Three Marias Cleaning

During my first service two ladies came over and cleaned our new condo. They were very efficient, quick, professional and polite. There were several particular key areas that were missed though (blinds, baseboards, tops of cabinets), so the owner gave me a discount on the next service (about a month or so later). This time three ladies came over, again were very efficient, quick and polite. The owner is very nice and tries her best to accommodate your schedule. They do a very good job in a short amount of time. I previously had 1 cleaning woman come over and it would take her 3-4 hours to finish what these 2-3 ladies did in an hour & half. There is an extra charge for bringing their own supplies (I always supply my own), and a $5 gas fee. I would use them again, but next time will have a list of priorities for them to clean so that (my priorities) are not just glossed over/lightly cleaned.

Three cleaning ladies showed up on time around 10am. They were flying around the house and seemed to be in a hurry. That is ok with me but they could of done a better job. For example after they left I found dust/dirt still on my bedroom floor. They were only at my condo for 1 hour and it cost me $95. I only have a 1050sq ft condo, so I felt that was a little excessive. That basically breaks down to them making $30 an hour. It was not cleaned for what I consider $30 per hr satisfaction. I will probably not use them again unless I'm in a bind.

one of the maries called me to schedule the cleaning. they informed me what supplies i would need to have on hand. they came in 3 times to clean and were very professional. the house looked great after they left.It was a little hard to communicate over the phone as english is not their fist language but all in all we got through to each other and were able to schedule times.

Two women cleaned the lower level of our home, including one bedroom, one bathroom and one living room. They polished the furniture, wiped down doors, cleaned inside windows, dusted the ceilings and vacuumed floors and furniture.

It weant mostly well, and they did a good job cleaning. I used an Angie's List Big Deal, which was $94 for 4 man hours of cleaning, based on a per hour cost for 1 person (4 hours) or 2 people (2 hours each). There was an option to pay a per-hour be an overcharge if they did not finish cleaning the condo in 4 man-hours. Well, 3 people showed up, and we ended up trying to parse costs for 20 and 30 minute segments. It just seemed a bit clunky to try to go through this portion. Having said that, I'll repeat that they did a good job on the cleaning portion when they were here.

It went well. They didn't leave it at just cleaning the surfaces. They did some of the deep clean things, like moved furniture to vacuum/clean beneath or behind it.

They have always done a great job and were very punctual. I would highly recommend.

Cleaned Home and did and fine job but we not very flexible with scheduling. Overall service was fine but scheduling and communication were less than easy.

There were some challenges scheduling initially. There was an issue with the email service connecting through Angie's list. Angie's List gave a contact number, but that number also had voice mail issues. After several back and forth emails and voice mails to the mainline, the owner left her personal cell phone as an alternative to the primary company number. I was able to reach her while she was traveling. She was completely unaware that the company voicemail was down when I told her I could not leave a message. She apologized profusely and managed to schedule and deliver service the very next day. I was quite impressed by this, and this more than compensated for all of the communication challenges that I was having. The next day two ladies arrived promptly in spite of early morning Chicago gridlock. I requested given the limited time of the coupon, that they focus on cleaning the floors and the bathrooms of my home. They did a stellar job. They cleaned the floors by hand, and the bathroom tiles (even the tiles on the walls) sparkled when they left. I was very pleased with the service of Three Marias, and highly recommend their service.

It went well and they work hard and fast. If needed, they will provide the supplies.

Wood floors are shining again.

Two ladies who cleaned the condo were nice and they did a good job. When the time came to pay the owner Maria changed her pricing. When we talked on the phone several times she said that the charges are $35 an hour that includes two women who will come and clean the place. When the time came to pay she charged her mind. She charged me $35 an hour for each person. So I paid $70 an hour cleaning. So I paid $260 for 31/2 hour work which is an absolute unacceptable and cheating. I am an out of townee so she took an advantage of me. I would not recommend her to any one.

