 + -1 moreInstall was done immediatly after the estimate was given. Neat and clean. However, due to a back-up pump being in the same pit, the new pump's float switch hung up and let the pump run continously. I called them that night and they came out the next day at the agreed on time. They replaced the free floating type switch with a float-on-a-guide-rod style switch. No charge of course. I'm very satisfied.
Description of Work: Diagnosed ejector pump that had a faulty switch. I decided to replace the pump, switch and check valve due to age. (15+ years old) They replaced old pump and valve with new. The pump was a very well built Barnes brand.

 + -1 moreGreat. He was on time, courteous, offered to take shoes off and clean up and gave good explanations of what he planned to do and did. Have peace of mind now when it rains. I have heard horror stories about sump pumps. You never know when they will just give out. It's good to get them checked once in a while as PM.
Description of Work: Tom, replaced our ejector pump (it was 10 years old). Our pump would run, but would not shut off. He said it was the switch located on the plug, and since the pump was over 5 years, they don't like to just replace the switches as that is not a complete fix, just basically a band-aid. Once he verified the problem he gave us options for what we could do. He made suggestions, but did not push one way or the other. He installed a better pump, with a warranty of 1 year. We have used them before, would use again and definitely recommend.

 + -1 moreWhen they were doing the work they put a hole in the pipe which caused a fair amount of damage. They were very responsive paying for and taking care of all repairs and cleaning. They referred a quality plumber to replace the pipes. Other than the one mistake they were great.

 + -1 moreThe company gave a very quick and thorough performance through their technician Dave. It took him less that 10 minutes from the time he arrived to set up clear the blockage in the line. He was also very thorough and professional in describing the nature of the problem. The company issued a 90 day warranty on the work. Dave was confident that the work should hold up for about a year. It has been over 8 months since the service was performed and there has been no sign of sewer trouble yet. There was about a 20% increase for the cost of this work due to it being performed on a Saturday. This job was still well worth the cost due the fine results.
Description of Work: Our technician Dave rodded our 5 inch main drain and cleared a large amount of tree roots. He used a machine and a large cutting head that could cut roots from the entire diameter of pipe. Dave then televised and recorded the sewer line after the roots were cleared. He recorded and cataloged observances of any irregularities in the main line. We got to keep a videotape of the sewer line inspection.
