Three Marias Cleaning

They were prompt. Used my own cleaning supplies which was okay...but 2 rolls of paper towels!! Wow! My floors weren't as clean as I'd like them. Felt "rushed" as I had purchased a deal. But for the deal I purchased, work was okay.

Two employees showed up on time. They did a great job and they were very thorough. I would hire them again. The only thing I wasn't aware of (and its probably my fault) is that the workers don't come with any cleaning supplies, so make sure you have everything.

The scheduling portion of the job went well. I mentioned to the owner that we were having some work done at the house in the morning and she said the cleaners would come in the afternoon. The cleaners arrived on time and seemed prepared to work in the kitchen and bathroom. They asked for cleaning supplies including bleach. We don't use bleach for cleaning or even bring it to the first floor, but since one of the things they had to clean was a bathroom I gave it to them. I then left while they were cleaning. WHen they were done the cleaner called me to tell me. I returned and gave her a check for the amount. She didn't not mention anything about any issues that may have come up. When I looked things over, I noticed white spots on our new dark brown couch. It is between the kitchen and the bathroom. It looked like bleach.I called the owner to tell her and she said she would look into it and call me back. Five minutes later, she called back. This is where things took a nasty turn. She called me a "liar" and said I was trying to "get a free couch". She said our family's house was "very dirty" and she had never heard of a house so "gross". She said she was disgusted and told me she would never work for me again. Needless to say, I was taken aback. I expected a simple acknowledgement. Not a free couch. Since then I have had the spot looked at by a fabric cleaner and it is bleach. I would have been willing to settle for an apology and maybe some discounted cleaning work. But I was so offended by her manner and the things she said that I felt the need to share this with other members. I run my own business and I have made some mistakes in performing work in peoples homes. I feel it is important to acknowledge at least the possibility that you may have made a mistake and I would never think of speaking to a customer (or anyone) in this way. We will be buying a new cover for our couch (approx. $130), so the "deal" turned out to be pretty expensive.

I know every company on here would like us to write a review immediately following the first time the work was performed, but when hiring a cleaning company I felt it was better to write one after a few months of regular service. I wanted to make sure the quality of work remained consistent and as good as the first deep cleaning. I was right to do so. Three Marias Cleaning is exceptional. They confirm every appointment, work around your schedule, the staff is friendly and professional, and best of all they are top-notch cleaners! They usually send 2-3 women each time so the work is completed quickly and efficiently. For someone like me who works from home, having your house cleaned within 2 hours is a plus. Also, if they ever "miss a spot" they are quick to correct the issue and then they never miss that spot again. Another plus is that they send the same group of women each time so they know exactly where to find the cleaning supplies and know their way around my house. After four months of using this service, I can honestly say I'm thrilled with the work they do, I trust the cleaners completely, and you'd be foolish not to hire them today.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was not good. The language of the deal said it was for three hours of housecleaning, but three people came out who only stayed for one hour so the whole thing was very misleading. I was not happy with it at all. They did not do that good of job. I did not care if three people came out for an hour if they had done a better job of cleaning. They were supposed to do whole house cleaning but it did not happen because I had a building I wanted cleaned with front and back stairs and it would have taken longer than the deal specified. I would never used them again. I thought the price was awful and I got women who could not speak English. I think I remember an issue where they did not show up because there was confusion about them opening my gate and ringing my bell. It was not good.

This was the first time I've ever used any cleaning service and I was shocked when I got the call the night before they were to come out that I needed to supply everything and they just supplied the labor. They do have stuff available encase you don't have it, but that's an extra charge. They came over within the timeframe I was given and they went right to work, they cleaned 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and our hardwood floors. I was working at home while they were working and on a conference call, so really could inspect everything when they finished, but overall they did a pretty good job and I would use them again, but the reason I didn't give them an A all across the board, for me to pay their normal fee( I got a new customer deal 4 hours for 85 bucks) I think they need to provide the cleaning supplies and tools, because if you pay a handyman to do work he doesn't ask you for a hammer and drill. Overall the place looked great, just need to do some more research to see if there's someone that charges the same, but provides the supplies and no extra cost.

