there was just the one guy. Two weeks ago I called them because we misplaced the information that we need for the tax rebate, so I wanted them to just give me the information. I left a message with their service and never heard back. I called them again a couple of days later, and left another message for Stacy, this time with another employee. Never heard back. I called today and actually talked to Stacy, and she said that she would get the papers in the mail to me today. I'm curious to see if it actually happens.

I installed thermal windows to get government tax credit this year. The two people that came out were late on both days. Only one of them worked; the other person was just supervising things. He pulled out my moldings to install the windows and did not put it back the right way. As a result there were gaps around the molding. Also, he used smaller nails on the molding. The windows still look nice, but they are expensive.

Salesperson pushy. At first quoted a price of 7000 and then asked if this was want we thought it would be and then asked for a counter offer. Negotiated to the 5000 if we'd put a sign in the yard. Installer team parked truck in yard and set up equipment in yard leaving dead grass areas after. Salesperson stated we would go through each of the windows with an installer and receive a survey to make sure they would fix anything before they left. (didn't happen) Told us they would take at most 2 days to replace windows. It took 3. Didn't tell us this until I asked at 2pm on the second day to find out approximately how much longer they would be. (Note had told us at the end of day 1 that if they started at 830am they would work till done.) Company said they would be here at 10am the first day they showed up at 830am. Asked when they would show up for day 2 and they asked what was too early I responded 820 they showed up at 820am (not too bad. Day 3 I had to go back to work as I hadn't been told in enough time to expect the 3rd day off. (They only had exterior work to finish) The crew showed up at 730. I was told they would do one window start to finish before starting the next which did not happen. Day 1 replaced all for 1 of windows. But did not no any finish work such as moldings etc. day 2 last window and all inside trim and day 3 outside trim. This wouldn't have bothered me so much if they had said that was what was going to happen. Had a crew of ~2-3 on any given day but only one guy seemed to know what was going on while the others carried around tools, and pulled out old windows.
