Two young men did STELLAR job. Neat, thorough, excellent work. They went above and beyond. Were careful and respectful. Would absolutely rehire them.

I was VERY pleased. By the time 1h30 were up, I had absolutely nothing left for them to do. They also came on a Saturday, which I always really appreciate.

My neighbor's said they weren't very efficient. They said one person could have done the job. Have to hire someone else to pull the weeds. Not worth it. Do not recommend.

They were very prompt in delivering and spreading the mulch. Was done within a couple of days.

Mr. Welt was very responsive, returning my call within ten minutes, and we set up a time for his workers to come the following day. We communicated via phone, text, and email. He offered two workers for one hour at a rate of $90. When we spoke on the phone, I suggested scheduling for more than one hour, and he explained to me that he wanted to be careful not to overwork his employees. The workers arrived the next day, 20 minutes late (at 10:20 am), and said they would work for one hour. They went out to the yard, then returned only a few minutes later saying they couldn't work because they had to leave to get supplies for a job they had at 1:00. It was confusing and frustrating, especially since the work that needed to be done didn't seem particularly strenuous to me (mostly edging, weeding, and trimming), which was not new information at that point. No work was completed. I also feel obligated to mention that during our phone conversation, Mr. Welt made some racist comments about Chinese and African-American people which made me very uncomfortable. I subsequently emailed him and told him so, and that we would not be using his services. He followed up with a crazed, rambling email in which he doubled-down on and attempted to defend his racist position, and attempted to blame black people for many of society's ills. He still seemed hopeful that I would schedule work with him after that. I won't. I did not reply to the email, and he did not contact me again. I hope this type of racist hate speech is a dealbreaker for others, and I hope that Angie's List looks into the matter. Super Service? I don't think so. Anyway I do not discriminate you, on the contrary I understand your position, I know that this is the policy and mass media and pressure of the society. and I would be fine with me if it would not cost me, one day I met a lady with 15 children, guess color? all of them were taken away and this lady and new adoptive parents got state support, the money does not comes from the air. a simple proof that the money somehow and in hidden way disappears is following: in the fifties and sixties a decent working man and woman could support 5 children without state support. Now it is impossible, rent, income taxes, property taxes, university tuitions everything because so expensive. and it suppose to be more and more easy. the efficiency grows, computers, transportation , information access is better then in the past. Last year I paid 20k in income taxes, the total value of sale tax on my expensese was 10% x 300.000 = 30k so a total of 50k has been taken away from me. and I did not pay the property tax from which the streets, schools are supported. Simple working people like me are afraid of going on the street and stop it but try to stop the food stamps, section 8, we would get riots on the street I guarantee. Amanda, I really understand why you do not like my talk, I represented the same position for years. SO whenever you will need us just email me back, the April is a time when we collect our old customers and my guys took a decision to get on time to the old client. knowing the situation I emailed you that we want to come Friday. so just let me know when you will need me and we will fit you into the schedule somehow. and relax, my logic in unbreakable. They did not complete the job because they said the work was too hard and the guys were too "gentle" (quote from owner). The work was not hard or "impossible" as the owner insisted, in fact I was able to complete the rest of the work in four hours and I am a 5 ft 2 woman! The experience was all the more outrageous because I talked to the owner before starting the job and outlined what the work was--to dig 1-2 inches into my back parking pad (gravel and dirt) and move the content into a garden. First I requested 1 person for 4 hours per deal terms but the owner said his guys only worked in pairs. After going back and forth a few times on the issue--I conceded that two people would be okay. The owner reassured me that his guys were smart and strong and capable of doing the work. On the day of job, his guys were 30 minutes late and I had to call in order to get an update. Two guys arrived to the job and one started to call his boss 10 minutes into the job. They spoke in a foreign language and I did not understand content of conversation but I did know that this meant only one of the guys was working. About 20 minutes in, I left for 10 minutes. When I came back (about 30 minutes into the job) the second guy was still on the phone and said the owner needed to talk to me. On the phone, the owner proceeded to tell me that the job was too hard--impossible--and his guys were too gentle and had to work other jobs after. He said they were landscapers and digging dirt is not landscaping work. He demanded that they be able to take breaks whenever they wanted for however long that they needed, that I pay for the time of their breaks, or else they would leave the job. I was flabbergasted and despite trying to reason that the job is reasonable--yes it is work but that is why I am paying his workers to do it--the owner threatened that his guys would get angry and leave. At this point, I stopped reasoning with him and just said he should do what he needs to do and I will do what I need to do. His guys left an hour into the job and completed about 1/3 of the work, even when one person was on the phone for about half the time. They would have likely finished the job if they had just worked as was their job instead of complain that they are too valuable for the work.

Went well after the details for product and delivery got worked out.

Two fellows showed up when scheduled and did the work and cleaned up within two hours.

Very happy with the services. I used Welts to cut back some shrubs surrounding the house as well as to do some clean up of the front. They did an excellent job, listened to what I wanted and followed through with everything i asked for. The work was literally done within 24 hours of my contacting them. Communication was easy - phone and email - and the crew was personable and polite and very easy to deal with. Price was very competitive. I was quite satisfied andI will definitely use them again. Five stars.

These guys were good. Looked over the job the next day to see what I wanted and finished the day after. They did a great job!

Scheduling was easy via email. Workers showed up about 35 minutes late due to miscommunication regarding the work and what was included in the deal. However, they performed the job well and I would work with them again.

It worked out well. They were prompt, efficient and did a good job at the yard clean-up that I hired them to do.

Moritz called to tell me when the crew was coming; they were right on time, courteous and efficient.

Once we set up the time, the crew arrived and completed the work with no questions and in good time.

They sent 2 people to work on preparing the yard for fall. They did an excellent job. yard looks clean. The trimmings from pruning the shrubs and trees were picked up. My yard looked 100% better after they were done