I previously had them out for two Big Deals that I purchased. This time was going to be the first regularly scheduled appointment, not using a Big Deal, but it was cancelled because Maria called me to reschedule on a weekday. I specifically asked for cleaning on Saturdays for a reason. According to Maria, it is hard to get people who want to clean on Saturdays. That does not work for me. The reason for the B & C rating is not the work that the women did. They were fine. It's all the scheduling calls and changes, even from the previous jobs. My advice would be for Maria to take better notes on her clients and scheduling.

When I spoke with Maria on the phone, I found her immediately charming and professional. Her crew was worked very hard and did a great job removing dog hair and general filth from a recently vacated apartment. My father is the biggest clean freak in the world and one of the most critical people you'll ever encounter. Even he was very impressed at how clean the apartment was. Thanks to the Three Marias!

Maria called right away to schedule the appt. Since it was so close to Christmas I didn't know if they would have time for me. I was able to make it on a Friday which she was so appreciative of since the weekends were really busy. Maria told me to "make a list" of the things I wanted to have done since the coupon was for 4 man hours and they may not be able to complete everything but I could pay them extra to stay. She said it didn't matter to her one way or the other if I didn't want the extra time she just wanted to put it out on the table. That was nice since I didn't feel pressured. Since I live alone I made my list with the items that were harder for me to do at the top of the list. The two ladies came precisely on time and they had their own agenda. I told them about the list and how Maria told me compile it. They basically nodded and said they were going to start upstairs and work their way down. The list stayed on my kitchen counter. I must say they were fast and efficient so I let them be. Maybe it was the last half hour when the younger girl came down and looked at the list to see if they covered the things I had on it. Then talk about being on the clock: she came up to me a little later and said "we have about 5 minutes left, we won't be able to get to the kitchen floor do you want us to stay later and you'll have to pay extra?" Again she was not putting the pressure on me, she said I was their last client of the day. I declined because I had a budget and they left. They put everything away and what they did do was spotless.

I found Three Maria's on Angie's list about 6-years ago when we moved into our home. Based on their strong reviews I gave them a try and have been using them ever since. They visit our home like clockwork every other week. Same day, same time. We have a large house that spans 3 floors. They usually send three people that are professional and all business. They get to work the moment they walk in and the house is spotless when they leave. They are also very proactive when schedules have to change around holidays. For example, if we have a cleaning scheduled on Christmas Eve, they will call and ask us what day would be best. They can come before, after or whatever we want. They will often even clean on a holiday if we need the service. There are times when we do not want them to clean on a scheduled day. When we call, they work the schedule change in no problem. I have used a number of cleaning services over the years. Three Maria's is certainly one of the best, if not the best. They are proactive, efficient, honest and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company.

There were three of them that came in to clean our home. One of the women, an older woman, went upstairs and was only supposed to clean the bathroom. She rummaged through the laundry in the linen closet, when she did not have authorization to go in there. She took something of monetary value to my family. I just want the property back.

I'm not sure WHO is writing reviews for this company but my guess is their friends and relatives. There service was absolutely awful!!!! I have a one bedroom apartment that needed light cleaning and mopping. They took my bed sheets off the bed to wash but never washed them or re-made my bed. My nightstand still had dust on it, they didn't sweep anything because there was dust on my floors, they didn't clean out the fridge, they left bags of garbage sitting by my front door, they left clothes in disarray on my couch. I informed them I have teacup chihuahuas but it still smelled like dogs in my house. My 12 year old niece could have done a better job than this!!

The young ladies were very pleasant and went right to work. However, because they needed to use my cleaning supplies and I didn't know what they needed or wanted, things were a bit confused. Also, they were unfamiliar with my canister vaccuum and left the attachments needing to be cleaned.

My only complaint is that they cannot accommodate the days I need them to come out, for example they are only available to come out on Tuesday in my area. So if I have a party on Saturday, it would be nice if they can come on Thursday not Tuesday by that time my house is dusty again. Other than that, they are great!

