+ -1 moreI was told they would not perform the work I asked for without seeing the detailed information from my insurance company. When I told them that I had the check and they would be working for ME doing what I asked them to do and NOT the insurance company, they said they could not help me without seeing what the insurance company had written. They were very nice until that point. . . .and suddenly their whole attitude changed. I simply can't trust a company that operates that way.

+ -1 moreThey were good. It was really nice. I felt like they were very professional and they finished the work pretty much on time. There was something a little bit out of their control but they didn't draw it out forever. They are hard workers. I spent over $20,000 but it was worth it because they made it livable. I thought it was high but I felt like if I would have gotten it for less, I wouldn't have gotten the results I got. When you think about the quality, sometimes you just have to spend.

+ 3 moreThe job went very smooth. Marty and Mike were extremely professional and polite from the beginning, which I DID NOT get from other contractors when looking for someone to do this job. They were here every morning right on time and did not skip any days of work. Thier price for the labor was more than fair. We spent more than expected because we kind of went nuts in the bath and plumbing supply store. Marty and Mike took time to meet us at the bath supply store to go over everything we were going to need to get the job finished. They did this at No Cost to us.
Description of Work: Marty and Mike remodeled our 25 year old bathroom. It was pretty much gutted and redone. The bath tub and old tile were removed, dry wall removed down to the studs. We had a new ceramic shower installed, on the floor and to the ceiling. All the old plumbing was redone and the drain moved to the center of the shower floor. Old nasty bathroom floor done over with ceramic tile, new toilet, new cabinet, vanity, mirrors, lighting fixtures, and the exhaust fan was moved to the proper location over the shower. Marty did a lot of electrical rewiring and went up into the attic to make sure the exhaust fan was vented properly, which it was not before. The plumbing for the 2 sinks was redone. Walls primed and painted.

+ 0 moreThe job went good overall. They work with the customers and let them pick their choice of sink and tub. They give suggestions, but you decide what you want and what to spend. They work with your budget. You can go to their actual supplier and pick out what your needs are. Marty and Mike, they have both in business for years. They have good expertise and give good suggestions. They can be a little bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. They explain when they would be able to get in there to the job. I have known them for years.
Description of Work: M & M Construction remodeled our bathroom about two years ago and did a porch on another house last summer.

Description of Work: I received an estimate for putting a washer and a dryer in our bathroom which involved moving the plumbing and tearing up the entire room.

+ 10 moreMarty and his partner Mike did almost everything themselves and were here early in the morning everyday. The only thing they needed others for was to rip out the old cabinets and install the new floor. What a treat not to have to deal with all sorts of workers in our house! They left the house in good shape everyday and did everything to make sure we were happy with their work and we were.
Description of Work: They remodeled our kitchen, removed all existing walls and put up new walls, put in all new electric and plumbing and a wood floor. (Our house is almost a hundred years old). They also installed cabinets, molding around the ceiling, sink and faucet, fixtures, new appliances. The only thing they didn't install were the countertops. They painted the kitchen when they were through. They also did a lot of other projects while they were here- washed and sealed our deck, installed a new washtub and faucet in the basement, fixed our screen door, opened our basement wall to help us with a leak in the basement and then painted it. (These projects weren't included in the cost)

+ 5 moreThey took out the old fixtures and took out the old walls and floor. Put in new dry wall and fixtures. Checked and fixed any leaks. Installed new fixtures, tile for both walls and floor. Finished dry wall and primed and painted walls that were not tiled.
Description of Work: Remodeled lower level bathroom with all new fixtures. Did a great job. Very professional.
