VELEZ FENCES

I was very disappointed in my experience with Velez Fences. Mr. Velez came out and provided us with an estimate to install two gates for our yard, one for the front and one for the back. We selected Mr. Velez from a number of different services because his prices were competitive and he seemed responsive to our inquiries. We made an appointment for Velez Fences to come to our house on a Wednesday morning with the understanding that the work would be completed by that Friday. We had a long discussion with him over the phone about the need to provide our own locks so they would be keyed the same as our other locks and were prepared to purchase the gate locks ourselves. On the Wednesday morning he was supposed to start the work, he did not call or show up. Repeated calls to him were not returned. We were given no explanation of why the work was not performed. Now we have no fences and we need to start looking for another company to do this work. This has cost us a great deal of time and effort, since now we have to basically start over. I would not recommend working with Velez Fences, because this company is unreliable.

There was a little misunderstanding about the color, but it was corrected without trouble. The fence was installed and welded beautifully. The fence is a style not seen anywhere else and I have had several complements on the beauty of the fence and work. My neighbor asked for information on the company. People who have seen the fence and workmanship thought I paid a lot more!
