Economy Fence Inc

The process went very well. This was a recently purchased home and the back portion of the fence was removed at some point so I wanted to have it replaced so that patio would have some privacy. Rich came out to measure and provide suggestions on the type of fence that would fit in with the existing fence. I selected from the options provided and Economy Fence came back out to install the posts. They returned a short time later to install the fence and it looks great. You can tell that it is newer than the rest of the fence but it looks very similar. The process went smoothly and I did not have any issues. It was easy to communicate with Rich and he was always available for questions. I would recommend Economy Fence and plan to have them come out to replace the rest of the existing fence in the near future.

Rich was very prompt with an estimate and in completing the job. Both our A/C condenser and our neighbor's are close to the fence, requiring ventilation at two points. Rich worked hard to design the fence to allow the ventilation (several sections of brown chain link) integrated with the cedar fence---it looks great and is very funtional!

After this project was completed, I was having several problems with the end result. I called the company to come back out and address the issues. They came out and took pictures, but accused my husband of altering the fence after the completion and said this issue was "null and void". After that meeting they stopped responding to any of my calls. I contacted the Attorney General's office regarding this company and I was informed that I would have to go to small claims court to get this resolved. I still have several problems with my fence today. All three of the gates hardly close, several of the fence posts were not dug deep enough and are now loose and all of the wood is rotting.

, We needed a fence installed at our new house. We read the reviews of Economy fence and called them for an estimate. Rich came to the house and measured the yard for the fence. He arrived right on time and was able to give us a written estimate at that time. We discussed several options with him and he was patient with us while we decided on the style and height of the fence. When Rich came to do the installation he walked the property with me to make sure he knew exactly how we wanted the fence done. The installation was done quicker than I expected which made us happy. Economy Fence encountered a challenge when installing some of the poles. They successfully installed the poles and did not charge us extra because of the problem they encountered. The fence quality is excellent and is exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a fence installed.

Before contacting Economy Fence, my neighbor and husband had used wooden boards to support the fence so it would stand up. Economy Fencing told my husband they would remove those boards and reinforce the fence to ensure it didn't fall again. However, my husband wasn't home when the work was done - I was and I wasn't aware of the prior conversation. While they did reinforce our fence, they didn't remove the ugly wooden boards that we'd put up as a temporary solution. However, we never followed up with the company to give them a chance to correct the issue. I think it's important that viewers are aware of that fact.

These guys are great! Rich was friendly and professional. I was given a two-hour window for when they'd show up. They called me earlier that morning to give me a more exact time when they'd arrive, in the middle of the range they'd given before. This wasn't just an "I'm on my way" call - they called more than an hour in advance, once they knew how long it would take to complete what they were working on. This allowed me to run a quick errand before they arrived rather than being stuck waiting for them. When the neighbor I share the fence with requested a change in plans, I contacted Rich to let him know about the change. He was extremely understanding and accommodating. He even made a special trip just to put extra caps on several fence posts another company had installed without them. They took care of it even though they didn't have to! The overall fence looks much better now that all of the posts look the same. I'm very happy with the work Economy Fence did for us, and will gladly hire them again in the future. They were a pleasure to work with.

Contractor performed very professionally: prompt response, clear estimate, scheduled for prompt completion, excellent material and workmanship.

Overall, the service was great and, when the adjacent trellis top fell over a week later and we called back to ask if it could be fixed, Economy had no problem coming out and completing the repair at no additional charge. The reason for downgrading price a bit is that--with the Big Deal valued at a normal price of $250--it's really hard to know if we got our monies worth. Rich did everything we asked. However, there is a bottom board on the alley side where the first trellis repair was made that needs to be hammered back on. We did't ask for this and--while we got what we asked for-- I think it would have been better to have had a full professional review of everything that needed to be done made by Economy, then understood if it could all be covered by the Deal, and worked from there. Still, I found them good, honest and reliable and would definitely recommend them to others.

Excellent. When I called Rich out for an estimate, he came out to our home and measured for the the fence, asked me questions as to what I wanted, and offered suggestions when I asked him for advice. His estimate was fair and his measurements of the fence along the property line were accurate. After I hired him, he contacted Julie. As soon as Julie gave the all clear, Economy Fence was out to dig the holes. They then contacted the village inspector as is required in our village...the inspector set up a time to meet them for inspection of the holes. We passed inspection and Rich and his men set the posts. They came back a couple of days later to install the fence. They were always at my house when they said they would be, they were very professional in their work and demeanor, and the fence is exactly what we wanted. They matched the 5 foot Cedar fence in design that we had wanted to match. Their work can be be described as high quality craftsmen. My husband and I are very happy that I hired them.

We had a long wait for a permit. We were informed on when it would start, finish and what our expectations would be. It went very well, the fence is lovely. They were great.

