This company is very reasonable as far as pricing is concerned, and very professional and flexible. I will occasionally ask them to change around our pre-set cleaning dates or add-on extra work, and they never fail to work with me to make it work. Agnes is very prompt in returning emails / phone calls, and she always send a confirmation email 2 days before they are scheduled to come and clean. I absolutely love coming home after they've been in my house b/c they do a wonderful job and the entire house smells fantastic. They've gently recommended many different cleaning products and I've been happy with all of them, and happy to buy them for their usage. Having just bought a home, it's such a relief to know and work with someone like Conard who can do some basic house / repairs (listed above) --and they never even charge extra for this! I'm extremely happy and grateful that I found this service. I've very rarely had such a positive experience with service companies / people (and I've had a LOT of interaction with them since I bought a house and have needed replacement hot water heater, dishwasher repairs, plumbers, electricians, landscapers etc, etc, etc) I will continue using Sincerely the Maids as long as I'm living in Chicago and they're around and willing!

Easy from begining to end: easy to arrange, easily taken care of. There was a hiccup in the original timing arrangements (entirely my fault) but they were very accommodating and we rescheduled. The amount of work one person can do in 4.5 hours is mind-boggling. Even though we have a "regular" cleaning woman, the place got scrubbed like it's never been before. We were very pleased.

This was the second cleaning by Maria who "loves to scrub things." She began two weeks before, deep cleaning two bathrooms. The service is outstanding. Agnes, Conrad, and Maria know the difference between "cleaner" and "really clean," and they care about getting things really clean. They are also friendly and eager to help. I am scheduling regular service. Our apartment was very very dirty and messy. Maria has made a huge dent in the dirt and that gave me the motivation to work on the clutter. I'm happy.

We found Konrad & Agnes services via Angie's List about 6 months ago. I am very remiss in writing this review. My fiance and I have been nothing but thrilled with the service they provide. Up until February, they came every 2 weeks. Always very punctual, very professional in their communications (an email confirming each cleaning appointment), always doing an excellent job. With a layoff in February, we had to change to once a month. Their work is still spectacular. Konrad fixed a hole in our plaster wall during their first couple of visits. He even had all of the tools and materials needed. I too am glad that we can provide the cleaning materials as other reviewers have mentioned. They are very careful not to use more cleaning product or paper towels than necessary. They always clean up and put the vacuum and mops away. They've even taken their garbage out for us! They always wash our sheets and make the bed for us. (This is a HUGE timesaver for me!) I can't say enough great things about Sincerely The Maids. Definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

Love them! So good, punctual, accommodating. They clean once a month. Took a while to get the scheduling down. Started at Thanksgiving and they actually came Thanksgiving morning to clean and did a fabulous job! Since then I have had to change the person that has come to clean, but now we've got it right! She is wonderful! Can't say enough good things about the company and the owners, Konrad and Agnes!

I found this company on Angie's List a few months ago and started using them to clean my house every other week. They are extremely professional and courteous. They do an outstanding job cleaning, and I'm very happy with them. They send me an email the night before they coming to tell me what time they will be there. I'm very happy with their cleaning services. Last time they came, I also used them to clean all the carpets in my house. They gave me as estimate when they came to clean. I am extremely pleased with the way my carpets turned out. One of the best carpet cleaners I've used in my house, and they worked very fast. I will continue to use this company to clean my house and for future carpet cleaning.

Agnes and Conrad initially came out did a good cleaning and because they did a nice job I use them regularly now at home and also at work. They are very conscientious and when I have brought things to their attention they are addressed immediately. I would highly recommend them.

The owners of the company came to give me an estimate and were very nice. That is as important as the work they supply! I was not able to start using their service right away, but when I finally set up a date I was very pleased with the work. We had kept in touch via email and they always responded quickly. The cleaner who came was just as nice and did an excellent job. She was very thorough and even cleaned places I didn't expect her to do! Everything has been made to shine and is now clean. I made an appointment to have her come back! I would recommend Sincerely The Maids for good cleaning service. I am happy that I found them - thanks to Angie's List!

