Description of Work: We needed to do a minor tuckpointing job on our garage. We noticed some cracks in the mortar around two windows and the side door of the freestanding garage. Peter came out and told us that the old wooden lintels were deteriorating and needed to be replaced. He put together a quote which was slightly higher than one we had received from a competitor, but we used Star anyways because of our previous good experience with them. The masonry team showed up on the appointed day, removed the old lintels and replaced them with steel lintels and then tuckpointed the surrounding mortar to remove the cracks. The work was done in a single day and the team cleaned up after themselves completely. It was an excellent job from our perspective.

Description of Work: In an effort to stop a water leak Star Tuck Pointing did some tuck pointing, caulking, installed new flashing and recapped several split block walls at my house. They were easy to schedule and showed up on time, every time. They went above and beyond my expectations. These guys are amazing and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Capped and tuckpointed chimney south side of home and tuckpointed areas on east and north walls. The work was completed on time and as stated in the quote. I would work with Star Tuckpointing again.

Description of Work: Although we did not select Star Tuckpointing, they were at the top of our list for our 16 unit condo building. We needed a bit of tuckpointing work done and Peter was up to that task. His professionalism, responsiveness and attention to detail left me assured that he is at the top of his game. I look forward to the potential to work with Star in the future as they will be at the top of our bidding list.

Description of Work: Our condo building had tuck pointing and masonry work performed by Star Tuck Pointing Company. Their communication was excellent as well as their professionalism. They ran into some problems once the work was started through no fault of their own. Problems arose from previous roof work the building had done, but Star Tuck Pointing worked with us and came out several times in person to discuss our best options. Once they started the project, they were always here on time, never late, and displayed courtesy at all times to unit owners. We would definitely use this company in the future and would highly recommend their service. They were always cooperative, communicative and displayed utmost professionalism. Great company!
