Description of Work: Star roofers have been my roofers for many years. They have resurfaced my roof, taken care of a lark over my enclosed porch, shoveled my 3rd story roof when I had an ice dam, referred me for a gutter and two needed roof tuck pointing. Brian Major has been consistent and prompt in treating me and my roof well and fairly over a number of years.

+ -1 moreI was referred to Star Roofing by one of my friends. Star Roofing had done their roof and they were very pleased with the quality and professionalism. I called and schedueled an appointment. They came to my house and measured my roof and sent me a proposal within a few days. I called them and schedueled a date to begin the work. The crew arrived when they were suppose to, finished the job in a timely manner, cleaned up around the house and everything went fine. I was pleased with the whole process.
Description of Work: Complete tear off and install new shingle roof.

+ -1 moreHe put in five new fire doors for us too. He also was the general contractor for the basement wiring, a lot of things had to be brough up to code. We are very satisfied with his work. He was easy to get along with, easy to work with, very conscientious. He made sure the inspectors came in to check everything out as well.
Description of Work: The whole area was flooded. We ended up with sewage in the basement of the church that destroyed flooring, carpeting, walls. After the cleaning crew, he came and tore out all contaminated areas. He put in framing, drywall, masonry, doors. The city required new doors.

Description of Work: I asked them to come and give me an estimate for a leak in the roof. It was very visible where the cut in the roof was and it was just a matter of covering the whole/cut. One of the partners, Paul, came to do an estimate. He said that the job was too small to give an estimate and that he could fix it right there. He went to his car to get a piece of rubber and he was trying to melt if with his LIGHTER over the whole to fill it up. It is needless to say that it did not work. After that he said that he will call back and send one of other guys to come and do the work. I have never heard from him again.