Agnes and Conrad first visited our home during the week after both phone and email contact established a convenient time, despite the snow storm! Their visit to estimate the cost of occasional housecleaning for us was very pleasant. When I explained that I was unhappy with the previous service I had received, they asked for details about what I had found unsatisfactory. I was impressed by that; they obvioulsy wanted to do better. At one point, being intrigued by having a male in this line of work, I asked Conrad if he also cleaned. His response was that he really was good at bathrooms! Finally we were told the price and also informed that as first time users, we would receive a $20 discount - a fact I had seen on the website but forgot about until they brought it up. The cleaning team arrived on a Saturday when I was at work but my husband was here and reported that everything went smoothly. Two people cleaned for 3 hours. When I returned home, I immediately saw and felt the difference in my home. I have to say that it hasn't looked that good for some time, probably since I clean in fits and starts, rarely getting to all the rooms in one go. I am delighted with Sincerely Maids except for one detail. Their business card shows a stereotypical image of a woman with a short skirt and apron and maid's cap, bending over slightly with duster in hand. That kind of sexist imagery seems very out of keeping with my experience of the people providing the estimate and the service. Although the business card will not prevent me from using Sincerely Maids again, I suggest they look for a different, more contemporary look.

I am still deciding if I want to keep them, I may just do the work on my own. The work is okay, the first time they came I needed a good cleaning because I had been in the hospital. They charged a little more for that and they did a pretty good job, I was impressed. Since then, since it's just a monthly cleaning I've noticed it's a quicker cleaning and they don't catch everything. I wouldn't say it's sloppier. I don't know if I paid more and asked for more then I would get more, I haven't done that - I just let it go. I'm still in the decision phase. They are very nice and do the job, I don't have any complaints that way. Maybe I'm just too fussy, it's hard to watch someone else clean your own house. I've had other cleaning services that charged a lot more.

Agnes is timely in her email responses to cleaning requests. Because she is gone during the day at jobs, she typically responds in the evening. She is quite flexible in scheduling, and her team is willing to work beyond normal business hours to get a job done (i.e. until 8 pm Saturday evening!) She and her husband Konrad are very friendly, professional, and experienced in & knowledgeable about their trade. Their prices are fair and sometimes negotiable depending on the job. Konrad used to have his own construction business, so this experience comes in handy when there are issues with a home's construction/design that may impact cleaning. For example, one of the maids called Konrad while washing our floors, worried that they didn't look clean no matter how much she worked on them. He diagnosed the problem because he had recognized that our contractor made some mistakes in the refinishing process (which we had been aware of.) We were pleased that their staff was concerned enough call Konrad and that he was knowledgeable enough to understand the problem. Other reviews mentioned that the cleaners do not always arrive on time, and this is true (they cleaned for me once before) - but they always call ahead to inform you. One possible way to address this is to leave them a key so they can come and go at their convenience. They are juggling several cleaning assignments and can't always predict how long a project will take. Our condo looked great when they finished. They suggested they return soon to do another deep cleaning to get rid of all the construction dust (it gets stirred up during the first cleaning then a fine layer settles back on surfaces after several hours.) Their prediction was correct so we will have them back to finish. We will likely hire them for regular maintenance cleanings.

Konrad is very friendly, organized everything, and is fluent in English. The team took total charge, the cleaning was very thorough, spotless, and it was all very gorgeous. They were very eager to ensure I was happy with their work. Nothing was left behind for me to clean up. They were very flexible about scheduling. I had to reschedule them a few times because my floor sanding guys schedule had changed. They communicated effectively via email about answering questions and re-scheduling. I have already scheduled them to "deep" clean my basement next month.

Agnes proposed to do the cleaning twice due to the dust. It turned out to be a smart move because after the first round, the dust in the air resettled on all the surfaces again. The second round seems necessary for this kind of cleaning project.

Fantastic experience all the way around. They were very responsive from the beginning, and they were extremely efficient and hardworking. They made sure they did everything I requested. They take great pride in their work, and their work ethic is wonderful. I was injured and called them with a one-time plan, but after the experience, I am looking to fit them into my budget for the year. I recommend them without hesitation.

