We called for normal maintenance. We never had a problems with our boiler. Now our boiler is flooding our basement! We don't know what Dykstra did but they created a problem. Wish they never came to our house. Dykstra keep saying management will contact us. This was on December 9th 2022 it is now December 13th 2022. Still no one have reach out to us.

Dykstra Home Services sets a gold standard in both customer service and workmanship. Our older house that had mostly been upgraded still had a pretty ancient furnace. When it started to unreliable we called Dykstra Home Services. Rich came out and did our estimate and he gave us multiple options to choose from. We were able to find an efficient unit in our budget and our install was scheduled the same week. Jim and Moises came to install the new unit. I was greeted with their warm smiles when I opened my door! They were prompt, efficient, kind, and accommodating. They finished the job within the time frame we were given and they did a wonderful job all around. Both guys were willing to answer any questions I had and walked me through changing the filter on my new unit. It also puts my mind at ease that Dykstra Home Services is family owned and operated. I enjoy supporting small local business that take pride in their trade, Dykstra definitely fits the bill. I will highly recommend Dykstra Home Services to my family and friends.

Dykstra Home Services did an excellent job in the installation of a furnace, air conditioner, and smart tbermostat. The salesman was extremely helpful from beginning to end. He responded to the number of questions I had; was here when the technicians began the installation; came after the installation was completed to inspect the job; and worked with me in the rebate process. The two technicians did an excellent job in the installation of the units. The units were installed as promised in a professional manner. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. In the process of hiring a contractor, I got 5 bids. Dykstra Home Services had the most cost effective bid. My research had Carrier with the best rated equipment. My only concern was not with Dykstra Home Services, but with the Carrier Home Office in Indianapolis and their Cool Cash Rebate Program. Initially I called them to determine the amount of Cool Cash Rebate I would receive for the exact equipment I had installed. When it came to paying the rebate it was $200 less than initially promised. In inquiring for the reason why, I was told the Carrier Home Office person, made a mistake. I would have thought Carrier would have covered this for the customer. It was a small amount considering the amount of customer investment in the furnace, air conditioner, and smart thermostat. In the end I was very satisfied with the work of Dykstra Home Services and would recommend them if you are considering installing new HVAC. equipment.

They didn't do any work. They were supposed to clean and check my A/C unit. The tech that they sent out twice refused to do any work, because he said my A/C unit was too old and if he touched it they'd have to install a new one. It was just a bad experience with their tech and they did refund my money. I think he was just not knowledgeable. I had paid for the services but they did end up refunding. You probably are not going to get what you are calling for service wise. I just think their techs are not trained properly.

Perfect! Took a total of 2 days to complete, removal of my 25 year old system, install of the new. Everything was cleaned up, and I was given a full walkthrough on my new system. Both my furnace, coil and outdoor AC unit were replaced. I also added in the Honeywell 4" filter module. Makes it easer to replace and maintain, as well as offering better filtration. I did keep my Nest Rev 2 Thermostat and did not need to upgrade to the Carrier Cor touch pad.

It did not go! After I scheduled the work, I was asked to sign and date the contract and select which of the payment options I intended to use. I selected financing. I scanned the document and emailed it back to the representative. I asked if he had received it, and he indicated that he had. A couple of days later, I found a phone message asking how I intended to pay. The representative never answers his phone, so I left a message that I intended to finance the work. Somewhat later, he sent an email asking for the third time how I intended to pay for the work, and followed it up with another phone call. It was already the day before the work was to be done. I told him again that I intended to finance it. It was only then that he told me that I had to go to the Dykstra home page and apply for financing myself through Wells Fargo. I had assumed that Dykstra would take the initiative of this, as they had not previously told me that I would have to do it myself. I went immediately to the Dykstra home page and applied to Wells Fargo and almost immediately received information from Wells Fargo that I was eligible for considerable credit, three times what I needed. I called the Dykstra representative back and left a message (because, again, he does not answer his phone). Between 10 and 11 o'clock that night (the night before the work was to be done), the representative called back and said that it was too late to come the next morning to do the work and asked if I could reschedule. When I said that I could not, he offered me $50 off the price to reschedule. At that point, I decided that I really did not want to continue to deal with this representative, and I cancelled the work. Perhaps the representative was overworked. I still do not have insulation, and would like to find a reliable company to provide it.

I did not have the service performed. I agreed to the level of insulation to be installed. I was then requested to sign the agreement, date it, and note how I wanted to pay for the service. I indicated that I wanted to finance it. I scanned and emailed the contract and was informed that it had been received. After noting on the contract that I wanted to finance the work, I was then asked two more times how I wanted to pay for the work. The last time I was asked was the night before the work was scheduled to be performed. At that time, I was told that I had to obtain the financing myself by going to the Dykstra home page and contacting Wells Fargo. I did so immediately and immediately was informed by Wells Fargo that I had received three times the required amount of financing. I left a message for the Dykstra contact (because he never answers his phone). Between 10 and 11 p.m. the night before the work was to be done, I received a return call and was told that it was too late to do the work the next morning. I was asked to reschedule. When I said that I could not, I was offered $50 to do so. At that point, I decided that I could not rely on the company to adhere to their contract or schedule and said that I was no longer interested in having them do the work. I wrote a letter to the owner of the company, but have never heard from him.

No one likes to spend a lot of time and money replacing their home's furnace and air conditioner. However, the professionals at Dykstra Home Services made the process as painless as possible. Phil Bosi in sales came to my home, took measurements, asked questions about our home and preferences, and then walked me through various options and price points. He explained the energy efficiency ratings of the components and available rebates through the equipment manufacturer and my local gas and electric utilities. He walked me through the changes to ductwork and venting that would need to be made during the installation to accommodate the newer, more efficient equipment and took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered. I even had a firm quote in hand before he left my home! The installation process was terrific too. John R. and Israel were professional, polite, efficient, and left my home debris-free. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work performed. It's clear these gentlemen take pride in their workmanship and take no shortcuts. All of the sheet metal transitions are clean and tight, the new PVC intake and exhausts were positioned next to an existing I-beam to keep the appearance neat and clean, and all of necessary holes to connect the interior and exterior are well-sealed. They made sure I was happy with the work and understood how to operate the equipment before they left my home. Overall an excellent experience. I highly recommend them!

They did fine. They could basically provide a quicker service. The quality of their work was very good. They always come later than when they say they would. I would tell a friend or a family member to use them.