Timely repair of storm damage to the fence was important so that I could let my dog out into the yard. A visit was scheduled quickly to assess the repair process, and the work was completed within a few days after that. The quality of the repair work seems excellent, but I was particularly appreciative regarding the quick response to my initial call.

They were very prompt in responding to my inquiry, scheduling the work, and getting it done. They were very tidy as far as cleaning up after themselves and taking away any debris. They took appropriate steps to prevent further damage from boards that were already damaged.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the quality and look of our new cedar fence. The wood is beautiful, and we could not have asked for a better product. The service we received was excellent. The process was easy and painless. I would highly recommend Rich and his team to others looking for a quality backyard fence. Rich with Economy Fence was very easy to work with. Due to my work schedule I wasn't able to meet Rich on site and explained what I needed over the phone. Rich provided a clear written quote, and after doing price checking with other providers, we moved forward with Economy Fence. Rich called about a week out and provided a start date and his crew promptly arrived on the promised date. I finally met Rich in person the morning they were to start, went over about three minutes worth of questions, and when I returned home in the evening the fence was complete and everything cleaned up. I've installed fencing myself in the past, just didn't have time for this project. The quality was great and very pleased with the project overall.

They were fantastic. They came when they said they would. They gave me an estimate. He back out to repair the fence. I couldn't ask for a more polite young man. They had the best price out of 4 different companies. I couldn't ask for better.

Economy fence was very professional from the beginning to end. Came on a weekend for an estimate and were able to schedule very quickly. Helped us with the design and explained our options along the way when minor issues came up. Price was reasonable as well and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Rich from Economy Fence was the only one willing to come out and give me a quote on repairing my fence. I contacted four other companys on Angie's list and they either didn't call back or wouldn't give me a quote for a repair. They were only interested in replacing my whole fence. Rich is going to get my business in the future. He is very knowledgeable.

We didn't end up using them. They were prompt to come out to give me an estimate. I liked their courtesy and professionalism.

The experience started with my call to their offices where I was told that 'Rich has tried to call you several times' - although my son was home all day the day he would have called and reported no calls and there were no messages on the recorder. When Rich called me, he again upbraded me for the fact he couldn't reach me after I purchased the 'Big Deal'. He was not willing to put off the site visit to a more convenient time for me and insisted on coming on Friday evening - so I accommodated him out of our family time. He suggested some solutions to the problems with the gates that seemed acceptable. He wanted to schedule the adjustment for the next day (Saturday) when his crews were in the area - not convenient for me but I again agreed to accommodate him. Instead of showing up early as his morning phone message stated, they came at 2 pm. The crew boss (?Jose/Juan) made it plain that he was not impressed with the solutions that Rich had suggested. After discussion, he and I agreed to solutions. When I retured to inspect the garage gate by the garage, I found that the latch had been remounted but not as we had agreed. Instead of moving the latch over 3/4", he had first drilled holes (apparently without measuring) that were beyond the latch that were too far for the latch to work, one of which was not covered by the latch and was now showing as a fresh cut. In addition, he moved the latch down so that the old holes were also showing - so now there are three holes showing in the gate. I asked him if he intended to fill the holes to which he replied he could only put in shim as he was doing on the second gate. While the gate is nothing fancy and now works a bit better than before, the quality of the workmanship was shoddy and I said so. He took offense, marched off to the other gate that they had taken off the fence posts and said he'd remount it without doing the work we agreed to and that I could talk to Rich. Rich came out and again stressed how happy his customers are with his work, made excuses for the extra holes, and I confirmed that I did not wish to have this crew on my property again. I have received a full refund from Angie's List and would never use this company again. Rich seemed much more interested in promoting their reputation than in making it, doing quality work or keeping this customer happy.

My neighbor was replacing some parts of their fence that got damaged due to a flood we had last summer and recommended that I use the same company they did; economy fence, since I had more damage and was thinking of replacing myself. I called the company the next day and spoke with someone to tell them my situation and what I was looking for. We scheduled an appointment date for an estimate and the owner came out to look at the property and the damage left from the flood.The following day I called other companies to compare prices and get estimates and economy fence was the most affordable and were the only ones willing to come to my house and give me an estimate that wasn't over the phone.I called them back to hire them for the job and we scheduled a day in the upcoming week to do it. They called me to let me know when they were on their way and how things were going when they were done for the day. The owner came while the job was being done to check on the progress and to greet me. The owner was very nice and the crew was very good, they just focused on getting the job done right. I was very pleased with the out come of the job the fence was beautiful and very sturdy, the crew was prompt and professional,and the owner was very involved with the job. It was a very good experience and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to avoid any hassle and are just looking for a beautiful good quality fence at an affordable price.