I have used them once and they are very very good. There was a little bit of a mix up but they cleared everything up for me. It was a communication issue.

It turned out okay. They did a good job. There were some things that we wanted done that they didn't do because they just focused on cleaning the whole house instead of those pointed items. I told them we would probably give them another shot just to see how it goes going forward. I paid more than the "Big Deal" because they had an extra person which I wasn't expecting and they cleaned the whole house instead of just doing the items that we asked them to do. I preferred they told me going in that it was going to be more. It didn't hurt my feelings that it did cost more because they did clean the whole house but if they're going to stay longer and do more work than what was expected, they should probably inform the customer. They didn't seem to know that this was part of the deal. The communication between the management and the staff probably could improve. They did a decent job cleaning so I was not concerned about that. I've already told the Maria's that we expect a little bit more out of them next time as they come back.

They were very nice. They loved our dogs and the pricing was fair.

I have a one-bedroom condominium, which one would think is easy to clean. I suppose it is, but I hate cleaning, resent having to clean on the weekends, but also hate living in a dirty house. That's why I'm so thrilled to have a cleaning service. Maria is very pleasant to work with. The workers were (and are, because I continue to use them) incredibly punctual and will call if delayed. My house was amazingly, beautifully clean after the initial deep cleaning. They do a much better job than I could do, leave things neater than I ever am. I'm very pleased.

Three Marias cleaning service was scheduled for noon. Arrival was at 2pm. I paid for 4 hours cleaning $84. 3 women arrived and cleaned for 1 1/2 hours. they informed me because there were 3 that they would only stay for 1 1/2 hr, I did not kow this was the arrangement I paid for. If they stood longer it would be additional $$. One cleaned my bathroom for 1 1//2 hr. Really? It might have been acceptable if it were spotless. Yes it was cleaned but for that amount of time I should not have found the inside mirror not cleanned or behind a small cabinet not cleanned. A small window could have been wiped down. Around the bathtub faucets was still water build up. I asked that they wipe down all doorways, doors, frames with polish. they only cleaned one side of the door? I did have specific jobs for them to do. Clean all floors with a wax cleaner I had provided, All doors and frames, bathroom, woodwork in kitchen, all glass mirrors, cabinet doors in kitchen, appliances. One of the women was a very good worker, one of them was BAD, and the other was ok. If I did hire again it would NOT be all 3. thanks, Laura Wika

I purchased the 4 hours for $88 with 3 Maria's. Maria was able to work with me to find a time that worked on a relatively short schedule. They showed up on time and got right to work cleaning our house. I liked that they use my products so I know and am comfortable with what's being used in our home. At the end of the 2 hours (2 people), the house was in much better shape. I will definitely consider them for future needs.

NOTE : Three Marias will charge extra trip charge if you are in the suburbs. So Buyeer be Aware. I requested a refund since the combined cost is unreasonable for house cleaning.

I purchased a big deal from them and asked to schedule for a Friday or a Monday. I asked if she could left me know ahead of time when they could come out and she said no. She said that based on the size of the home it would not be able to be done at the price of the deal. I asked how much it would cost and she said the cleaning ladies would tell her that information. I asked if they would be able to give a receipt if I paid by cash and she said we don't do receipts.

They were very punctual and got right to work, letting me know when they would be stopping as I only had them for 2 hours. I didn't realize I needed to provide cleaning supplies and would have had all that organized ahead of time if I would have known. They did way more than I thought they could do in the 2 hours that they were there. I will definitely have them come back again.

I called at the last minute asking for a Saturday cleaning crew. The women were wonderful, thorough and punctual. I am very satisfied and would recommend Three Marias to anyone looking for maid services.

