I had some work done with them about five years ago, $15000. When I recently got water in basement do to a heavy rain I decided to call them to see if they could give me some options to help fix this. At the time the person on the phone was very disrespectful and basically told me to go somewhere else. I wasn’t looking for any handouts, I just wanted to find some solutions to my problem. No thanks Just received call from owner and told him what was going on and he was argumentative towards me, I hung up. I will find someone else to help with my problem.

The work was done when they said it would be done. Completed very professionally and we have had several heavy rains since then with no sewer backup in our basement in Chicago.

I left a voice message to request an appointment for basement seepage evaluation. I greatly appreciated that someone called me back the same day. The person who called me back requested pictures of the basement cracks before setting up an appointment. I felt that the request to email them pictures was unprofessional. No other contractor I have ever contacted has made such request. I decided not to pursue trying to set up an appointment.

They checked our flood control system and said we basically needed an entirely new system which would cost around 4500. I then asked him not to check the septic tank because of the sticker shock. He said we could just replace the motor for the pump, but he greatly discouraged it. We definitely were not excited about this news and got another estimate from another company and went with them.

They were fast, thorough, and informative. The price was completely fair. They maintained cleanliness around the work area. They checked the catch basin as well, indicating that it was clean, possibly because all the grease was trapped in the pipes.

It went great, just like it did at our rental property that we have. They provide quality service, and most importantly a peace of mind knowing that your basement is protected. Angelica is the best, originally I was scheduled to have the system installed in march but I called her to move it to February and she made it happen right away. We've had 2 big storms since the sytem was installed and havent had any issues. If you really want your basement flooding issues resolved Xpert is the company to call.

Exceptional. Unbelievably neat. Could not tell they were there when completed. To instal you need to excavate and trench. You can not tell they were there. Equally neat and professional in electrical interface to electrical Box in finished basement.

There was a little bit of a delay in scheduling due to weather, but overall everything went great. Price was competitive, work was done all up to code and with permits, and communication was very good throughout. Our yard required lots of digging through large tree roots and I suspect the job took a bit more than they expected, but there was no additional charge.

Very well, the personnel were friendly and the system was installed in 5 days. I was worried about having to take off work during the project but they worked around my schedule so I didn't miss any time.

They had a good solution for what we wanted done. The sales man was a good guy. I didn't feel like he was handing me a line. They also fixed three cracks in the basement wall. A month or two after we had a little bit of water from a port they installed. They came right out and fixed the issue.

My Bucktown home flooded badly like so many in the area back in July 2014. At the time, I had several estimates and contractors come out to assess my situation. They were also very competitively priced. • Follow up is excellent to ensure everything is working well and to my satisfaction • They go the extra mile. My fragile grass didn't recover as expected after the system was installed. And while this wasn't Xpert's fault or responsibility to rectify, they proactively took action to re-seed my entire lawn and add protective netting to help me nurture new growth in the yard. We had Xpert install flood control after ongoing water issues in our basement. Angelica came out for an estimate two days after we called, and clearly explained the work that would be done and answered all of our questions. Work began just a few weeks later, and Miguel and Gabriel were wonderful! Miguel explained the work throughout, and went above and beyond what we expected.

We had a problem with water accumulating outside of our basement door and subsequently flooding the bottom floor when it rained heavily. Xpert staff responded very quickly to my request for an estimate. Patrick (owner) came out to my house within a very reasonable time frame, diagnosed the problem quickly, and discussed my options in depth. He gave quotes for two different troff drain options and explained the differences and advantages of each. Once the work began, they of course found problems under the existing cement (from previous work prior to us owning the house). Patrick came over to personally show me the issues and explain what his team would be doing to fix it, step by step. The Xpert team came up with a plan to repair the damage that had been done previously, and to even work in a secondary drainage route to cover all scenarios. They spent a lot of extra time and care, and never charged us any more than the original quote and contract amount. Patrick followed up afterwards with recommendations for testing the system (it worked great), and seemed like he would be available for any future questions or concerns. His team was also very friendly and hardworking.

Our experience with Patrick at Xpert began with the installation of a flood control system and finished with a complete sewer line replacement inside my home. My wife and I had significant anxiety each time it rained heavily. Even the threat of heavy rain weighed on us and we couldn't even sleep, take a vacation without worrying. In 2014 we flooded 3 times and that was the trigger. I am a bit of a perfectionist researching flood control systems from multiple contractors. It was a simple decision and the bottom line was that the system used by Xpert is simply a superior design (in my opinion). The typical dual check valve system employed by others are potentially flawed b/c, in the rest position, the valve covers hang in "nearly closed position" & items can get snagged/stuck preventing valve closure. Other contractors told me that. Xpert's system has one check valve in the open position until the valve is forced closed by a flooding action in the chamber. I haven't flooded in my 1st year and I probably would have multiple times. Multiple references spoke highly of them and system. They're timely, responsive, less expensive and IT WORKS!

We had some minor flooding issues in our basement. When put the house on the market we had to disclose the previous flood issues, so we decided to install the flood control system to prevent any future issues and to give the buyer piece of mind. We gave them a deposit, and got scheduled for a few weeks later. They pulled the permit, and showed up when scheduled, they hand-dug the hole and completed everything as they said, no surprises, no extra charges, they even came back a week later and fixed the lawn with sod. Very professional, very clean. It was a big plus in the sale, and prevented our basement from taking on water before we sold the house. I should have hired them right after we moved in, instead of waiting so long.

The pump that was installed was from a bad lot and unfortunately our basement flooded with a big rain before the pump recall was in effect. However, XPERT replaced the pump without charge and the system has been fine ever since.

They gave a detailed explanation of what they were going to do. They installed a vault under the lawn which included a back flow valve and an ejector pump. I had the property on the market and they specified that the warranty was transferable to the new owner. They were unable to do the work as quickly as first discussed due to weather but they kept contact with me and let me know as soon as they could do the work. I was satisfied with their response to any inquiries I made.

I used Xpert Flood Control. I used them last month. I had a flood control system installed. The work was fine. They were slow. I was in the list for like 3 months. They were really nice. Once they got there I think they were okay. The charge was 7800 dollars. Their price was on par with the other people I checked. The quality is so far so good. I will use this provider in the future.
