The quality of the work is exceptional. I've had other painters, even hired through angle's list, and Tapia's Works is definitely the highest quality paint job I've ever received. . Not only was their work exceptional, but the price was very reasonable. I will definitely hire them again.

Walter exhibited a very professional approach and understanding of what was required to execute the job, and he and his crew did their work flawlessly, while being very careful with protecting against any spills, splatters or messes. We were very pleased with the result. Walter and his crew were a pleasure to have in our house, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

The job went very smoothly from initial contact through completion. Walter answered the initial phone call and set up an appointment to view the job the next day. He arrived on time for the appointment and was very professional when explaining his process and available schedule. He emailed his estimate the next day and we agreed upon the final cost for the job. Walter was accommodating in arranging his schedule to complete the job in the time frame I needed. He and his crew arrived every day on time. They did a nice job of masking off the walls from the wood floors and kitchen cabinets. They removed all electrical cover plates, vents, and door hardware. They kept the inside and outside of the unit clean throughout the job. Walter's crew touched up a couple areas that I noticed during the final walk-through. They finished the job as scheduled and the apartment looked brand new. Walter and his crew were very polite, friendly, and professional from start to finish. I'd definitely use them again.

Walter and his crew did a wonderful job painting my house. Everyone who came through after the job was done commented on how nice the house looked, and how well the paint job was done - this included our contractor, plumber, floor guy, window crew, realtor, and eventually our tenant. Walter initially came for an estimate but we decided to go with the painter provided by our contractor, partly for the convenience of working with as few number of people as possible. This is an older home. It's in good shape, but certainly needed some attention to detail, given the many layers of paint it has received in the past decades. The initial painters from my contractor were headed by a cousin of his and we were shocked to see how sloppy and inexperienced some of the crew were. When this painting group decided to quit less than a week into the job, we were frustrated and relieved at the same time. We called Walter and explained the situation. He was quick to visit the second time and adjusted the quote according to both the work that was already performed and our shrinking budget. Walter's crew was able to work on our house within two weeks of his second visit. The entire experience was day and night different. The crew was punctual, worked hard and was right on schedule. We checked the work every day, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about! The house had brand new floor throughout the second level. Walter's crew put down rosin paper to protect it and was very, very careful. When we texted him with questions, Walter was always very prompt in getting back to us. His crew was on time for a scheduled touch-up. He also kindly stopped by about a month later when we had some questions. Based on the quality work from Tapia's Works, we would highly recommend Walter and his crew!

The overall experience was excellent. My walls are beautiful with no paint splatters or irregularities. Walter Tapia came to our house in a very timely manner to give us an estimate to paint our entire house (4bedroom 3 1/2 bath). He was prompt with an estimate and after some negotiation it was the lowest estimate that we received. He started work within 1 week of giving us the estimate and worked with 1-3 workers. He pointed out paint splatters from previous jobs prior to starting his job. He removed all fixtures, wall attachments, outlet covers, etc and replaced when finished. He coordinated his work with another company who was refinishing our floors - it worked very smoothly. He cleaned up all messes when finished. We have antique wood trim throughout our house which was protected from paint splatters throughout the job. Most rooms in our house are two colors (walls and trim) and it looks very good.

From the initial phone call, Walter, the owner, was an absolute professional. He worked with me on the timing and assured me that they could cover the strange textured stripes that the previous owner had in one of the bedrooms. His team showed up, worked hard and finished the job in two days. The work is flawless and well beyond my expectations. They left the place spotless, which is always a plus when working with contractors in your home. After seeing how nicely those rooms turned out, I have decided to hire Tapia's Works again in spring to paint some additional rooms in my home.

Walter is the owner of the firm. He came to give me an estimate on time, and then met me at a third party location to get a list of the paint colors selected for the various rooms. Walter and his crew showed up on the first day on time and ready to work. It is an eight room house and the hardwood floors had just been refinished so it was important that there not be any paint splatters on the floor. Walter and his crew finished the job in record time. They worked hard and long hours. The paint job is lovely. All of the lines between the ceiling and walls are straight, there were no splatters on the floor, and no paint on the woodwork. If I noticed a little imperfection here or there, Walter fixed it immediately. Since I was no at the house when it was being painted, he and his crew could have malingered and drawn out the job. However, they did not do that. They are hard working and industrious people. I would recommend his firm to anyone who needs a quality job done painting the interior of the house.