I was not around when the ladies cleaned and did not hear a complaint from my tenant. The reason I wasn't around was because I hired The Three Marias about 7 or 8 years ago and they cleaned for me once, sometimes twice per month. I trusted them implicitly. In one home, I let Maria have a key and I never, ever worried about their comings/goings. The women who work for Maria are extremely thorough and really get the job done, quickly and completely. I've moved out of state which is the only reason I no longer use their services. Most of the women who work for Maria don't speak much English, but it doesn't matter because they are professional and very good at what they do so we never had language issues. In fact I really liked when the women would come and clean my home. They were always very kind to my cat and played with him (which in no way got in the way of their work). If I could, I would give them an A+ and not just an A. I miss you Maria!

I had become an Angie?s list member a few months ago in order to find great service providers for my move back to my hometown of Chicago. I found both my moving company and my Realtor on Angie's list and could not have been happier with the A+ level of service they provided. Upon moving, I needed to find a cleaning service. Since I had lived in Chicago most of my life, and still owned properties here, I already had a wonderful and professional cleaning service that had been cleaning for me over the years. The only reason I was looking for another service is because they have a large client base and tend to get very busy at times, so I was looking for another cleaning service to fill in the blanks when needed. The timing was perfect for an Angie's List "Big Deal" to come through my inbox for Three Maria's Cleaning Service. I purchased the deal and called the company. I was pleased that Maria had responded to my call in a timely manner, and I was surprised that she had availability on such short notice. That's where my positive experience ended. Upon the first few seconds of our phone call, she was immediately trying to up-charge me to more than the 4 hours that I had purchased. I tried to explain to her that it would not be necessary, as I already had my condo cleaned just 2 weeks ago by my regular service - and assuming she would have 2 people working, it should definitely not exceed the 4 hours. Her response was "It doesn't matter if I bring 10 people, it will take longer than 4 hours! I know this because I've been cleaning for over a quarter of a century!" She didn't ask one question about my condo other than the square footage. We live in a one level condo, no pets, no carpeting, it was just cleaned 2 weeks ago, and we keep up with it very well. How bad could it be?! Yet I never got the chance to explain any of that, because she didn't wish to hear it, and continued to rudely cut me off mid sentence. She only wanted to insist it would cost me more money than what I spent for her "deal". Why sell a mass coupon online that you aren't willing to honor? It made absolutely no sense to me. When I thought we had gotten through the above confusion, she went to confirm my address. I had to correct her, because she was thinking that my unit number was my street number. No big deal, right? However, she proceeded to tell me that I should have left my street number on her voice mail. Trust me...I do know my address, and absolutely left the correct address in it's entirety on her voice mail. I was willing to let it go until she actually wanted to argue about it by stating that I did not leave the whole address on her voice mail. At this point, I felt the conversation was getting petty and ridiculous, and the fact that she felt the need to challenge me on my own address was my breaking point. It was a very surreal conversation, witnessed by someone else who was standing in the same room with me at the time. All he could do is shake his head and tell me to get off the phone with this woman. At that time I finally realized I was dealing with someone whom I would not be comfortable having in my home, and thanked her for her time. Her response was that she "Didn't need any more business anyway" and hung up the phone. I question why she is advertising a coupon online and had full availability at such short notice, yet claims to not need any more business. ?? I found her attitude to be extremely rude and combative, and I did not see the reason for it. I had simply purchased her service based on my needs, and was surely not trying to argue with anyone. In fact, I was hoping to find another cleaning service to use on a regular basis for my home, small business, and rental properties. I realized after hanging up that working her "coupon" for more money was her end game, as opposed to understanding the importance of building a professional business relationship. Perhaps since I was coming to her off of an Angie's list "deal", that I wasn't taken seriously? I know a thing or two about owning businesses, and I would never think it is okay to treat anyone with such disrespect. I'm going to chalk it up to maybe she was having a bad day - since there are clearly many positive reviews for her service. I have never in my life posted a bad review on any website, and I'm disappointed that I had to today. After having such positive experiences with Angie's List prior to this situation, I take Angie's List seriously and felt that future clients of Three Maria's should be aware.
