I was very pleased with both jobs. He did exactly what I wanted and the cost was very reasonable.

Pete was the man who came to do the work. He was here on time. He removed the old grout and put in the new grout. It looked great! He also put grout in some areas that needed it even though I did not ask him to do anything extra. He also put grout along the tub line on the floor which needed it too.He was very personable and knew what he was doing. He also did a few things extra for me after he grouted and I was so grateful because I would have needed someone to come out and do it. He never charged me anything extra! Where do find someone like that now a days!! He gave me some ideas for future home improvements. I would definitely call him to come again. He does everything. I can't say enough about how happy I was with Pete and the quality of his work. Don't hesitate to call Upkeepers. They are the best!!!!

Vic is very experienced and he did a good job. He also ran some caulk around the sink, which was nice and came out real good.

They did what they promised with a professional handyman. Everything was done first class.

The first time the grout (that they asked me to provide) washed out--and they very willingly came back a second time. To be fair, our grout lines are thin and I was told that to dig the grout out would possibly chip the tile. If the grout isn't dug out the new repair doesn't stick. The second time, the installer used a caulk (which he provided), which wasn't optimal but better than nothing. Upon further review, I could have (and should have) probably done the same thing a lot cheaper than $80. The company was very responsive and the installer was very professional, courteous and tried hard to do a good job.

The President of UpKeepers summarized the project at its conclusion as he apologized for the work mistakes and said "we dropped the ball on this one!" The UpKeeper's contract language spells out penalties to the consumer if payments are not made on time or work conditions are improper, but offer no assurances or binding language if their workers make mistakes or work is late. The mistakes of the UpKeepers team included: * The job took two months longer than it was promised! * The heat mat installed in a bathroom floor was incorrectly wired. * New wall construction was not straight and had to be adjusted to install a counter top. * Some wall tiles were installed crooked. * Doorways were not correctly finished for doorway thresholds (had to be completed by outside company at owner's expense). * New laundry sink was coated with grout and required a special service call to clean it. * The grouting of both floor and wall tie was left smeared. As it was sealed, it required two outside companies to clean and re-hone the floor tile. An UpKeepers expert was going to use an acid wash to clean it (which was listed as damaging by the tile manufacture) and yet UpKeppers refused to pay the full cost of the cleaning by the outside companies. * Two of the three toilets were improperly installed. * The tile in the shower was improperly installed so water did not drain and the homeowner showered in deep puddles of water. * Drains were left clogged with grout. * Floor carpets in the house work area were improperly protected during the work.

Getting the appointment was a bit tricky, as they contract with sub-contrators. I called them and then they informed me that they would have someone contact me in week to schedule an appoinmnent. I was contacted by the sub to arrange the appointment. He called on his way to let me know he was coming, but was delayed by traffic. He showed up on time, did the work quicly. Cleaned up afterwards too. I would use them again in the future.

The tile in my shower was cleaned and the caulking was replaced. Jason did an excellent and most thorough job.

I purchased a Big Deal special thru Angie's List. I was called immediately by Upkeepers, and set-up an appointment. The technician Jason, arrived on time and went ot work. The job was minor, but done well - good work and clean-up. I've hd Upkeepers quote on some other jobs around the house, and they are coming back to weatherstrip and weatherporrf two drafty doors. Highly recommended.

Vendor called to set appointment promptly, arrived on date and time as agreed and did a very professional job. I would definitely recommend the vendor and use them again myself.

Jason did an excellent job. He arrived on time, removed old caulk, replaced it with new caulk in kitchen and bathroom areas. I would certainly recommend him.

Jason was very accommodating,professional and neat. While installing the new hardware that I had purchased, he was very kind in not telling me that my choice was not of the best quality. As he could not test it with new caulk that wasn't dry, he instructed me to call him back if there were any leaks. I wasn't satisfied with the quality of what I had purchased, so fortunately (I guess) it did leak and I had to have him return. He did so, without problems, on the same day. I had him remove the new purchase and re-install the old hardware. I will have him come back again when I make another purchase of a better quality item. He agreed with my decision, so it made me feel better. He was very understanding of the whole situation, polite and willing to work with me!! The fault was all mine so I appreciated his attitude and concern for getting the right solution for me. The caulking, which was the original reason for the visit, was done very well and looks great.

see above. will continue after talking with contractor OK ...I upgraded my opinion based on the fact that the handyman made a good effort to fix the problems he caused. Today is 10/31 the 2 hour job started on 10/13 is done. It wasn't pretty but it is done. Good points: the handyman always arrived on time and was respectfull...did what he could to repair what was damaged and to make me satisfied Bad points: made mistakes that caused me to suffer lost time and damage to property PS: Anyone can make a mistake...it is how they react to the mistake that can make a difference. His response moved my opinion from a F to a C. Had the mistakes never been made they would have received a C+

UpKeepers worked on my backyard shed that was in need of several repairs. The price was excellent, the work that was done by the two man crew was top notch .I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends - as a matter of fact, I am planning on having UpKeepers do more work around my home.

Our job went very well. I was very happy with the different contractors that came to our home. From the electrician to the tile guy, everyone was very professional and did great work. Our job manager planned our job so that it went very smoothly. They started in the bathroom. Gutted it in one day. Next day the tile guy retiled the shower and the floor. The cabinet guy installed the new cabinet and then the counter top guy came. Next day the plumber came and install the new sinks and the fixtures. The electrician came in and put up the mirrors and installed new electrical outlets and hung our light fixtures. The painter came in last and finished the job. We love our new updated bathroom.The kitchen went just as smoothly. We had the counter tops replaced with granite and we had a new island built and installed. We also had new appliances installed. I wanted to refinish our wood floors while we were getting all this work done and the owner of UpKeepers told me that he didn't think we needed to do that. He saved us some $$$ and my husband was very grateful!We were without use of the kitchen for only one day. That was a big plus with 4 kids who like to eat!

Upkeepers helped organize a contractor to come out to perform the work. The worker was beyond neat and clean. He did the job perfectly and took pride in his work. It was leveled, caulked and done to perfection. He was friendly, professional and very thorough. He kept us updated on the project. It was a pleasure working with them and I would use them again in the future.

From the initial consultation of the project, the associates were courteous, attentive and prompt. It was evident that they were customer focused and wanted the project(s) done to our total satisfaction.

As we expected, the outcome of this project was excellent. UpKeepers quickly managed the entire process and began coordinating the flow of activity within days. The shower base and glass doors were removed first. Since the doors were going to be reinstalled, they were very gently and carefully removed and placed in a spare bedroom. At the end of each day, the work site was cleaned and all tools and supplies were taken away. We were able to have use of all affected rooms during the project. The handyman, plumber, drywall and painting jobs were all scheduled very close together. Everyone showed up on time and the entire project was completed in less than a week. What sets this company apart from all others is its outstanding customer service. I have not found any company that comes close to this one. The service and quality of work performed is always excellent. This is a reliable, professional company. They always return your phone calls, and when the job is scheduled, they arrive on time. I enthusiastically recommend UpKeepers to my family and friends.

Two man crew very polite excellent repair work repairs completed in 6 hrs.

Upkeepers reponds quickly to phone call or website query, sends contract quickly, and upon receiving deposit sends out workers who phone first, come when promised, complete work, clean up. They are consistently conscientious and professional.

They do everything, they are a handyman service. We had to get 3 estimates for our insurance company and we found someone who was cheaper. They were kind of high on a few things. I would keep them in mind in the future if I had a need.
