 + -1 moreTHEY WERE JUST TERRIFIC. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THEM. I WAS VERY COMFORTABLE HAVING THEM IN MY HOME.
Description of Work: THEY CLEANED UP MY UTILITY ROOM FROM A LEAK THAT HAPPENED UP STAIRS AND TOOK CARE OF SOME OTHER CLEANING IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM AND MAIN BATHROOM.

 + -1 moreThey charged me full price for the job and my house was not very dirty. I asked them to clean mirrors, do the floors and move the things off of the table that was to be cleaned. They did not do the kitchen floor or the downstairs floor and the items were left on the table that was cleaned. They used my cleaning supplies. I was also disappointed that they did not call back to check on the work. It was kind of a last minute thing and they were able to fit me in, but I asked for two people and 3 were sent and 2 of them had to leave and came back later. I don't feel that they were very good at communicating with me.

 + -1 moreScheduling them to come in was a complete nightmare. The times they would clean and even the day of the week would change week by week. This was not a big deal as I work at home, but for others this may be a concern. Generally, I have no complains about the cleaning itself, as they always did an OK job. My problem was in dealing with Maria. Some weeks she was very sweet and accommodating, and other times I would get berated on the phone for not being available when she had wanted to send the crew over. The straw that broke the camel back was after a new crew had been in to clean my home, they did an awful job. This was the first time in a year I had a problem with the service. When I called to inform Maria of the issue, she just screamed that it was all my fault, and that she talked to the crew and they said they did the work, and I was full of it.
Description of Work: I had used this service to have my house cleaned every week for about a year.

 + -1 moreI asked them what they were gonna charge, and they said they would charge $16 an hour with a minimal of two or three people. So then I inquired,"So is that $30 dollars per hour?" She just said, "Goodbye". I thought they were very rude and I wouldn't want to use their service.
Description of Work: I called them up and told them where I live, and I lived in a location where they service and I inquired how they go about figuring out the price of a job.

 + 0 moreService with the company started off fantastic, girls came, cleaned and were very nice. The first time they came the cleaning was perfect, the second through fourth time, there were problems. They never cleaned the floors and I asked several times for them to do them and when I'd come back from work, the same spots and footprints would be there, I was even home one time they were cleaning and they didn't do the floors. I also needed someone to come at the same time and day every week, I can't keep confirming the night before. I also didn't like that new girls came every time and I had to explain what I wanted done everytime. Company is good but I needed a service I didn't have to service all the time.
Description of Work: Cleaning of 2 bedroom townhouse. Every other week.

 + -1 moreI had never used a cleaning service before and when we decided to sell our house we felt it would be easier to have some to help keep it clean for showings. Three Marias did a fantastic job. They were on time, thorough, friendly, and flexible with their scheduling. With the deep clean it took the 2 women about 5 hours and with the regular cleanings it took about 3 hours. I would not hesitate to use them again and in fact will probably do just that for a final "move-out" cleaning.
Description of Work: Did initial deep cleaning for $150 and then several regular bi-weekly cleanings for $75. This was for a 3 bd/1.5 bath house (approx. 1500 square feet).

 + -1 moreThey asked me if I could commit to three times, and I agreed. I told them the days that I was available, and they agreed. Then, an hour after we had made the arrangements, they told me that told me they could not work for me. I was very dissatisfied that they denied my request for service with no reason. When I talked to the man on the phone we discussed their high rating, so I thought they would be the best.
Description of Work: I contacted this company about cleaning my home. When I spoke to them, they told me they could come the following Monday.

 + -1 moreThree Maria's did a very thorough job, and I was quite satisfied with their work. They cleaned the bathrooms, kitchen, floors, carpets, countertops, etc., all very well. They even cleaned scuffs and marks from a wall by the entry that takes a beating from bags and shoes, and this certainly required some extra elbow-grease. They worked as a 3-person crew, and all 3 spoke decent English. The only cons were they were a bit late, and the price. She quoted between $16-25 per person hour, and they charged me the full $25 (but the place was very dirty).
Description of Work: House-cleaning of a 2 BR/1.5 BA condo to prepare it to list on the real estate market.

 + -1 moreMaria's girls are very impressive workers. They only stopped for a ten minute break, which I insisted upon. Three of the four spoke only Polish, however, the lead person spoke excellent English and was able to communicate the tasks to the others very well. They worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend them. They are very pleasant and polite.
Description of Work: The team did general house cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, wash floors, mirrors, woodwork. They knew which products cleaned what, dusted high places, if requested. It helps to be very specific about what needs to be done.

