Starving Artists Movers

Very rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Can't beat the price and movers were professional, friendly, and worked hard. However, they were three hours late which did not matter to us but others on a strict time schedule may have an issue.

eDavid and his dudes have moved me twice, my boyfriend once, and several of my friends. Anytime a friend is moving, I spout off about how excellent their service has been to us. David is flexible, realistic, and a hard worker. He and his guys are wonderful. They're the absolute best for the price, and I'm sure I'll never use another mover or recommend anyone else as long as they're around.

David is a pleasure to work with. They do a great job with no BS.

Guys showed up on time, got right to it, and had everything packed in a jiff. The planning and scheduling all went well before hand, and I felt for the price, I got great service. Nothing was bumped or bruised, everything made it to my destination, and for under what they quoted me. The business is basically a couple of hipsters and their very-together-and-with-it boss, and they absolutely get the job done. Excellent value. Guys are a little stinky, but if that's my only complaint, I'd say they're doing a great job.

It's been an excellent experience. The price is reasonable and we have no complaints on the quality.

Unfortunately, Starving Artists Movers were not professional and did not perform a quality move. There was no significant damage, but they were not that careful with our items. They left dirty handprints on walls and took frequent breaks. They had trouble moving heavy items and I felt that there were a lot of near-injuries. I ended up doing a significant amount of work in order to make sure that things got done on time. I thought that we were saving money and helping out some Starving Artists, but all we were really doing was using amateurs when we should have used professionals.

They did a good job. We enjoyed talking with them because they were all musicians and so are we. The prices are quite reasonable. They were very accommadating. They came out on a short notice.

Our old location was pretty cut and dry and easy getting in and out, but the new location has a spiral staircase going downstairs. They could have used the elevator, and some of the time they did, but most of them they just went up and down the stairs and never complained. I didn't give them enough information about what was going to be moved, and so it took longer than they thought. They were late to another place, but they still never complained. They were never late and always exactly on time. They were friendly. They all spoke English. I could talk to all of them. It was the best movers I have ever used. They really are starving artists, as to my understanding. They charge by the hour, and they charged me $600. I ended up giving them like $1100 because they did such an amazing job with good attitudes. They put things exactly where we asked. It was a horrible, icky, hot day. They were just fantastic. A friend of mine had used them to move her house, and she highly recommended them to me. I have recommended them to others. I have never had movers that never complained and had such great attitudes at the end of it all.
