Werner Restoration Services was established in 1988 by Ken and Teresa Werner. Ken had several years of experience in restoration when he and his wife began working out of their home. What started as a small operation out of their home in 1988 has since grown into a multimillion dollar operation located in Colona, IL. Werner Restoration Services is the largest restoration company here in the Quad Cities, with over 35 full time employees, a 13,000 square foot climate controlled warehouse and the latest in restoration technology such as the Fireline Odell Electronics cleaning system and ultrasonic. We pride ourselves on being family owned, quality workmanship, and fair prices. We receive our business through word of mouth and we have a great reputation for being fair and honest. We are experienced in residential projects as well as commercial projects. We have performed services for banks, churches, fire departments, commercial buildings, restaurants, bars, daycares, and every type of residential property as well. Whatever the size of your disaster, rest assured that we can handle it all. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and we employ a staff that has a combined experience of over 150 years in the restoration industry. We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, we are active members with the Quad City Chamber and serve on a number of boards and organizations throughout our community. We are also an industry certified firm with the IICRC and a proud member of DKI (Disaster Kleenup International).

It was a very horrible experience. Very drawn out experience. For what it was it was okay in terms of pricing it's just the job they did was reprehensible. This was projected to be a five to six week project that turned into six months. They were here everyday, they were here early. I would not recommend them to anybody. They left several hundred pounds of drywall dust and muck and all the stuff all the construction materials in our vents. Yeah we had to have it professionally cleaned out and that was another $1800 right there.
Description of Work: We had a flood in April 2013 and we had the whole thing redone by Werner Restorations out in Colona and that's the only time we had an electrician come to the house besides the inspection. We basically had, our foundations kind of slanted so we kinda have a shallow end kinda have a deep end so there is one section of the house that was paid more attention to in terms of new boxes new conduit that sort of thing and it was a whole thing but as far as wall board and insulation the entire full rap two feet from the ground was done on the entire house. We had a full carpet, the entire house, minus kitchen which did have a new linoleum put down.

Description of Work: Had water damage from a pipe that froze and burst. Came in on a Saturday, cleaned everything out and dried all areas. Spent about 4 days in and out.

Description of Work: We had a fire in May of 2013. Werner was hired to clean and restore are home. I would say that all of it went well, there were times that we have liked to see them rebuilding when they weren't but in all fairness I would have to say went fairly well. There was significant damage and they said we would be in our home in about 6 months and we were. They were willing to work with us on some modifications and we now have a nice home to come home to. |I would of given them an A, however, there are two unfinished issues. First, some steps to the 2nd floor were damaged. They thought they had fixed them but damage still exists. Also,we questioned them about ridge vents and they have not addressed it. We haven't even signed off on the project because of these two issues. One other thing, they just pulled out when we moved and could have finished up more that they did.

Started May 2, 2011 and didn't complete until very late in September. Stole and or damaged several tables, and pieces of furniture (denied), stole a complete Wii setup including 4 DVDs and several other items. Under ordered wall paper and border so had to wait for rest, dragged out the project to 4 months while they concentrated on others who had ins and larger jobs. Prices way inflated. Would not give me an itemized ending statement, told me to use the estimate which didn't reflect it all. I didn't have them do some items on estimate and furnished a few things they needed (like insulation). The only breakdown they provided was carpeting, which was inflated by $500.00 ( additional labor) from the estimate received from Carpetland who did the job. NOT at all satisfied, Promised a rep to do final punch list and also a final inspection...did neither. I wouldn't recommend and will never use them ever again.
Description of Work: Removed furniture to store at neighbors. Finished packing up loose articles. Removed lower portion of walls, carpet etc and rebuilt and painted/wallpapered rooms, etc. before returning boxes and furniture to completed basement.

Still not complete...very poor overall !
Description of Work: This remodel has taken nearly a year. After fire in our condo building in early Feburary, they are still not done (10/27/2011) ! They don't return phone calls, show up whenever they want for how ever long they want...You'd be better off with someone else...Trust Me !!!!
