It turned out great.

Did excellent work. Had to wait quite some time before they were able to do the work. Had the estimate done around Memorial Day and they were not able to do to the work until late November. Parts were on back order and weather. Would have no problem asking Artemans to do more work on our house. Very professional and courteous.

The provider arranged to be at our home at a certain time to provide us with an estimate. The provider did not show up and did not call. The provider sent us a message on Angie's list 20 minutes after they were supposed to be at our home. I had cancelled plans to be home, and it was too late to engage in my precvious plans by the time I got the message.

It went smoothly when he was making the repair.

Arteman's construction was very knowledgeable in all areas of construction. We felt the pricing was fair and were very happy with the way things turned out. Would highly recommend them.

Called Arteman's on a rainy day in November, he happened to be available so he came right over. The other company had left our house with no front entry door, because they just replace doors. Arteman was a hero that day! He replaced the rotten beam under the threshold. He also noted that the tiled entry way was incorrectly installed (previous owner's DIYproject) and he removed the tile as it was sitting on water damaged particle board and interfering with the repair of the threshold. The company we bought our door from finished installing the door. We called Arteman's again, because there was a gap between where the door had been installed and where the stoop steps were, leaving his repair exposed. He came over, within a day or two and filled the gap with a some type of sealer. The area is not leaking and with this crazy winter we're so grateful for his good work. I do have a minor gripe though, we wanted him to install new tile for us since our landing now was just plywood since he had taken up the old tile. I went to the store he recommended to get tile, but none of the tile there appealed to me. I purchased tile at Lowes. When he saw the tile, he told us that he wouldn't be able to put it in for another three months. That seemed like a dodge to me. If he didn't want to put it in, I would have appreciated just a simple "no." But to be fair he had fit us into his schedule in an emergency and I'm grateful. Anyhow, I couldn't wait, because to paraphrase the Stark's, "Winter was Coming." I put it in myself, apparently our landing is homeowner DIY territory. All in all Arteman's was great to work with. Showed up when he said he would. Completed the job in a quick period of time. Charged appropriately.

I interviewed three contractors to do the remainder of my kitchen update. I had already had the floors and appliances replaced, but I needed to do something with the cabinets, countertops, and lighting. To reduce costs, I wanted to keep the existing cabinets. Two of the contractors recommended that I replace all the cabinets; Jeremy was the only one who was willing to work with me to keep and modify them. When I met with Jeremy to discuss what I wanted to do to the kitchen, he gave me good information on lighting options and how he could fix the issues I had with the existing cabinets. He removed the upper cabinets over the peninsula and the table height shelf attached to it, and extended the new countertop so I have a real breakfast bar now. He was able to salvage some wood from the old cabinets to fill in the gaps where the table-height shelf had been. He was also willing to remove the center panels on two cabinet doors so I could have glass panels put in them. Now I can see my Fiesta Ware and I love it! Even though it wasn't in the original work estimate, he was also willing to replace other light fixtures on the first floor so the finishes coordinated, and he replaced the fluorescent light fixture in my master bathroom with a pendant light. I think Jeremy did a great job - he was prompt, professional, friendly, and answered all of my questions. He told me up front how long it would take to do the work, kept the dust and dirt to a minimum, and finished on time. I felt that what he charged for the work he did was reasonable, and I would recommend him to anyone who asks.

My initial contact with Mr. Arteman was on 4/5/14 to schedule a quote for replacement of a storm door and some minor electrical work. Mr. Artement visited my house and promised me a quote on 4/8. I received a quote from on 4/22. This quote was reasonable. It did not contain a start date, however. On 5/12 Mr. Arteman finally sent me door styles to choose from and told me he would begin work on 6/21. I responded on 5/15 with the door style choice and restating that 6/21 would be a little later than I wanted, but acceptable (remember, original visit was 4/8). I waited for Mr. Arteman to begin work on 6/21. He did not show that day or the next week. No contact was received from him. On 6/30 I contacted Mr. Arteman regarding his no-show. On 7/1 he responded with a new work date of 7/26. This is 3.5 months after the original estimate, and the work has still not been started. I have cancelled with Mr. Arteman and am writing this review. I will now begin the process of trying to find a new contractor willing to actually perform the work for me. I am deeply disappointed in Mr. Arteman, his lack of responsiveness and willingness to do the work. This was not a big job. If he did not have time to do this work he simply should have told me from the outset and I would have chosen another person to do this work.

We were wanting to install a door but do to a death of my father we have put everything on hold. He was a great guy and very prompt and nice. I have heard alot of good things about his company but i felt like the price was a little high. Maybe in the future we will be able to use him and his company on a project.

Excellent! I was really impressed by the quality of the work done. The threshold work was very complicated and labor intensive, he did an excellent job. These upgraded thresholds will last far into the future. On another occasion I had Jeremy replace kitchen and bathroom sub floors which also went very well. He really does top quality work!

The owner was very professional and curteous. He took good notes and measurements regarding the work I was interested in having him quote. I had explained to him we were wanting to place our home on the market here in a few years and were trying to spruce things up a little at a time. He was knowledgeable enough to show us that our home would not meet the current electrical standards required in today's market. We would not have known this was something we needed to take care of had he not pointed it out to us. We will be having an update to our electrical connection to move us up to code. (Thank you!) I am still waiting for the quote, he indicated it might take about 2 weeks or so as he was busy and I had a lot of projects on my list. So far I am very pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

Jeremey was very professional and responsive to our time frame. The workmanship was high quality. I would definitely use this service again.

I have used them off and on over the years and they are excellent. They can pretty much do everything. Their pricing is very fair. Their attention to detail is very good and the quality of their work is very excellent. I can't say enough good thing for them.

Jeremy said he could do exactly what we wanted. He was very professional in his work and a perfectionist in the details on the job. When he was done the window matched perfectly and looks great. He cleaned up his mess each day. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone.

I called Jeremy (owner of the business) to replace a small piece of soffit which had a hole in it. He responded promptly and had the job done within a couple of days of my call. It was a very small job, but Jeremy didn't mind.
