Although the technician was not able to "fix" our dishwasher, he was very helpful, courteous, and prompt, and the fact that our dishwasher had been ruined by terrible installation was in no way his fault. I would use this company again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was horrible! There were no extra charges. The guy was over an hour late for the appointment. When he came, I was sitting in the living room waiting for him and when he came up to my house, he threw cigarette butt into my lawn and he walked right into the door without ringing the doorbell or knocking. He was walking in before I got up and walked across to the door. He smelled horrible. Some of it might have been body odor, but most of it I think was wherever he stopped for lunch, which is why I think he was late. It was whatever he ate, I could hardly stand to talk to the guy. He was an older guy, spoke English okay but with a very, very heavy accent which I didn't mind. His attitude was horrible. He looked at the dishwasher and said he couldn't fix it. It needed a part so I said I'm going to buy it because it was a series part. I said I would buy the part if he would come back and he said he wouldn't do that. I talked to the woman who made the original appointment and said they don't supply the part. He said he's not coming back anyway because someone has already looked at it and they're not going to try and fix someone else's work. They gave me the $89 back, that was no problem. My experience with that guy was awful. The only things that were okay were they did make the appointment in a timely fashion and they gave me my money back.

I had been in the hospital for a long time and my stove had been turned off. He came over for that and what was really nice was that he said he wouldn't charge for the trip. He just turned the stove back on, and I informed him my dryer wasn't working. He went out and got a part to fix the dryer, and the cost on that was $169 which seemed reasonable. His name was Chris King, and he was prompt, didn't keep me waiting and was extremely pleasant and very efficient. He was also very helpful and cleaned up after himself. I will certainly call him again if I ever have a problem. I'd recommend him to anybody.

Came same day as I placed the call. Every other service was 3-7 days. Service person prompt. Let me know 30 minutes ahead when they were on the way. Steve, service guy, was efficient in repairing fridge. In addition, gave tips on cleaning stovetop, not cleaning self-cleaning oven (as oven gets older do not use self-clean function), and cooking stir fry vegetables with grape seed oil vs. vegetable oil. Immaculate service.

The repair for my dishwasher was scheduled promptly. Communications about timing went smoothly. Mr. King was there on time. He diagnosed the problem and, fortunately, had the part in the truck. He was able to repair it in one visit. Everything about the service was quite professional. The cost of repairs was reasonable, and I also appreciated the 5% senior discount. I would definitely call Appliance King again if I needed another repair.

They did and exceptinal job and better when we could have imagined. The quote was right on target and the technichan could not have been friendlier! Would definitly use them again.

Really well! Chris was extremely knowledgeable and was able to quickly fix the issue. Also, I called at 3pm on a Wednesday and Chris was there by 4:30. I would HIGHLY recommend this company!!

Our washing machine would fill but not agitate; was fairly certain it was the lid sensor. Called midweek and they were able to,schedule me for the following Monday. Technician came during the promised time and quickly diagnosed the problem as the lid sensor for which he had a replacement in his truck. With installation the entire process took less than 1/2 an hour.

It turned out find. I used them after the coupon had expired. It did cost more because the parts were extra. I had to pay him $100 for parts and labor. He seemed friendly and professional. His prices seemed fair. He called and quoted me a price. He had to go pick up the parts and come back a couple of days later and install them. The person that I spoke to on the phone was very accommodating.

Great front office and repairman service and a good company to work with. I called on a Friday and got a Monday appointment to repair our Frigidaire stackable dryer, which was leaving clothes smelling like natural gas and wasn't drying very well. The repairman was on time and fixed the natural gas problem quickly (and for just a little more than the base $89 cost for the diagnosis). He also repaired the broken vent hose. The whole thing took less than an hour.

Fixed our 8yr old dryer - it's working perfectly now.

Handled it in 20 minutes, but I was especially impressed by the main office, which scoped out the problem before Steve got here so he could get right to the job--and he had the necessary replacement parts.

The problem was identified immediately. I thought that I would need to replace the washer. The washer is now as good as new for a fraction of the cost. I would definitely use them again. Very impressed by their service and professionalism!

As it turned out, the problem I had with my washer corrected itself before The Appliance King people came. When I called to cancel their aoppointment, they were extremely nice. Next time, I will definitely use them.

I called Thursday morning about a broken washing machine and was given an appointment for Friday morning 9-11am. The man who answered the phone took my address and name (didn't even ask what model I had, which should have been suspicious to me, but I was desperate). I was ready by 9am today, but by 11:30, no one had shown up or called to re-schedule. I called at 11:30am and left a message. Less than 10 minutes later, a woman from the office called me back and let me know she did not have my phone number to call me and let me know the technician who was scheduled to come out could no longer make it. She had only a partial address (which was incorrect), and he had gotten my name completely wrong, plus not written down my phone number. Unfortunately, no one could make it out to see us today and she could only re-schedule for Monday (they do not do weekends). I was disappointed, though appreciated that she apologized for the bad communication on their part. I called a different company and got an appointment for Saturday instead. Having an infant who goes through several outfits a day makes it very important to have a working washing machine.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. I paid an additional $25 because they needed to replaced a part so I paid for the part. This was my first time using them. They were definitely overwhelmed by the deal and weren't quite sure how to handle that. That was a little frustrating for me because they weren't sure if the deal could cover it or wouldn't cover it. Their communication really is not very good about how to handle the coupon. As a company, they should have thought it through how to handle it. But the receptionist that I spoke with wound up helping me get everything scheduled. She called me back 2-3 times about the part and different things. She was very responsive so that was at least helpful, that I knew what was going on and I knew what to expect because she did keep me informed. It's been great ever since they fixed it.

Service was sized correctly. The minor things, like the fridge light were fixed. However, the assessment of my washer came out correctly. He didn't fix it due to the fact the reapir would have cost more than a new unit. That level of honesty was greatly appreciated as the unit completely failed later in the day. I'm happy with the service I recieved and I didn't get charged an arm or a leg to get prompt, honest service.

The service provider was very professional. Ready to work as soon as he walked through the door. He assessed the oven within 5 minutes, pulled out the replacement part, and then completed the installation with 45 minutes. I would use The Appliance King again without any reservations. Great job.

The work went fine. They were on time. They found an additional problem with an additional cost. They were excellent.

They responded quickly to my inquiry for an estimate to repair my washing machine. They advised me to contact the manufacturer. This was good advice as they were able to assist me with the repair.

The service was very good and professional. It would have been better if they had brought the replacement hose on the first visit to avoid a second service call. Perhaps that is not possible even though I gave them the model number. That is the only improvement I can think of, however.
