Description of Work: We worked with Mike several times over the years. Very fair with his inspections. Not a deal killer or out just a CYA. The laws for Home Inspection have changed greatly over the years. Most inspectors like to "pass the buck". Example for most inspectors: That's a furnace, it's 12 years old, hire a licensed Heating contractor to look at it. This home's roof is about 10 years old, keep the gutters clean and have it looked at by a licensed roofing contractor...

+ -1 moreMICHAEL PERFORMED OUR HOME INSPECTION. HE DID POINT OUT THAT WE HAD A SMALL AMOUNT OF ASBESTOS TILE IN A UTILITY ROOM IN THE BASEMENT. HE FAILED TO TELL US THAT IT WAS PROBABLY UNDERNEATH THE CARPET IN THE BASEMENT AS WELL. HE COULD NOT HAVE KNOWN FOR SURE, BUT HE COULD HAVE AT LEAST VENTURED A GUESS, AND TOLD US SO. THE WHOLE BASEMENT FLOOR WAS COVERED IN ASBESTOS TILE, WHICH WE HAD TO PAY TO REMOVE.
Description of Work: HOME INSPECTION BEFORE PURCHASE.
