We were able to negotiate a price that fit my budget. The roofing job was done within a week after signing the contract, was completed in two days, and looks great. I have received favorable comments from neighbors about the workmanship and appearance. The gutter man was excellent. He took the time to clean a lot of roots out of the underground drain pipe to which a downspout was connected. That resolved a water leak in the basement, that we'd had for 15 years. The workers protected my landscaping, even to the point of creating wooden tents over some of the plants. They did a good job of cleanup after the work was done. Everything went very smoothly. I felt that I was able to go to work and come home to a new roof/gutters with no hassle.

It was excellent. They came out to give a quote immediately, were friendly and professional while on site, and once we accepted their bid, came out within a couple days and did the work. And it seemed successful. There was an extremely heavy rain shortly after they finished, and we did not have any signs of leakage.

Appreciated the thoroughness of estimate (free and included picks). Pretty responsive, although sometimes not the most friendly, but friendly enough for roofers.

Paul did a great job of responding to my immediate need while I waited for other roofers to call me back in 24-48 hours. I wanted someone immediately because I had water coming in, and Paul responded. His team showed up that day to get a quote and then the next day to do the work. No leaks since. Great overall experience.

Paul was very prompt on returning my call requesting an estimate for repairs I needed done on my dormer and main roof. Paul came out the next day, and emailed me the estimate with photos taken of the damage that same day. I admit, I first thought his price was pretty high, but then I realized that the estimate included work my back porch. I called Paul and said that I wasn't looking for work on the porch. Paul was understanding, and promptly emailed me a revised estimate. We scheduled the next business day, and the crew came out on time. The crew of two guys worked three and half hours straight. After the work was done they asked if I wanted to go on the roof to see the work. I said no since I have a thing about heights, but I asked if they could take some pictures with my digital camera. They did that, and then took the time to explain to me what they did in each of those photos that they took. This is a company that obviously takes pride in what they do.

Paul and his team did an excellent job of installing new shingles on my house and garage. The price was fair, they showed up when they promised, and completed the project in 1 and 1/2 days. They also did an awesome job of cleaning up afterwards. Paul's team also complied with my bizarre request of installing a rooftop gargoyle. Its the talk of the neighborhood and goes well with the custom vintage style shingles.

They showed up, gave us a very reasonable quote ($350) and completed the work. Less than I expected to pay. They also pointed out some other potential problems that we had them repair and came back later and cleaned the gutters for a small charge. Highly recommend them. They were very quick to respond both times.

The company was responsive and quick. They came out, provided an estimate and did the work in the span of less than a week. They were quick, thorough and clean. I would use them again in the future and recommend them to friends.

Found the crew to be very responsive and professional. They were on time and created minimal mess. I was a bit disappointed that the initial estimate missed a problem around one of the chimneys that cost me another 400$ to fix. Otherwise a great experience.

Have a rolled roof (not shingled) on the back of my house. Some of the adhesive must have gone bad, and recent windy weather had caused some layers to roll-up. Called Mr. Tansey and he repaired the roof within a day. Quality of work was great and a great price.

Paul Tansey was extremely professional and flexible. He met with my husband and I later in the evening to accommodate our schedules. He was very honest about the amount of debris that would exist. We ended up going out of the country while he preformed the work. He left several messages on my home answering machine as well as responding to my e-mails with comments and pictures of the work that had been done. We came back to a very clean environment. There were two things that still needed to be done and he was out the following day to finish it. I would definitely use his services and recommend him, although I do not anticipate having to.

FABULOUS! We called around 10 a.m. on 4/12/06 and the work was started by 11:30 a.m. the same morning! All was completed by 2:30 p.m. and we are superbly satisfied! Wonderful, friendly service at a terrific price! We HIGHLY recommend this company!!!!

Tans was very prompt and responsive. The work was estimated and done within one week. The price was fair. Tans also did extra work requested at a very reasonable price. Very pleased with the work.

Paul Tansey was ON-TIME, EVERY TIME, and went above and beyond what I would have expected in the way of acquiring permits, bringing shingle samples to my office for me to choose from, and finishing the job in record time- as well as cleaning up the entire area as if nothing had ever happened. Even though I'd been satisfied with previous work by Paul Tansey's company I still sought three estimates before hiring him for the full-roof job. His proposal and estimate fell right in line, and I was impressed by his obvious knowledge and experience, ongoing professional attitude and calm demeanor, just as I'd found him to be in our previous dealings. Finally, Tansey's willingness to be flexible and ability to have a top-rate crew available right away to accommodate my timing needs were key factors in my decision. Other contractors I consulted were less readily available, seemingly understaffed or over committed, and were generally not up to Tan's Quality Roofing's quality service standards.

Prompt, courteous and FAST, these guys really knew what they were doing. Tim came out first for an estimate and inspection, he immediately found the source of the leak and did a temporary patch on the spot ( no charge). They promptly provided proof of insurance and bonding. The final cost was close to the estimate. I'm very pleased.

They were very fast and responsive. After faxing the bid over they called a few times just to check in and see if we had any questions. Their customer service was excellent, we did not choose them because of price.

I called Paul on Thursday & said I had a roof leak that had to be repaired and roof inspected and certified for a refinance by a date one week away. He came out the next day and quoted by fax over the weekend. I approved the quote on Monday, while it snowed, and he did the work on Tuesday, between the time the snow was over and the rain was due to begin, and it was all done by Wednesday. And what a nice man! He was patient and helpful (I was a little freaked by my short deadline) and I am definitely going to use him again for my next roofing job.

THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A SERVICE CONTRACTOR. THE SALESMAN, TIM, WHO CAME TO THE HOUSE FOR THE ESTIMATE WAS THOROUGH & PROFESSIONAL. WHEN HE LEFT INSTANTLY HAD MY ESTIMATE , BUT PICTURES OF THE COMPANY DOING OTHER ROOFING JOBS, SO I WOULD UNDERSTAND THEIR ENTIRE PROCESS, COPY OF THE CONTRACTOR LICENSE AND INSURANCE BINDERS, AND SAMPLE SHINGLES TO PICK MY COLOR. WITHIN A DAY OF RETURNING THE CONTRACT WITH THE DEPOSIT, I HAD A LETTER FROM THE OWNER, PAUL ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF MY CHECK, AND APPOINTMENT DATE OF JOB, AS WE WERE HEADING INTO WINTER. THE JOB WAS DELAYED, BECAUSE OF THE COLD WEATHER , BUT MR TANSEY KEPT ME INFORMED OF WHERE WE STOOD, AND GAVE ME IDEAS OF WHEN THEY WOULD START THE JOB. THEN THE WEATHER BROKE, MR TANSEY'S CREW WAS HERE ON TIME AND WERE ALL PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE. I CAN NOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW IMPRESSED I WAS WITH THIS COMPANY. AND I HAVE A WONDERFUL ROOF AS WELL. ALL MY NEIGHBORS HAVE COMMENTED ON WHAT A GOOD JOB THEY DID.

Mr. Tansey was very helpful over the phone, and provided me with references to call before we made a decision. He was very accommodating with being specific as to what they were going to do and with putting it all in writing. Their prices were very reasonable, and they finished the job in one day.