This was my first experience using Angie's List to find a contractor and I could not be happier with my experience. I selected Tapia's Works Inc. based on reviews and proximity to my home. My initial email to Walter Tapia (owner and hands on operator) was responded to immediately and I had a quote in hand in 48 hours. I had a short window to get the job completed as I was having a number of guests stay at my home for an upcoming weekend. Walter adjusted his schedule to get the job complete in time and they actually finished earlier than expected. The quality of their work was fantastic. They took extra time to repair pock marked plaster walls and a hole in the wall in the bedroom, walls that two other painters had try to fix up for me in the past. They're beautiful now! They also painted a radiator in the bedroom and it turned out much better than expected due to the meticulous effort of Walter's worker. The living room, which has three large windows in a bay in the front and alot of other trim on doorways and floorboards, really turned out great. The walls and trim looked like new! They installed a ceiling fan in the bedroom perfectly and upon completion the old fan was all packed up for easy disposal in the trash can. Walter was great to deal with and he always kept his word. He also offered great recommendations on colors and paint finishes that really brought out the best in my home. His workers (1 did the living room and 1 did the bedroom) were extremely respectful of my home, quiet, and left the place spotless each day they finished up. They put in the extra effort that you just don't see much from contractors anymore. This was the fourth painting company that I've had do work at my home since purchasing it in 2005 and I will not be using anyone else as long as Walter is around!

I can not put into words how impressed I am by Walter and his co-workers. First, I will start with the estimate. Of all the estimates I got, Walter was the most detailed. He told me exactly what to expect. He had suggestions for how I should paint a troublesome kitchen. Regarding the window trim, Walter was the most responsive regarding suggestions about how to build the trim. You could tell that he takes pride in his work just from the exchange at the estimate. I have a hard time visualizing and he even made an extra trip just to show me what the trim would look like. I was extremely happy when Walter's written estimate was the most reasonable among those that I got because I knew I wanted to go with him from our initial meeting. I am an EXTREMELY detail oriented person and very particular about the paint job. Walter and team completely exceeded my expectations. They were punctual, considerate, respectful, and did an amazing job with the paint. The lines between the ceiling and wall were impecable. I was most impressed with the amazing job they did with the window trim. In addition they were nice enough to indulge me and replace old fixtures with new ones and replace blinds with curtain rods and do a couple of extra things that they did not have to. Walter was extremely accessible by phone and email. These guys are amazing! They go above and beyond, do quality work that they take pride in, and are pleasant to work with. What more could you want?

From the first phone call, Walter was friendly and cordial. He scheduled his visit to give us an estimate within 48 hours of our phone call. He was prompt and on time. He was also very detailed in presenting the process he and his team would go through to get the best painted results. He also found some additional issues he saw, and recommended ways to fix them by clearly identifying ways to fix them. Walter then sent us an email with an estimate of services via emial for review. We decided to go with his team based on timing and cost. Walter and his team arrived and were very organized from start of day through end of day. At the end of the day, he would advised us on how the job was going from a timing perspective. Upon completion of all of the painting, Walter and his team thoroughly cleaned up the areas they worked in. I can't thank that team enough for getting all of our painting done. I would recommend Tapia's in the future. Great quality work for a decent price with excellent service!

Walter and his crew were great! They arrived when they said they would. They actually finished the job a little earlier than expected, which is always good. I have worked with many painters and these guys are very good at what they do and also extremely clean. They did not leave any mess when they left. Would definitely recommend them.

Walter Tapia and his brothers are not only the best painters I have ever worked with, they are also very simply the best contractors of any kind. Walter painted my condo for 25% less than the next best bid. He was always punctual, available to talk with me about the job, and always delivered what he promised within the time frame he promised. The quality of the paint job was not only professional, it was perfect. And if it wasn't perfect, the first time, Walter made it perfect. And if my other contractors or my floor guy did anything to mess up any existing or new paint finishes, Walter made that perfect as well. Walter talked with me about color and sheens, ultimately resulting in a finished job that is nothing less than beautiful. I have friends who are are professional designers. They were overwhelmed by the quality of the Tapia's work. Needless to say, they now all have Tapia business cards, as do the contractors who were working on the structural aspects of my remodel.

