Description of Work: Knapp was supposed to do an estimate for our stamped concrete. We called and made arrangements for them to come out and estimate. They never showed up or called back. A week later I called and asked what happened. They stated they forgot. They came back out and gave an estimate way higher then the three others.

 + 2 moreStarted with a good estimate and we chose them because they could do all the work and I thought that would make for better coordination and they had the best price. Unfortunately they started the demo before getting permits from the city and then we had no driveway for a week while we waited for the permits. The concrete work is still structurally sound after 2 years but it is not aesthetically appealing as there are many spots that look unfinished compared to the concrete apron that the city replaced 6 years ago. Water pools in places and drains back to the garage door in one spot. We also had to wait on the front porch and back deck as the Knapp crew did the demo but the subcontractors were too busy to get to the job so we had a mudpit in the backyard and a 4 ft drop off in the front so we had to use the garage door for 2 weeks. Eventually they got new subcontractors when I threatened to throw them off the job and the new carpenters did a decent job on the porch and deck. Next time, I am certainly going to ask about subcontractors.
Description of Work: Demolished a side walk and 15 feet of driveway and then poured new concrete Demolished a 12 by 13 ft back deck and rebuilt Removed surface boards from front porch 8 by 14 ft and replaced surface boards and railing installed outside electrical outlet in back yard.

 + 3 moreFrom start to finish we were plagued by bad weather, but they never tried to rush it so that they could do it right the first time. I am very happy with this firm.
Description of Work: Knapp removed my sinking asphalt driveway and replaced it with stamped concrete that looks like slate. The guys were great throughout the entire ordeal. It became complicated because right after they ripped out the asphalt it rained every day for like 3 weeks. When the weather finally allowed them to complete the job they did it beautifully. I did get a permit for the job and they are in good standing with the village. Their work is professional and their work ethic is admirable. They take a lot of pride in their work and it shows in the finished product. I wish I could post a picture of the driveway.

 + 0 moreSent a request through ServiceMagic.com and they were the first to respond. They came out quickly and provided a quote for the concrete and electrical. They quoted a reasonable price compared to others so I chose them. The concrete was poured and looks great. Very professional work. Electrical was run end to end and they wired it straight to the hot tub. Excellent work on both accounts and would use them for any future construction.
Description of Work: Concrete and electrical for hot tub. Ran 240V/60A service from breaker box inside to a junction box on the outside of house. Ran conduit underground and came up through the new concrete pad. Approx 37ft total length. Poured a 9.5ft x 12.5ft concrete pad to support 570 gallon hot tub. 5" of crushed rock, rebar, and 4" of concrete.
