it went extremely well ! I was very pleased with the quality of work, professionalism, and follow up Walter and his crew were polite, honest, clean, and did all they said they would do My apartment walls were in very bad shape, and had not been painted in 10 years plus walls and ceilings needed lots of prep prior to painting. after the job started----they also took time to answer my questions

Walter was very prompt in returning calls, showed up when he said he would, cleaned up afterwards, in all was very professional and pleasant to work with. He did an excellent (and quick!) job installing and painting the molding. It looks beautiful, I am very happy with the result.

My first angie's list experience was great. Walter was on time for the estimate and gave a very competitive price. He was able to start a few days later and showed up on time. Their attention to detail was fantastic. They sanded every surface, filled cracks, repaired botched ceiling spackle, caulked, primed, then painted. Everything looks brand new and my home is over 100 years old. The crown molding and chair rail look awesome. I really like that they are a small crew of Walter, his brother, and two more guys. The job went quickly and our house (furniture) was put back together just like we wanted. We will be using them again for another project upstairs in a couple months.

Walter showed up on time for the estimate which was a fair price. He showed up on time to do the work and finished in the promised time frame. He and his workers were very polite and neat and tidy. They did good work and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend this company.

Walter and his crew showed up at the appointed time. They did extensive patching. The previous tenant left numerous holes in the walls and trim. They masked and covered the floors. The apartment looks good. Walter's crew is neat and cleaned up when done. This is the second time we have used Tapia's Works. We will use them again next time.

Walter installed crown molding throughout our 5 room condo. His price included installation, caulking of seams/nail spots, painting of molding and touch up of walls/ceiling. His price was awesome!! And his work is amazing! The molding looks PERFECT! No seams, no gaps, perfect paint job. He was very careful with our furniture and covered everything with plastic. He moved everything for us and moved it all back when he was done. It took approximately a day and a half from start to finish. I just can't say enough about what a great job he did and how excellent it looks. He was very easy to work with and was on time for both the initial estimate and for both days of work at our condo. Totally amazed at the quality and reasonable price. We would definitely use his business again for our future home improvement projects!

I decided to go with another company whose estimate was comparable. The only difference was that we were familiar with the other company's work. I would definitely keep Tapia's Works in mind for another project.

I was looking to get a new paint job done in my new loft and was very pleased with the overall work done by Tapia's Works. Mr. Tapia was very helpful in providing his professional opinion and in answering my questions. The paint job looks amazing and the place was left very clean when the job was completed. I will definitely use Tapia's Works again in any future paint projects.

It was nice because he was able to do the work a day sooner than he originally thought he would. He did the work very well and very inexpensively. They were very professional and responsive to me. He was easily available over the telephone. He was very personable and he encouraged me to ask him any questions. He gave me his cell phone number when I first met him.

We were in the midst of remodeling work in our living room, dining room and foyer. As novice do-it-your-selfers, we had removed a peeling canvas from our 98 year old plaster ceilings. We KNEW immediately we were in over our heads and had the skill to neither repair the ceiling nor replace the canvas. Walter Tapia responded to our call the very next day and came to assess the job. He explained the pro's and con's of repairing the plaster cracks versus replacing the canvas. Based on his advice, we decided to have him repair, prime and paint. He priced the job for us on the spot (Thursday evening). We accepted his bid. His team performed prep work Friday afternoon and evening, and completed the job on Saturday. There were a couple of blisters which Walter inspected on Sunday and repaired on Monday. He has followed up twice to see if we are still satisfied. Additionally, his assistant primed our crown molding which was not in scope for no extra charge. They were very clean and workmanlike, leaving no mess for us to clean up. We were very pleased with the outcome of the work. We highly recommend them and will use them again.

I met Walter when he estimated a job for another company and decided to call him directly for this next job. He was readily available by phone and was on time for the estimate. We agreed on a date and his crew showed up on the appointed day and finished on time. This was a two day job. They finished about 3:30 the next day. The painting looks good. They cleaned up and left some paint for touchups. I thought the price was a little high, $800 for 2 men for 2 days. $500 for materials. We discussed the materials cost and did not agree on the amount of paint needed (I priced the paint and thought the cost should be less than $400), but we decided to go ahead with the job anyway. I have always done my own painting in the past so I have a pretty good idea of the time and materials required to paint this apartment. I did not have time this time to paint because of my day job commitments and it was hard for me to get over paying for someone to paint. Over all I was very pleased with the painting. Walter was able to complete the job within a week. They were neat, cleaned up and the job looks professionally done. Plus I did not have to do the painting myself. Maybe next time I will buy the paint myself. I plan to call Tapia next time I need painting.

Walter was punctual and evaluated what needed to be done immediately. The job was a little unusual, and he had to leave briefly to get some necessary additional materials (blades, I think). He returened promptly, and completed the job. He cleaned up after the work and left the room in very good order. He is also friendly and pleasant to work with. I strongly recommend him.

Walter inspected the apartment on Tuesday, then showed up promptly on Wednesday and Thursday to do the job. It looks great, and he cleaned the place up after the job.

We discussed the details on the telephone. I told him what I wanted and quickly realized that he had the right idea -- better than what I had envisioned. His crew arrived early, set up quickly, and got right to work. They cleaned up afterwards and made sure everything was put back into place. It was a small job, but done very well. It couldn't have gone smoother. I'm really happy with the way it went.
