After contemplating WHICH company to hire for our much-needed siding, fascia, gutters, soffits, for our home project. We sat down with a total of 6 different companies when hiring someone THIS important and not CHEAP you HAVE to be vigilante and do your due diligence. We needed to compare pricing, what each company had to offer, reviews looked like both google, BBB, etc. after all you can’t UNDO it later. We did NOT want to pick the wrong company. We ended up going with M&M Remodeling [Crete] upon discovering TONS of POSITIVE reviews, even our neighbor used them for his roof project. We were of course SUPER squeamish as to what the project would be like just how much aggravation would be involved, which part(s) didn’t get ordered, would there be unforeseen delays, would there be 1 person showing up to do the work of 5? What would communication be like, which is KEY in my opinion. It would be SAFE to say we were SO SCARED because unfortunately nowadays businesses don’t honor what was agreed upon and just want the sale so will say anything to get it. I can tell you that not only were they punctual, EXTREMELY polite, VERY professional, each worker of the 5 that showed worked on a separate part of my 2300 sq. ft. ranch home and concentrated solely on their assigned areas and were laser focused! They are wonderful about communicating with each other AND us if any questions/concerns arose and they were quick to put them out. Two superintendents showed up throughout the job checking in on the guys to make sure things were moving along at a good pace, to check and see if materials were delivered as needed, if pieces/parts were missing they would quickly act on retrieving them all WITHOUT stopping the job! And introduced themselves to us to make sure any problems were quickly squashed. They answered a couple of questions we had in REAL TIME and even visited with us to put our concerns to rest. They were wonderful about clean up, if I asked for something to be removed even if it was NOT part of the job they were happy to accommodate so long as we were happy! So, if you’re looking for a company that keeps there word, provides EXCELLENT service, and communication is important you will WANT to only hire M&M Remodeling. After working with M&M Remodeling we quickly discovered that M&M Remodeling clearly stands for METHODICAL & MAGNIFICENT! Thank you 😊 :)

Our historic Arts & Crafts home, constructed in 1907, underwent an aluminum cladding installation during the 1960s, which after another 60+ years was now drafty by modern standards and had a rather tired-looking exterior after decades of exposure. We were determined to maintain the home's original character and avoid the use of vinyl siding. After conducting extensive research, we opted for James Hardie fiber cement siding; however, we learned that the installation had to be carried out according to the manufacturer's guidelines to avoid potential issues down the line. This meant selecting a qualified installer recommended by James Hardie, which is why we chose M&M Home Remodeling Services. The company provided us with a skilled team comprising Hector and his crew as installers and Johnny as project manager. We highly recommend this dream team, as Hector's dedication to quality and attention to detail ensured a flawless and absolutely beautiful installation. He even added some thoughtful touches that enhanced the home's aesthetic while bringing it into the 21st century. Thanks to their efforts, our home now feels modern, airtight, sturdy, and resilient against strong winds.

MONEY DRIVEN COMPANY. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU HAVE A LAWYER TO READ THE CONTRACT THOROUGHLY. My wife and I called this company to do the roof for us in October 2021. As soon as the salesman (Bret Friedman) came in to our home to speak about the roof replacement he had a contract he told us to sign. I specifically told him that I didn’t wanted to be in the contract since I might be needing to use my credit for another need I had. He proceeded to sign the contract with my wife to later (after a week without hearing nothing from him) I called him and two days later after that, I received an email from him that said that they needed to include me in the contract because of city’s restrictions with permit. (Totally a rookie move) At the time of signing the contract 10/26/21 he assured us that we were were getting a roof before Thanksgiving. (That quickly was off the table, of course after signing the contract, sales pitch) This, I took as the first sign of dishonesty by the salesman and the company. After I called directly the company and after getting someone from the company to come to my house and get final measurements I was told that I likely was going to get a roof by December 10, 2021. That still depended on weather. At that time nothing was assured and definitely nothing was in writing. I started to feel let down by this company then, especially because when Bret Friedman came in he saw that my project was an emergency. I wanted to just send this guys to heck due to their unprofessional behavior. That’s when everything shifted from we want to do your project to aggressive harassment. It started from the salesman telling me that he didn’t recommended me to drop the contract due to high cancellation fees. That, he was not incorrect. After receiving a few treats of getting a mechanical lien in our property from David and Jeff (managers at M&M Home remodeling services, my wife and I decided to finally pay them the cancellation fee of over 2,900 dollars plus “late fees” and never to work nor recommend this company. Please beware. Read everything and have a lawyer read the contract you receive from them because otherwise you might end up with 2,900 dollars less and with a bigger problem at home. Legally correct, maybe, definitely not morally correct. Lastly, ask for EVERYTHING that you sign in a paper copy form. The cancellation fee part was signed by my wife only in an iPad tablet from the salesman. It’s definitely frustrating to have such companies taking advantage of customers in that way because at the end nothing was done.

