Joanne was prompt, professional and creative. Her suggestions indicated that she was an effective listener and an imaginative gardner. We haven't received her final 'plan' for our gardens, but her spontaneous ideas gave the committee several important things to consider. She was clear about the aspects of our gardens that were attractive and thoughtful about the elements that we could change. She was also sensitive to the budget constraints of our association. Not all landscape services want to work with condos because committee decision making can be so frustrating. Joanne was open to this prospect. Our condo landscaping committee will enthusiastically continue to work with Solstice Gardens to spiff up our curb appeal.

The deal was titled "Landscaping Evaluation and Plans. The business designs gardens. It would be helpful if the Deal Title matched what the company actually does!

They were timely. They listened to what I wanted. My garden is beautiful.

We had purchased a big deal for the service. The sketch was okay, it didn't blow me away. They did what they said they were going to do. I liked that they seemed to be very creative, and they would make it look really good, which is what I wanted. I would have liked a quicker turn around, but the owner was having a baby at the same time, and so I understand. I was happy with what they did. I decided not to implement the sketch yet, because we are not going into winter.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It went well. We used the big deal for the design but we didn't go further. It took a while longer to get the design back but it was still a reasonable time. It was 1 1/2 weeks or 2 weeks. It was basically exactly what we expected. Based on their estimate they were higher priced than what we would probably go for but we would consider them if we were going to do the work that they did the design for. We would also consider others.

The design was well done and the estimate was reasonable.

It went well. It was VERY hot the two days they did the work which may be why it took longer than first estimated. Joanna was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. She also seemed to have a good understanding of plants and maintenance. She used some very interesting plants and flowers. She was very responsive to my suggestions and change requests. Her crew was very nice too. I wasn't concerned about leaving them unsupervised (by me).

Solstice Gardens is much better than having some big landsccape company. It's such a personal experience. They are like a good interior artist that knows your style and doesn't redo everything with their style

They do excellent work. They were on time and their prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. They are very pleasant and easy to work with. They haul everything away and are very clean.

I wanted low maintenance and native plants. The design was perfect. A couple of plants didn't come back, i think because of the drought and they are replacing them this year. Very responsive to what I wanted and had great ideas when I wasn't sure. Did hard work like taking out old bushes and getting rid of invasive Day Lilly's and Lilly of the valley. Also got rid of a lot of creeping Charlie. My garden is beautiful and low maintenance!!

This is our third year using them and they always do what they say and call if going to be late or a change in day that they will come that week.

They were creative, imaginative, carefully to stick to budget, always on time and courteous, and very careful to listen to my wishes and translate them into a more creative reality. One of the partners is an canvass artist and the other is a photographer and they combine these artistic skills with down to earth practicality. They were very pleasant to work with and I am delighted with the results.

As part of end-of-season cleanup, they helped me rethink my garden after extensive construction work. Their ideas were good, and they performed the work efficiently and thoroughly.