The Tapias gave us a perfect experience. They arrived promptly and worked quickly, were exact and painstaking in the quality of their work, kept the workspace clean and offered helpful advice and several options for addressing our needs.

I found Tapia's through Angie's List. The process went great. They were very professional and did a great job. The pricing was very fair. They were very professional, which was one of the reasons I chose to go with them. They were very responsive to my questions. They were very punctual and arrived on time every day they worked. I had no complaints at all. One of the things I really liked about Tapia's is that they really focused on the detail of the work and did not scrimp on that at all. They were respectful of my time as well.

Walter and his brother did great work in my condo unit. I originally hired Tapia's Works to paint a large ceiling, to repair and touch up intricate crown molding and to repair some dry wall. I was so pleased with the work that was done that I decided to have Walter and his brother return a week later to install crown molding in four rooms of my condo. Needless to say, all work was extremely well. During all of the work in my home, Walter and his brother worked around all the furniture and decorative items throughout. They treated my home with respect and did a fantastic job on everything! I would hire Tapia's Works again in a heart beat!

Walter and his brother Juan are fantastic. Walter responded to a Friday late afternoon email inquiry within 30 minutes. He came to do an estimate within a few days and provided a written copy a few days later. When I didn't respond (because my email account thought it was junk mail) he called back in about a week to inquire. The price was a little cheaper than another bid I got. That combined with the stellar reports on Angie's List I hired him. He's scheduled about 2 weeks in advance. He came exactly on time and was very accommodating to my schedule and respectful of my one bedroom apartment. After one day of work, I arrived home to see that everything had been covered with plastic sheeting to keep the dust off of things. After they completed the work on day 2 if it weren't for the pristine walls and ceilings I would never have known they had been there because they had cleaned up so thoroughly. Walter is a very kind, professional man who has good energy and is willing to go the extra mile for his customer. I definitely recommend him and will use him again.

The guys were mindful of home furnishings and did a good job of covering everything. As a convenience they left the kitchen area usable each evening for the length of the project.

Walter came out approximately 2 weeks ago to provide a quote. Received quote within 48 hours. Reviewed scope of work to be performed one more time before committing. Walter was able to schedule a firm start date (Thursday) and projected completion by the following Monday or Tuesday. He completed all the work to our great satisfaction! We have nothing but the best things to say about Walter and his brother. They did an absolutely fantastic job, and we're already having him quote another job for us (coffered ceilings in our dining room). He's a true professional -- on time all the time, has a great demeanor, and is truly detailed oriented. He's one of those rare people who actually take great personal pride in their work. I'll admit - we were nervous to start the job. We did not know anyone personally that had worked with Walter before -- only his great reviews on Angiest List. Walter came out to give us a quote -- we asked that he call us when he arrived, and he called exactly at the time of our appointment (I'm convinced he came early and waited until the apointment time to make sure he was right on time). We outlined what we wanted done, he took measurements and we had a quote about two days later (he even apologized during his visit and said that he had family in town and wouldn't be able to get us the quote for a few days). We agred to move ahead and Walter came by again to take some additional measurements and show us some crown and chair rail options (he was exactly on time again). He started work on Monday -- again was at our place right on time, and began work with his brother immediately. We live on the 6th and 7th floor (duplex up) and have a service elevator available. Rather than taking the easy way out and cutting the crown and chair railings in two so that they could easily fit in our service elevator, Walter and his brother walked all of the crown molding and trim up 7 flights of stairs so that there wouldn't be any visible seams (something the original contractors didn't do when they installed the baseboard, which Walter pointed out and repaired). It's this attention to detail that really characterized the whole job. As anyone would, we reviewed his work each night. After the first night we were a little concerned -- they had started putting up the crown molding and it became more than obvious that our ceilings were not level (cement ceilings that we had plastered a few years ago). Fast forward a week, and you would never know that it was a tricky job. It looks WONDERFUL. My wife and I are expecting our first child in April and are just thrilled about how it all turned out -- it far exceeded our expectations. We 100% recommend Walter to anyone looking for trim installation, painting, etc. -- a truly wonderful Angies List find.
