Responded to sat afternoon, holiday weekend, call within 10 minutes and at home within 30 as promised. Quickly diagnosed and fixed problem while also providing education about basic locks, quality, options and choices

Tom was punctual and professional and did a great job on all the locks. I would absolutely hire him again. Most of the cost was the price of the new deadbolt ($60) that was the same brand as the one already in my door, which he told me about beforehand. He said that I could go with another cheaper lock if I wanted, but I elected to stick with the same brand that was there originally.

The locksmith was awesome. We called him the night before and scheduled a next day appointment for us for our new house. He arrived on time, had all of the tools to do all of the work we required on site in his van. Re-keyed all of the locks in the house (including the storm doors!) to one key for us. We had also purchased a reproduction knob with backplate which he installed for us, as well as swapped out a Jimmy lock and bored new holes for the new deadbolt's backset. He was really professional, did a great job, cleaned up after himself, and for the ton of work he did he was really reasonably priced!! Can't recommend him enough. As a matter of fact I've already recommended him to friends whom are in the process of buying. Great job.

I called Tom Monday morning with this problem. Recognizing it as a small problem, he squeezed in a visit to our house less than an hour later, opened the locked door, removed the offending cylinder so the lock wouldn't get accidentally locked again, and was done in less than 30 minutes.

It was great, he arrived about 15 minutes early and called to let me know he was there. Looked at all the locks to be replaced, asked me how many different keys we wanted and then went to work. He comes with all of his tools and worked expeditiously. Very professional and courteous.

We had Tom's re-key the locks on all the exterior doors when we moved in. They showed up on time and did the job quickly and efficiently. They re-keyed several kind of locks for us (on regular doors, sliding doors and fence gates) and were able to make different locks work with the same key to make things simpler. The price was very reasonable.

I called and left voicemail, which was promptly responded to within a couple hours. Set appointment for two days away. Tom was about 15 minutes early and called to see if he could come in. Took apart antique-style lock and doorknobs, concluded it was better to replace cylinder than try to evaluate/fix problem of keys sticking. Went back to his truck, got cylinder and cut keys. He came back and I asked him to look at doorknobs which have given us trouble over the years. He pulled them out, evaluated them in close detail, and concluded (after showing me) that they were worn down and should be replaced. In both cases, I expected the parts to be replaced so nothing was a surprise. He was at my house for 45 minutes and was very efficient, total cost was $92. He's not the most talkative person in the world and gets right to the point. If you just want your locks taken care of, this is the guy. I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

Tom was early for our appointment. Was very thorough looking through all the work that needed to be done, then went back to his van and did all the alterations. It was very quick and very thorough. In addition to the cylinder changes we had discussed on the phone he altered our strike plate so our door would lock easier. Overall he was very quick, the whole process took less than an hour, and very professional. His service call price is higher than some of the other quotes I got, but his cylinder replacement price was so much lower, than even changing only a few cylinders made him less expensive. Next time I need a locksmith I'll very likely be calling Tom.

Tom was very professional and took the time to do the job right, especially with the front door handleset. I own an old chicago style bungalow that has the original rounded top door. This door had the original handleset that was no longer functioning properly and needed to be replaced. The door is not the standard thickness and the type of handleset that would work for it was not standard, so I was having difficulty finding a replacement. Tom recommended a specialty hardware store where I could find what I needed. I purchased all the hardware for both this door and the other three and hired Tom to install and re-key them. He spent a lot of time making sure it was done properly. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to anyone that would need this kind of service.

I called Tom on a Thursday afternoon and was able to have him come Saturday morning to rekey my doors because I had just bought the unit. Tom arrived promptly and quickly rekeyed each entrance. He also fixed a loose handle on another door for free. He made three sets of keys and lubricated the locks. I will be calling Tom's Locksmiths in the future.
