Description of Work: I found this company on your list and they were excellent. I actually started the conversation with them in 2014 but due to family illness was unable to have the work done. I reached out to them again in 2015 and they still had the original work order. Understandably the price went up in 2015, but not by much. They did extensive masonry work on my chimney and tuckpointing throughout. They were on time, explained everything, cleaned up and were very professional. Please keep them on your list as a top notch provider.

They were prompt in responding to our request for a bid and completed both projects efficiently and with much attention to quality and detail. We trusted them implicitly and it's obvious that they are extremely knowledgeable and take pride in their work. They cleaned up after each day and were a pleasure to have around. I found them on Angie's list and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of masonry work.

+ -1 moreAFTER RECEIVING TWO ESTIMATES FROM OTHER COMPANIES RANGING FROM OVER $5,000 TO DO THIS SAME WORK TO NO WORK NEEDING TO BE DONE ON THE CHIMNEY AT ALL, I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH STAR TUCKPOINTING. THE ESTIMATE FOR THE SIDEWALK WAS IN LINE WITH WHAT I THOUGHT THIS REPAIR SHOULD COST ($600) SO I KNEW THIS WAS THE COMPANY TO GO WITH. I SIGNED THE CONTRACT THE SAME DAY, GAVE THE DEPOSIT AND WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE CALLED IN ABOUT 3-4 WEEKS WITH THE EXACT START DATE. THE COMPANY CALLED WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME AND PERFORMED THE WORK AS AGREED. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND HAVE PLANS TO HIRE THE COMPANY TO POUR A NEW WALK AND PATIO IN THE BACK YARD.

THEY GENERALLY CLEAN UP AFTER THE JOB IS COMPLETELY DONE, BUT IT WOULD BE NICER IF THEY CAN COVER THE AREA SO DIRT DOESN'T SPILL ON YOUR PROPERTY (BBQ GRILL, AIR CONDITIONERS, ETC). BUT IF YOU ASK THE OWNER TO TAKE CARE OF IT, HE WILL MAKE SURE IT'S DONE AND THAT YOU ARE COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE JOB. HE WILL MAKE A SPECIAL TRIP OUT TO SPEAK TO YOU IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED TO MAKE SURE HE UNDERSTANDS THE PROBLEM AND IT IS FIXED TO YOUR SATISFACTION.

Description of Work: OUR CONDO FENCE NEEDED REPAIR AFTER I BACKED MY CAR INTO IT. THE CONCRETE AROUND THE POSTS WAS BROKEN, SO THE FENCE WAS TILTED AND THE GATE WOULD NOT CLOSE. STAR TUCKPOINTING DID A FANTASTIC JOB. THE FENCE IS ACTUALLY BETTER THAN IT WAS. THEY ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO SIMPLY REPOUR THE CONCRETE AROUND THE POSTS, BUT THEN NOTICED THAT THE FENCE ONLY WENT DOWN 4 INCHES. SO THEY WELDED AN EXTRA COUPLE OF FEET ONTO THE IRON POSTS, BEFORE POURING THE CONCRETE AND THE FENCE IS MORE STABLE THAN EVER. WHAT'S MORE, THEY DID NOT CHARGE ANY EXTRA FOR THIS EXTRA SERVICE. THEY STAYED WITH OUR ORIGINAL QUOTE I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN.
