The Professionals Moving Specialists

The crew was courteous, professional and hard working. They did a great job getting our massive amounts of stuff loaded and unloaded. They worked nonstop from 9-6 and asked questions if they needed guidance. They were very careful with everything. I'd recommend them to anyone who is moving.

A couple of weeks ago, The Professional Moving Specialists did a great job moving seven rooms of furniture and other ?stuff? from my third floor walk-up to a near-by elevator building. They also stored everything for one night. Carlos R. was the extremely well organized leader of a very efficient moving team also including Antonio and Alfredo M. The entire crew worked quickly, yet carefully, and they were very courteous. And, most important, everything got to my new home in good condition ? no breaks, no bumps. I was very pleased that the crew took the three deep flights of stairs in my old home in their stride, as just part of the job. They quickly gained my confidence. On arrival at my new home, Carlos was helpful, asking my direction for placement of furniture prior to unloading everything. He followed through on my requests and this seemed to save a lot of time and made settling in easier. Getting the initial estimate for the move and securing the reservation were easily done online. The staff answered my email questions promptly and they set up the arrangements for me to use the Green Boxes for the move. The Green boxes worked out very well. These plastic boxes were delivered about a week before the move and picked up a week after. I didn?t have to assemble cardboard boxes or tape boxes or get rid of boxes after the move. I did have to organize my time to get the packing and unpacking done while I had the boxes but it was worthwhile. I was extremely pleased with the moving service from The Professionals, especially the moving crew, and would definitely use them again.

We moved from Downtown to Lincoln Square. I can't tell you how happy I was with the three gentleman they chose to help us move. Moses, Luis and Alfredo came ready to party. They made sure they knew where everything was that needed to be packed up and shrink wrapped etc. Took them an hour to pack it all up and an hour or so to put it in our new condo. They were also very friendly and very courteous, always making sure they knew where the items they were carrying went to the proper place etc. The Professionals are really professionals for sure. Some of the things those kids did still boggle my mind. If we ever need to move we will use these guys again, and I will specifically request those three gentleman as well. Thanks for making our move so great guys! ;)

Office staff professional in setting things up. Irvin's crew was quick, careful, and knowledgeable in all facets of the process. They worked very hard.

They moved us from our 3rd story condo which we've been in for almost 5 years. We have a lot of stuff and had done some of our own packing but had the guys pack our kitchen and artwork. Best decision we've made and well worth the cost. We will move without the professional ever again!

Very efficent and helpful. Even helped put together the platform for the bed after move. They loaded the truck and got to the destination, unloaded everything and put them all in my designated areas. They were quick and professional. using them again next month.

We were dreading moving and have had bad or so-so experiences with other companies in the past, but we heard great things about the Professionals and gave it a try. We were incredibly impressed. They got everything done astoundingly quickly, and they were so nice and low stress. We were amazed! The best moving experience I've ever had.

The professionals provided a great service. Highlights: -reasonably priced -efficient and fast -careful -friendly -professional I was happy with the Professionals for my move last year. We will be using them again this year. I know I can rely on them to be on time and to quickly start the process. There are no hidden fees. I was impressed with their customer service. We had a couch that would not fit upstairs in our apartment and the Professionals did everything the could to help us get it up. They tried both stairways. It ultimately ended up not working out, but I really appreciated their effort. I highly recommend this service.

We hired The Professionals to move into our new house a month ago, and the experience was excellent! At first, I was disappointed because we couldn't reserve their first appointment of the day and I didn't want to be delayed. However, Ulises and his crew were so efficient that they showed up to us 45 minutes early and completed 1 hour earlier than estimated. They were fast, but not sloppy. They were quick to disassemble and reassemble our queen-size bed (it's from IKEA, so you know it took 6 hours for us to put together in the first place!) Nothing was broken or missing, and they took care not to chip the fresh paint job in the new house. I highly recommend them to anyone needing professional moving services!

The Professionals came highly recommended. They were very prompt with scheduling and very flexible when I had to change the time frame requested due to freight elevator availability. They arrived 30 mins ahead of schedule and came ready to work. They disassembled our king size bed in a matter of minutes. The free wardrobe boxes came in handy. Overall, the job took 2 hours that would of taken us 2 days to complete. We will definitely use them again.

I can't say enough good things about this moving crew/company! I believe our foreman was Lalo and he and his crew were amazing. We were not as organized as we could have been and there were a lot of items that we decided on moving day whether they were going to a storage unit or our place. These guys listened so well and got everything right. There's no way I could have done the same. They were extremely organized, efficient, hardworking, and overall just nice pleasant people. They dealt with a couch obstacle in our new place with ease. From the start the staff in the office was very friendly and got me a quote quickly which was almost spot on to what we paid. I'll be calling this company again without hesitation!

The team was on time, professional and fast. They did lose the hardware for my dad shelves, but the brackets are small, and only a $5 replacement. In 3 moves, that's the only thing that went wrong. I would absolutely use them again.

Have used them numerous times in the past and continue to impress with every move. Always on time, very efficient, very friendly, and always come in under the estimated price. Will never hesitate to use them again or refer family and friends to them.

