Peter came over one day to examine the bricks and to give us an estimate. He also told us that the work would probably be performed in the middle of October. He emailed us a proposal, which we agreed to and signed. Around October 7, workers from Star Tuckpointing started the work. They finished within a couple of days. They did an outstanding job. They also did a wonderful clean-up job after they finished the work. My husband and I weren't sure that the caulking was done;we thought that Star Tuckpointing might have forgotten to do it. So, I called Peter, who made a special trip over to our house to show us that the caulking had in fact been done.

They are absolute all-stars. They were prompt in all phases and followed up on absolutely everything we asked them to. We were very picky, difficult clients and they handled everything like pros. The work was done quickly and looks great.

Piotr came out and provided the estimate which we accepted in writing about 3 days later. After weeks went by and no one contacted us, I emailed them and Piotr said we were next to be scheduled. They did the work less than one week after that. The day that the work was done, the workers were efficient and thorough. They came on a Saturday which was helpful and spent about 7 hours completing the work. They did a very nice job and you can't even tell there was unmatched mortar there previously. It took 8 weeks from the day of the estimate to the day the actual work was done, but we're pleased with the results.

Were prompt with a very competitive quote. Promised work in about five weeks and completed it within that timeframe. Work was done well in one day and the site was cleaned up nicely. I'd recommend and would use again.

I called Peter and he appeared promptly at the time agreed upon, looked at the work and gave me an estimate on the spot. I agreed and paid half down. He said they could start in about six weeks, and was good to his word, he called six weeks later and set up the time for workers to come. They did excellent work and I would definitely hire them again. The job was completed quickly, with just one snafu: they said they'd be back on the second day, but didn't return and did not call. At noon I called Peter and he quickly checked with his brother, who was arranging for the cement. He called back saying that the cement would be too late for today and that they'd be around the next day. And he was very apologetic. They appeared before 8 o'clock the next day and completed the job. I spoke to Peter's brother and, although he didn't apologize, he was very nice. That evening the work looked perfect and they even repaired a part of an old sidewalk by my garage.

Fantastic. Peter came out within the week and described the work and estimated cost. He told us it would be another five weeks to get them out to our house to do the job but we were not in a hurry. Exactly five weeks later we received a phone call that they would be coming out by the end of the week. They worked for seven hours and completed everything. It looks FANTASTIC!!!

Peter came out promptly and gave a very quick, thorough estimate. The start date for the project was later than I had hoped for, but when the date arrived they were prompt and prepared. A large crew worked very neatly and efficiently, asked questions along the way when needed and finished the entire job in one day. Very professional results and good clean-up.

The company was excellent to work with. The went above and beyond simply rebuilding a chimney. For example, when they noticed a faulty drain pipe while tuckpointing my north wall, they let me know and gave me the option of having them install a new one. I thought Peter was professional, honest and really listens to the needs of his costumers. I will use them again.

This is a FANTASTIC company! From the very first contact through the job's completion, everything was first-rate. Peter replied immediately to my email request for an estimate. He showed up exactly when he said he would, answered my questions, offered professional suggestions and gave me an excellent bid and start date. I was delighted when they called back to say they could do the job a full week ahead of schedule. The crew was wonderful and hard-working. Even though there were workers who didn't speak English, Voytek and Ziggy (the rest of the family) were always on hand or available to translate. Everybody was ''hands-on'' and clearly proud of their craftsmanship. When my job looked like it might be much more difficult than originally anticipated (you never know what you'll find in an old house!), a truly brilliant solution was devised and the problem was solved without an increase in my bill. The finished work was wonderful all the way down to the clean-up.

Peter returned our call promptly and was on the site with an estimate within days. The crew did a wonderful job with the work as they have other times we have used this company. This time they met a very tight deadline we had due to a garden installation at the same location. They built a ''tent'' and worked in pouring rain for 2 days to meet our deadline. Everything about this company is very professional and we strongly recommend them.

The rep was polite. The work was excellent, done in a professional manner, and clean-up was excellent. I feel the request for a 50% deposit left me feeling a bit anxious and I should have refused but didn't. They gave a work date of five weeks, but I had to call them two or three times to remind them of their work date, which was two weeks late.

Fantastic. I love Star Tuckpointing. This family operation is professional, patient, responsible and fast. Their references were impeccable. Plus, our handyman happened to see the finished work and commented how good it was. He wants to use them, too! A friend of mine is also using Star based on my experience with them. Price is about midrange.

From the initial quote through the follow up phone call, this family-run company was professional. They brought a full crew for a larger job to get the work done in one day. Furthermore, they were easily the most competitive in terms of price. The crew was courteous and took great pains to spare the gardens around our home. Peter was very professional and responsive of any questions we asked of him. Star Tuckpointing is a family run busines which uses no subcontractors. Peter, his brother & father were all on sight at some point during the project(at least one of them at all times). The labor team was very efficient and have a high standard in their work ethic. Started project on time and completed in a timely manner. They are a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very timely getting us an estimate. They were able to come out for the job sooner than anticipated which was great. When they called to schedule, they were even flexible about coming earlier so as not to disturb my baby's nap with the work noise. They showed up early which was fine, had great pricing and were finished in a few hours. The wall looks great and they were very neat with cleanup.

Very good company to work with. Gave honest assessment of what work needed to be done. Work was performed as requested and with a minimum of disruption inside. Cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely recommend.

Star was punctual, polite and did the work in two days. The area was cleaned up very well before they left the first night, and when the job was totally finished. The cost was a few hundred dollars less than two other bids that I received.

Peter, his brother and their crew were courteous and professional. Peter honored the quote from the Fall and even gave us a discount because there was a coupon on Angie's list this Spring. They were prompt, did the work requested, and followed up to make sure we were happy. Great service and a great looking sidewalk!

Peter was the salesman very professional. The crew came today and did a wonderful job. They worked through the rain too. They cleaned up so well I thought I would be sweeping up cement for days but they did that. We paid an extra $100 to have a vacuum system and it was very benificial hardly any mess. I would highly recommend this company.

Very efficient and professional work. I made an appointment for an estimate and Peter Kleszcz showed up exactly on time. The estimate was done within 30 minutes. This was a fairly small job that had been rejected by a larger concrete company. Workmen came at the time they said they would and the work was completed within 2 days. They even cleaned up the room under the stairs that they fixed. I am very pleased with Star Tuckpointing and would recommend them and hire them again.

Honest, family business (father and sons) no sub-contractors. superior craftsmanship. Pietr was very responsive and communicated everything very clearly - far better than anyone we'd spoken to. the details...we had seepage in the closet of our master bedroom. It was coming from our chimney. Another Angie's List contractor charged a lot of money to install a new and inferior chimney cap that did not make a difference. We got quotes from five other Angie's List contractors. The only one that was reasonable and made sense was from STAR Tuckpointing. The work involved scaffolding that extended onto our neighbor's property and STAR spoke with them and explained everything. These guys are true professionals. Not only did they accomplish the objective, but they made it look beautiful. We are extremely satisfied.
