Description of Work: After hearing about a bad experience I had with a different cleaning service, Agnes kindly gave me a free first cleaning with her company. I was extremely impressed. My condo was thoroughly clean. Dealing with Agnes is a pleasure. She quickly responds to emails and, if she says she'll contact you on a certain day, she will. The price for future cleanings is very competitive and affordable. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Full house cleaning. She did a nice overall job but it was far from the deep cleaning I asked for. I have a 1,000 sq ft condo and with 3 hours to clean, I expected more attention to detail. Kitchen countertops were streaked, stainless appliances streaked, some areas well dusted but others not. She was very pleasant and did an overall good job, I just didn't exactly say "Wow" at the end.

Description of Work: I hired this company to help me out with cleaning due to my severe arthritis. Initially they were fabulous. I connected immediately with the owners who I feel are honest and very hard working. Unfortunatel, over time things began to slip. Work was not completed and/or shoddy. The maids do not speak English so communication was poor. Each time I had someone different so that teaching and showing how I expected things to be done was pretty useless. Finally I decided to end our business relationship. I was very up front with the owners and they responded immediately. They reached out to me to figure out how to make things better and agreed to send the same two folks to clean. That solved many problems in that I no longer had to attempt to teach each arrival how to meet my expectations. I was very clear about my expectations, and they were very amenable to my suggestions. I also learned that they were experiencing many changes in their staff that they had addressed to improve service. I believe this company and the owners are reliable, open to your concerns and happy to improve anything they can. The folks they send out are honest and now, hard working. I am extremely pleased with Sincerely The Maids at this pont and I credit the owners for caring about their reputation and the service they now provide. My rating only reflects how I felt before corrections were made. I would recommend them to anyone at this point.

Description of Work: Responded quickly by email. Got the initial consultation visit date and time confused. Came on the wrong day. Changed cleaning time on me for the first cleaning. Cleaning was fine. No complaints. Offered a free cleaning for a second time. I scheduled the second time in the hopes of continuing to use them. They canceled the morning of that cleaning. I did not figure that out until I waited around and they did not arrive. I then checked my email to find a cancellation email. I really wanted to use them and like them, but it just did not work out.

Description of Work: I have now used this service for over a month and I am exceedingly pleased with the owners and their workers. They came out to meet me and go over my needs prior to being engaged and the work they perform is of the highest standards. I recently had bilateral knee surgery and am unable to kneel as of yet. They cleaned my oven for me which I normally do myself and the work was excellent. I am so grateful for Angie's list for the opportunity to employ these great people. If I want anything done, I need only ask. While the woman who comes to clean my house speaks only Polish, she is driven here by Mark who speaks English and tells her anything I need her to know. Also, Agnes, the owner and her spouse both speak excellent English and are available by phone or by email. A really nice thing they do is to provide me initially with a list of cleaning products that they prefer. This makes it very handy to refer to and to purchase what may be needed. I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for quality work and friendly people.

Description of Work: I contacted this cleaning service to get an estimate and schedule a cleaning, and received an email from one of the owners who offered to come to my home to give me an estimate. The visit was scheduled nearly 2 weeks ago and was to take place last week, but when I emailed the owner to confirm the meeting early that morning, she suddenly needed to reschedule for the following Monday, which was a holiday. I asked that we reschedule for after the holiday, but it's been a week and I've had no response from her. I guess this company isn't eager to acquire new customers!

Description of Work: Agnes and Konrad have been doing my house cleaning for the past 3-4 months. In addition to the cleaning, Konrad has performed some other issues of repair around my house such as caulking a shower and repairing a sink that was clogged and draining poorly.

She is very flexible in what cleaning preferences you have, for instance if you want all of you linens washed on one particular cleaning or your windows cleaned. She will do her best to accomodate as well as give a great overall cleaning to your place.