I had emailed they about an estimate. They emailed me within the same day and we set-up a time to meet. That day I had to rush to an appointment I had forgotten about, but i still wanted the estimate. they came in quickly and observed and then emailed me that same day about an estimate. today they cleaned and made the cabinets look like new as well the refrigerator. it took them about five hours overall. they are very nice and pay attention to detail. given i called several places and have various estimates, while they weren't the cheapest--almost but not quite--i appreciated their first time customer discount but most all of their punctual communication and professionalism. i would definitely refer them to friends and use them again.

Sincerely the Maids came to our place about 3 weeks before we moved to provide an estimate. They were on time and got back to us promptly with an estimate that was in line with others we had received. We originally scheduled for one date but had to move it which they were very accommodating of. On the day of service I had intended to stay home around to watch them clean but after realizing (a) that my place was empty and (b) they had given me a few reasons to be confident I decided to leave them there alone and head across country. About two hours later a received a call from Agnes that they were wrapping up. She also informed me that I'd left an entire tray of silverware in our kitchen. I offered to pay them to have it shipped to me and she refused to take my money for shipping. Unnecessary, but very classy. Meanwhile, the buyers had their walk-through with our listing agent a few hours later and I was of course a tad nervous since I had no way of knowing how well they had cleaned. Turns out I had nothing to be worried about as shortly after I received this email from our Realtor... "Whoever cleaned did a great job and the buyers were very impressed." Can't really say much more than that. Thanks Agnes and team for a job well done.

I first called Sincerely the Maids because we had had some remodeling done in our master bathroom and I was overwhelmed trying to get rid of all the drywall dust. I also was looking for a little extra help during a busy summer. Agnieszka and Konrad came over to give me an estimate within a few hours of when I called, and they started the next week. Not only did they get the drywall dust out, but they cleaned the house far more thoroughly than a normal weekly cleaning. They did several loads of laundry, dusted the ceiling fan and cleaned the oven without being asked. Konrad also recommended a couple of products to have on hand the next time so that he could remove glue residue from a few surfaces. He even replaced a broken toilet seat after I bought the new one. My only complaint was that they had trouble estimating rush-hour traffic times, so they were often 30 minutes to an hour later than planned. However, they always called to let me know where they were. Overall, I highly recommend them.

They have been exceptional, and are coming back now on a weekly basis. We have had various cleaning people/services throughout the years, and they are the best. They are very diligent, punctual and considerate. We could not recommend them more highly. Thank you Angie's List for providing their contact information!

They were always late and never on time. The first time they were here they said it will take them 2-3 hours to clean the whole house. It usually takes me about 1-1/2 hours to deep clean a bathroom. He was in my bathroom for about 15 minutes. They had not cleaned the tiles or removed the soap scum. I asked him to go back in and he did it poorly again. Then he did not clean the tile or do a good job either. So, I told them to forget the bathroom and asked them to vacuum. When he said he was done, I checked and they did not do a good job. I found them taking food from my refrigerator like food and beer and then they were eating a piece of pie from the refrigerator. I was disappointed with their service and their attitude. When I asked her to dust things, she would stand back and dust to not have the dust get on her. Everything had to be coached! I was extremely disappointed and I will never have them again. Personality wise they were very friendly but professionally, they were horrible.

I couldn't believe they could get the condo to look like our renters were never there.

Have used them for multiple regular cleanings now.

I contacted the Maids over the phone and they came out and gave me an estimate that I was happy with. We then set up a service date and they showed up and did what was promised and more. I was really pleased with the whole experience and will use them again.

They did a very nice job. Will hire them again.

Agnes and Conrad arrived on time. They listened to my instructions as it was their first time at my place. They quickly initiated the cleaning and were very professional. They were willing to even do extra things. One of my bifold doors had come off its track and Conrad placed it back on the track. They were very open to pleasing me and suggested that I could e-mail them with specifics instructions that they would print and bring with them for their next visit. I appreciated how well they cleaned and how very responsive they were. I highly recommend them and will use them again.
