It looks brand new; the young man who did the work did a fantastic job. The only thing I would say is that I thought they should have put my glass back into my door where they painted and did not its possible they would come back and fix it but I haven’t contacted them about it that be said said the work was well done.

I don’t recall any scheduling issues initially. My husband ended up fixing the leak.

They never returned my calls or replied back to my emails.

Everything was completely taken care of. I met Vic when he came out to do an estimate and understood the issue right away. He took care of the issue another day while I was away at work and left everything in order, and locked up the house when he left. The new trim and weather stripping look perfect.

Everything went perfectly. He was very professional.

We are THRILLED with the work Viktor did at on our deck. The guys were extremely thorough and the deck looks terrific. I can't believe it took me TWO YEARS to find a workman willing to take on the job -- there is nobody in the Chicago area familiar with bull wire fences. Neither was Viktor, but he was brave enough to plunge in and figure it out. The results are absolutely wonderful.

He was fantastic. We’ve used him since for larger projects. We have a really good working relationship with him.

pretty bad, he was really late and had a very bad attitude. he did call. he was unprofessional. He was upset because he did not want to clean my kitchen grout. He did however go and get the right color caulk after I got the wrong one. not sure of the date he came. not a good experience

I contacted them for an estimate for repair to a hole in the fascia above the roof. Had heard about them on WGN radio. They asked that I submit a photo of the damage which I did. They did not come out. Sent an estimate that was higher than the company we contracted. Would not recommend them.

Very happy with the final job. Windows look great and they were done and cleaned up in a few hours. I appreciated being able to get a quote by submitting pictures via email. Also, the guys doing the work came out in advance and took pictures so they could have materials purchased, cut, primed, and ready to go. Downsides- too long from first contact to getting the work done. Over a month to get the work estimated, scheduled, and completed. I had to return the signed contract via snail mail before they could schedule which added a day or two and then it was like another week until I heard back. I would use them again, but maybe not for something I want a quick turnaround on.

Excellent, the girl in the office is outstanding, the owner of UpKeepers actually lives in our neighborhood but he's right there on the spot, he does what he says on his ad, on the radio, he does show up on time and he shows up quickly, they're courteous. Its very nice.

They did what I wanted them to do. They did a good job and it was fine. It was also reasonable and it was kind of a small job. He was here on time and very responsive.

They were able to come to our home quickly. They provided a contract for the full price ahead of the job so that there wouldn't be any surprises. The price turned out to be a bit expensive for what they actually needed to do, which only took about 30 minutes. But they did a good job and I would use them again.

I called Tom Molidor at Upkeepers on an emergency basis to shore up a porch roof on our home in preparation for tear out and replacement of the concrete slab porch beneath. The emergency was that the concrete contractor's related carpenter had allowed his structural insurance to lapse, and concrete work was due to begin 4 days later. As we had just come out of one of the longest coldest winters on record, all trades are desperately busy trying to make up for lost business and fulfill prior commitments delayed by weather. Not only weather was in my way. It was the friday of Easter weekend. Therefore, finding any tradesman to do work with days advance notice is nearly impossible. I offered to help our concrete contractor in his search. I am glad I did, because I have found a handyman/jack of all trades contract crew that I will certainly use for future work. The Upkeepers porch expert Victor came to my house the following morning to look at the project. While we considered shoring up the existing roof, I asked about an idea that I had about reducing and changing the profile of the porch to more appropriately match the architecture of the home, and to improve the overall look. Victor walked through each of the options and explained his opinion of the architectural, aesthetic, and financial implications of each. Tom called me shortly after Victor's departure and explained that he would email me an estimate with both the shoring up project and the complete demolition of porch structure to allow me to choose the route to follow. This estimate arrived on Saturday eveing of Easter Weekend! Tom also stated that he could complete either option immediately the next week. I opted to have the porch removed, and explained that I wanted to salvage the original wood columns for use on any new structure I replace. Victor arrived on Tuesday morning (as he had to arrange dumpster delivery and haul-out) at 8:00 am as I was headed out for the day. I reminded Victor about salvaging the columns and left it in his hands. I returned at 5:00 and found the porch gone, and not a single sign of the work that had been done to make it disappear. Not dust, not debris, no nails, screws, pieces of roofing, no scrapes on the street or driveway from the dumpster, NOTHING. It was a shocklingly clean worksite. My columns were stacked against the side of the house safe and sound. Cleanliness alone speaks to the professionalism of the Upkeepers crew. I already have plans for some more projects for Upkeepers once my ever evolving porch project is complete. Thanks for a terrific job and a strong customer service ethic.

They cleaned and sanitize our basement after a flood. Their price was significantly less than service master. However a week had passed after I paid them the deposit and they had not scheduled a appointment with me. It was Almost 2 weeks by the time they came out. When I spoke to the owner he said he could not help me and needed to wait until his secretary got back the following day.I thought that was so rude. The quality was good the price was good the professional was lacking.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was fine. I tried to contact him for some follow up work, and he wasn't very responsive for that, but I think he had moved. I have not used him before. I referred him to my mother, and she used him. He had indicated that he would do more work for her, but we tried contacting him, and he did not respond. The price was fair.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out well. They came and did what they were supposed to do. Everything was good.

Service was great - contacted us right away to schedule. We needed our bathroom tub caulked (again) and I was tired of doing it myself. They did a great job/looks wonderful and kept the area nice and clean.

He tried to clean grout on the day he was here. It was fair, but he said he'd be back on Monday (this was a Friday) & never showed. I called once with no response, so I just let it go. I'm not sure of the date he was here - I just guessed above.

Work was done at my mother's house. They were very punctual, friendly and professional. Gave her tips for maintenance. We would use them again.

Floor tile was cracking for the second time in less than 3 years after the bathroom was remodeled. The first repair job was completed by the initial contractor. We decided to have a ceramic tile expert look at it when it began to crack again. Up keepers discovered that the problem was the floor drain which had not been replaced when the bathroom was initially done and the shower changed from shower stall to ceramic shower. They had to remove some of the surrounding wall tile inside and outside the shower. After they discovered we did not have any of the previous tile and were not able to obtain it, they took the time to match our tile as closely as possible, even bringing samples for us to choose from. They sent a plumber over right away to change the floor drain and the work was completed. They even lowered the lip of the doorway and made the shower look better than when they began. The workmen as well as the owner and the office coordinator were all very professional and kept us informed of the entire process. We will be using them again when needed.