 + -1 moreWoman who I spoke with on the phone (Maria) was very rude and impatient. I was trying to set up a specific appointment time for weekly cleanings so they would not be at my house cleaning during my kids' nap time. Maria told me she could not commit to a specific appointment time unless it was 7 a.m. she went on and on about how she couldn't give me a specific time. She told me that she didn't really need any new customers and that I could find someone much better than she was. These are her words so keep them in mind!

 + -1 moreThis is my second spring clean from this outstanding company. Again, a year later, I was most impressed at the prompt arrival & professional manner of the team of three ladies who were assigned to my house. This year, just like last year, a fantastic team did a thorough job. I did not have to remind them to remove the cushions from my sofas & vacuum. The time was spent not on their cell phones or turning on radios in each room, but really paying attention to what they were doing. Under the beds, bureaus, & sofas were clean. My fireplace sits in the middle of a brick wall that extends the length of the room- that was dusted. ALL lampshades were dusted properly, even the laundry room was wiped down. The children's book cases were also dusted & books as well! Neither time nor cleaning supplies were wasted. I cannot say enough about this company. The way things were cleaned this year, as last year, was wonderful. The fee was exactly as discussed & I couldn't be happier!
Description of Work: I had called requesting a spring cleaning this year as I had last year for my 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch. Polishing of all furniture, including antiques, dusting- light fixtures, curtains, deep clean of all rooms, leather cleaning with Weinman product for a large sectional & chair, the works. Wiping down walls. What a wonderful job. The team leader (I had requested three ladies) was careful in relaying the necessary information to her colleagues. Unfortunately, my two small children were not being cooperative for me to be specific. Some items I want to be sure I highlight as a priority. Over the years, I have tried many cleaning services before for spring cleaning, only to see the microwave untouched, streaks on mirrors, webs in corners of ceiling, or simple Swiffering instead of polishing. I definitely feel the price is in line for such excellent & reliable work (I watched & checked after). The team was different this year, but the quality of work was again exceptional.

 + -1 moreThe cleaning was very detailed. They cleaned the insides of the toaster oven and microwave, the outside of the garbage can, soap dishes, and other items that are not often cleaned. I was very impressed with the level of detail.
Description of Work: Initial cleaning after no real cleaning for over a month. Mopped hardwood floors and tile floors and vacuumed carpet. Also cleaned kitchens and bath, dusted furniture, etc.

 + -1 moreI was never given an estimate prior to the start of the job. 4 women, only one of whom spoke some English, arrived a little late. All of the workers were friendly and worked steadily. I provided the cleaning materials and was very specific about what I wanted cleaned, how I wanted it cleaned and anything I wanted to be skipped. 90% of my instructions were followed exactly with good results. The rest was substandard. The one English speaking worker had limited grasp of the language and it was difficult to communicate about details which were initially misunderstood. After 3 hours, 3 of the women left to attend to another job, leaving behind a non-English speaking worker to finish my job. She was very nice but no communication was impossible. After the job was completed, I noticed that one of my window blinds had been broken. I would have preferred to have been informed of this rather than discovering it later by accident.
Description of Work: A first time deep cleaning of a 2300 square foot 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condominium. The cleaning included the inside of cupboards and drawers, stove, refrigerator, granite counters, marble bathrooms, hardwood floors throughout the house, inside windows, mirrors, baseboards, doorframes, etc. One bedroom wasn't cleaned because it was being used for storage.

 + -1 moreI hired Three Maria's a couple times in the past. They did a good job, except the last time the wood floors were not rinsed after mopping, and streaks of dirt appeared in many places. At that time we agreed two people were coming to clean and three showed up. So I called and was sternly told by Maria that she can't run her business around my schedule; rude. I did try to hire them one more time and was told I had to call her back in three hours, she couldn't call me back. I don't think I'll be hiring them again.

 + -1 moreA crew of 4 women came. They were very detailed and pro-active in identifying our needs with minimal direction from us. They cleaned areas I wouldn't have thought about - over door frames and the tops of ceiling fans. It's a little hard to fully evaluate them since our house was empty, but what they did was great.
Description of Work: We moved into a Victorian house. The previous owners had a dog, so we hired Three Marias to clean everything before the movers unloaded our stuff.