My elderly mother in law had her flat roof replaced. The original quote was around $45,000- at the end of the job she paid close to $65,000. They damaged an interior ceiling and they "do not work on interior" so they will not fix the damaged ceiling. They were great when we were starting out and now that the roof is done and they are paid, they are extremely difficult to work with and to get ahold of. The roof is still leaking. They blamed the leaking on condensation and the furnace. We have now paid to have 2 furnace companies come and neither have found anything that could create that much condensation. BEWARE. Do not give this company your money. Once they think the job is done, they are done with you. We have damaged ceilings to fix, a couch to replace that was covered in water and a leaking roof - all of that cost us $65,000.

Great / Steve the the installer did a great job ,explained everything he was going to do, had to do some extra things to complete installation , but looked great afterwards . His supervisor George stopped by to check on the job and was very helpful as well. Would recommend this business in the future, Communication was excellent thru the whole process

Very well. Mike was personable, explained things well. Price was an eye-opener, though to be fair, all materials for this project were about four times higher than a year ago. M&M gave me a break as I live very close to them. Overall, satisfied. Job was done well. No complaints.

Rep showed up on time , surveyed the problem and told me what had to be done. He quoted a price and schedule and both were met with no problems.

I was so impressed with the work the crew did. They cleaned up every day. They found and fixed mistakes a previous company made. I called them on a Thursday, the agent came out Saturday, job was done within a week and a half.

We choose M&M to replace the roof on our home in September of 2019. We choose M&M based on previous work they had done on our home and the fact the company operates from a brick and mortar shop in Crete, IL. On September 10, 2019 we signed the contract with M&M to replace our roof. Shortly thereafter and once we shared our email address we receive an unsolicited email 17 days later on September 27th 2019 from M&M Home Remodeling with tips on how to prepare for fall remodeling projects also included in the email was a coupon for $500 off roofing purchases in excess of $8,500. Up until this time, we had never received emails of any type from M&M and since the work on the roof had not yet started and with the total cost to replace the roof being $10,160 with a $4,500 down payment made, we thought we would be able to take advantage of the $500 off coupon. We reached out to see if we could take advantage of the coupon. We were informed that the coupon was not good on previous sales and the coupon was not honored. The roof was installed on October 29th 2019 and the remaining $5,600 on the invoice was paid. However in addition not honoring the coupon the workmanship and installation of the roof was unsatisfactory. The shingles to not lie flat on the roof surface that butt up against the siding along the roof line. The silver flashing is exposed and is the trim to cover the flashing was not installed. When we reached out to M&M we were told that it was natural for the shingles not to lie flat and the flashing would weather and change color over time. I’ve attached photos to show the deficiencies.

Excellent, on time, materials always on site, clean up daily, friendly staff, attention to detail, able to overcome small obstacles.

The person came to the house to inspect the roof. He left and didn’t let us know he was done and our door was wide open. When we called and asked if he left he proceeded to get in an argument with my mom. We called the office to let them know and they stated that they would have someone else come and give us a quote but never did. It is a shame because they were highly recommended.

No complaints everything was perfect from the sale person to the work that was done!!

New windows, soffit, fascia, Hardie siding, and gutters. All provided by 3 different crews at M&M. From working with our sales person Mike to working with the three crews and field supervisor Chad we were extremely pleased with the people and the work we had done. Basically we had the entire exterior of our 1962 house redone and we couldn't be happier. We were amazed at how smoothly the process went especially considering how big the project was. Our sales person Mike was integral in helping us figure out a plan of action. He was very thorough and patient. Showed us different options and walked the property with us several times in the beginning with no pressure sales tactics. He answered all of our questions and helped to problem solve "vintage house" issues on several occasions. The crews that came on three different stages were all amazing. They all arrived when they were scheduled to. They are incredibly hard-working and skilled at what they do. They work long hours to get the job done in as timely a fashion as possible without compromising the quality. The quality of their work is excellent. We could not believe how great all of the work we had done turned out. During the two weeks that all of the work was being done we had multiple visits from Chad the field supervisor to make sure all was going well and to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend M&M and would definitely use them again in the future.