On time, finished early, very nice, very hardworking, and excellent price! We used the professionals back in 2010, and again this year. We would use them if we had to move again. We lived on the 4th floor and did not have an elevator, but it was no problem for these guys. Highly recommended.

I inquired online for a quote for moving and got a response the same day. The price quoted to me for a one-bedroom apartment (3rd floor walk-up) was a range from $350-$550, which was lower than other highly rated moving companies in the area. Based on incredibly positive yelp reviews, I decided to schedule them for my move. They emailed the detailed quote with instructions and called to confirm a few days before. On the day of the move, the guys (Modesto, Erik, and Gonzalo) showed up twenty minutes prior to the scheduled time and got to work right away. They did an amazing job moving all of my belongings without any damage. They shrink wrapped my mattresses (extra $10), so they arrived at the new place without a mark on them. They were polite and careful and incredibly efficient. When we arrived at the new place, they unloaded my items quickly and carefully, and placed each box in the appropriate room according to how I had labeled them. They removed the shrink wrap from all of my furniture and mattresses and even recycled the shrink wrap on their way out. The price came out to be the minimum charge for the move ($350). I am very pleased with their work and although I hopefully won't be moving again soon, I would use them again without hesitation.

Sometimes the circumstances of life bring unexpected changes. I used The Professionals 8 months ago for a move. And, well, I had to use them again last week. I called them for a second time, as they did such a fantastic job the first time. This time I had the same wonderful experience. These guys arrived exactly on time. They finished packing for me, as I had run out of boxes and steam when it came to packing. They moved me out of a three-story walk up and then in to a FOUR-story walk up. It was a tough move for these guys. They did an amazing job. Not one ding or scratch on a single wall, and all of my belongings and furniture were handled with the utmost care. On top of it, the move (which took quite a while, given all the stairs) came in just under the estimated quote I received. While I do not intend to move again ? ever, if I did, I would use The Professionals again ? without question. I would also highly recommend them to anyone who was making a move.

They arrived on time and ready to move. They were familiar with high rise condo rules and were professional. They did a great job wrapping all my furniture and TVs and packing them as well as my boxes into their moving truck. Everything arrived to my new apartment safe and sound.

What can I say? Superlatives don't do justice to the actual quality of the move, from the speed of the professional movers (who obviously were well trained and very experienced) to their care of our furniture and belongings to the price of the move that, for the second time, came in below what was quoted -- and it was still, move for move and hour for hour, the least expensive move we have ever made -- as well as the most pleasant! They four gentlemen were attentive to our needs and warm in their dealings with us, and clearly behaved as if we were their most important customer. We would never even get an estimate from another mover before using them again. (But hopefully not for a while!)

The movers were on time if not early, hard working, got to the site before me, quick, efficient. Professional, very nice men. I've moved alot and this was the best and easiest move ever. I would highly highly recommend them.

It went great! They showed up on time and were very professional and efficient. They even moved us through a torrential downpour and ensured all our belongings, plus wood floors, were dry and not damaged. The total moved last about 4 to 5 hours.

It's been a few years since we've moved and we were dreading the move into storage to have our floors done. Alex and his team showed up early and were more professional than any movers we have ever used. The were courteous and worked quickly. They so expertly and carefully moved our belongings. We are actually looking forward to requesting Alex and his team to move us back into our house in a few weeks.

We have used The Professionals for two moves and already have them booked for our upcoming move. We have had great experiences with both teams who moved us. We had an 8 am start time for both moves and the teams arrived early for both. They disassembled and wrapped our upholstered furniture and bed so everything was clean when it arrived at the new place. They were very pleasant to work with and explained everything to us before they started the move. We highly recommend The Professionals for your upcoming move. They are easy to work with and promptly respond to any questions. Their quotes have always been accurate and competitive to other moving company quotes.

Miguel and his team were on time (actually early- but asked if that was ok before arriving), fast, efficient, and very careful with my items. I have yet to see a single broken, scratched or damaged item. Moving is such a stressful experience but they made this part as easy as pie! The estimate was accurate and I felt they were a great value for the cost. And- when I was packing up I stopped by The Professionals office to purchase a couple of boxes for pictures. Because I had a scheduled move, they did not charge me for the boxes and had them delivered to my home. It was highly appreciated.

Estimate process could have gone a bit more smoothly. The process for completing the bid was a little labor intensive (by piece estimate of what's moving) but it was professional and we got through it. However, both crews were great, and worked HARD. You better be ready for these guys, because they were quick. But not hurried or sloppy, they just got down to business. Both crews. One annoyance was the window that they give for the movers. It was a couple hour window where thy might show up....schedule for noon, and they will be there from 11 to 1 or something. I totally get why, but it is annoying to not know if your moving day schedule will be impacted. Both crews showed up EARLY. Somewhat disruptive when you are moving out, because they rush you to finish packing. The second day they were early, too, and just had to wait until I could get to the storage facility, which they did without protest. I don't believe a single thing was broken. I've used other movers in the past, and this was a very good company. I'd definitely use them again.