I was told they would arrive at 7 a.m. They finally came closer to 7:40 a.m. No call. No text. One of the woman spoke pretty good english and the other did not. That is OK, and was not my primary issue. One woman worked quite hard, and while she did make some mistakes, I was at least impressed that she put in a lot of effort. The other woman did not start off doing a good job on the bathroom. There was still dust everywhere on the tub, and she had not even filled the bucket. I had to come in and show her that there was still soap on the tray, the tile had not even been attempted to be cleaned, and the tub was not clean. She eventually did put in much better effort there. However, I was surprised that all she did was run a Swiffer across my bathroom floor. I told her that on slate tile I expected it to be cleaned with a wet sponge. She offered to re-do it, however, I told her that if they ever came back they could do it that way. While they were vacuuming, I kept hearing awful sounds. I asked what was going on, and they didn't really answer. They mis-adjusted the height on the vacuum and it messed up my carpet. While the dishes were cleaned, they were just put on top of a rag which had been used to clean lots of other stuff with a wet paper towel in between. I assume that this was supposed to be create a barrier to preserve cleanliness. Despite this, there was a pile of clean kitchen towels just 12 inches from where they put the clean dishes on top of a dirty cleaning rag. While in the end, they did an OK job, messing up my carpet, and having to prompt one woman to put in the right amount of effort, coupled with not great communication, would cause me to not recommend this provider. Not the absolute worst, but to be honest, I am quite p***** about the carpet. I hire these companies to make my life easier. This only creates a problem for me.

Two housekeepers came and scrubbed up my big old bungalow. Very pleasant, focused, energetic. High standards.

I have been using Three Marias for several years for weekly cleaning in my 2600 sq. ft. home with 2 dogs and 2 cats. Although the team size (2 or 3 members) and composition has varied, the quality has not. The team arrives promptly every Monday morning at 7 a.m. and by 9 a.m. they are gone, leaving behind a clean house and a bucketful of dirty rags. Each week these women vacuum rugs and furniture, mop the hardwood floors, clean the 3 bathrooms, change the linens in the master bedroom, and clean the kitchen countertops and sink. The cost is extremely reasonable at $103. The only downside is that sometimes I feel the standard Three Marias treatment is not enough for my house. I'd like ALL of the floors vacuumed and to make sure that all of the furniture and art work is dusted. But I can't blame this on Three Marias. If I wanted a more complete cleaning on a regular basis I'm sure I could arrange to get it for a higher price. Three Marias provides prompt, reliable, competent house-cleaning at a reasonable price--something that is surprisingly difficult to find these days. The fact that we stay with them year after year demonstrates how satisfied we are overall, despite the occasional disappointment.

Two people--they were very nice and did a good job, but even after I told them what I wanted them to do and not to do, they proceeded to clean some things that didn't need cleaning. If I hadn't been there, they would have spent time cleaning unwanted things while not cleaning things I requested. Also, I gave them the materials to clean and explained a special cleaning solvent for my wood floors. When I returned after a short errand, the floors were all wet. She said she cleaned them with water because they were so dusty and dirty. I wish she would have at least used a small amount of water and soap. But, on the whole, I was very satisfied with their work. They were fast and efficient.

I have scheduled another cleaning session and will likely hire them for every two weeks.

They do an amazing job and everything looks great when they leave.

The ladies tackled our two bedroom, two bath in an 1 1/2 hours! They did a great job and I have them coming every 4 weeks!

The girls were amazing despite being rushed off their feet thanks to the Christmas holidays. They were a little late arriving as I think they had extra work from their previous clients but they had rang ahead to warn me so they still get an A for punctuality. I cannot speak more highly of this firm, really professional. One of the girls also found for me an old bracelet which I thought I had lost. It was underneath some furniture, and my regular cleaner simply had not noticed.

The ladies did a terrific job! They were prompt and did everything we asked...and the price was right.
