CASEY'S HARDWOOD FLOORING

Casey was amazing, he was able to give us an estimate earlier than any other contractor. He came recommended from a friend and was excellent. He also finished early!

Casey was great, professional, and did great work. We had a few little challenges before he was able to begin, but Casey was accommodating and willing to work with the challenges. (My building required that he submit a host of forms and insurance coverage information that delayed my install by a few days.) He was able to push back the install date and still get everything completed quickly. He also came a few days before the install to drop off the wood and materials so that the wood could acclimate to my environment. The floor in my second room looks better than the rest of my flooring. I did notice that the coloring was one shade lighter but he indicated that it will darken a little over time. While it's noticeable to me, I've shown it to a few friends who all said it looks great and they didn't notice the color variation. My only complaint, when he first came to look at everything he gave me one estimate. When he came back to confirm everything he indicated that he had to charge me a little more. Considering the amount wasn't significant and did not impact my budget, I was willing to pay the additional amount. But it was a little bit of a surprise. I guess they call it and quot;estimateand quot; for a reason! When i'm ready to have all of my floors refinished I'll be calling Casey again.

Casey repatied and refinished a floor in one of my rooms that had been damaged by a water problem through one of our windows. He was prompt, professional, and gave me some good advice on what finish to use vs. what others had suggested in the past. We have hardwood floors throughout the house so the stain needed to match... and it did, perfectly. I would highly recommend Casey!

The whole experience was excellent. Casey was prompt in returning my phone calls and was able to start immediately. His crew were experts in fixing/replacing the broken floor boards and refinishing the vintage floors (that were already thin from having been refinished several times previously) so that they look brand new. Casey was always very polite and on his own time he even painted example floor boards the color that I was interested in so that I had a better idea of what it would look like (as opposed to just the tiny paint chip). I am very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend him to anyone.

He did a great job. Only issue had to do with the type of top coat to be used - we wanted water based and he seemed to want to do oil based - but he eventually bought the product we wanted that was quite a bit more costly to him and he didn't try to have us pay the difference; He did the work with two other workers over the course of 5-1/2 days. We stayed at a friend's house most of the nights but checked in with him each morning. His facility with the English language is not the best so you just have to make sure you are on the same page with regard to communication. He is very polite, respectful and conscientious. We were very pleased with the end result.

They had to replace a couple of planks once the carpet was removed. They were on time if not early everyday - estimate and work. I gave them a key to the house and they were very respectful of our property while in the house. It's a smaller operation and we dealt directly with Casey, which was nice.
