+ -1 moreI was turned off by Barb. She immediately told me that a picture I had on the wall "that has to go". She was harried and overly fussy about color selection. I live in a small town house and it took her an hour to select colors! Just didn't like her snooty attitude. Her SAMPLES WERE EXCELLENT but overshadowed by her approach. Judging by her samples she has had alot of high-end clients. Perhaps they find her approach appealing. Her estimate was more than double two other estimates I received

+ -1 morePlease see above. All went as scheduled and Barb was prompt to return phone calls and come out as needed. She is not the least expensive person but she is a professional in this trade and her expertise is what you are paying for. She additionally gold-leafed the medallion in our Dining Room and that turned out beautifully. She painted the switch plate covers in our kitchen and they are EXACTLY the same color as the backsplash tile - I could never have done that in a million years. She takes a huge amount of pride in her work and really aspires to meet your expectations.
Description of Work: We just went through an extensive kitchen remodel. We wanted to have a textured plastered "old world" finish to our walls. Our contractor got us in touch with Barb. We called her, gave her the idea of what we were looking for (Tuscan kitchen), and set up an appointment. She arrived as scheduled, with many sample boards and pictures of her work at other locations. I instantly fell in love with one of her sample boards. She also worked around the schedule of our contractor's people, which was a huge asset. She always arrived when she said she would, and worked very efficiently when she was here. Because we both work, we were not always able to be here when she was at our house, and I felt completely OK with her here by herself. Upon completion, there were some items that turned out differently than what we anticipated, and she corrected them immediately. Barb just wanted us to be happy with the end result, and we truly were!!Highly recommend!!
