Sincerely the Maids

I was really pleased with this small company--I called them at the last minuted, on a Friday to clean my new apartment before my truck full of stuff arrived on Monday. Initially the owner and her husband came for an estimate. They were quite thorough with their walk through and how I wanted things done. The next day, one cleaner and a driver showed up to work on the house. When they were finally done about 6 hours later, it was the husband again meeting with me and doing a walk through, describing in detail what they had done and how hard it was to clean the bathrooms (which had lots of hard water/soap scum deposits), detailing the use of vinegar, bleach, about 6 different techniques to try and get the showers and bathtubs clean. The wood floors were sparkling, the apartment smelled fresh, but not overpoweringly like cleaning supplies, I was REALLY impressed. The one downside is I wish the owner would have used her cell phone to keep me in the loop. She preferred email, which was fine as I have a smartphone, but still I had asked her to call me and keep me up to date and she didn't. On top of everything, not only did they give me the discount from the coupon they listed on Angie's list, but because I was moving back to Chicago after almost 20 years, they gave me a "welcome back home" $20 discount, which was wonderful! In all, they did a great job.

She is responsive via email (don't use phone) and offered to come out for an estimate, but said I'd like her to just come out and clean it for a set price which she did. I asked that she bring all supplies and do a more-thorough-than-usual job including inside and on top of Kitchen cabinets, etc. She came in 2 days as promised and did a very good job. I'd definitely use Sincerely the Maids again.

They came out and reviewed everything and provided an estimate. They were prompt and very conscientious. The assigned cleaner seemed to be having an off day so the owner whisked through and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. They also gave me a free second cleaning and sent one of their top people that day. Everything was done extremely well!!!

I have been having Agnes and Konrad clean my apartment, and now my house, for a couple of years now and I LOVE them. Agnes always emails the day before they come just to confirm and remind me. WHen I need to reschedule, they are so understanding and happy to accommodate. They are friendly and do a fantastic job cleaning my house, which gets pretty dirty with my dogs running around. Speaking of the dogs, the cleaners are always to nice to them! I would recommend them to anyone. Very fair pricing and phenomenal customer service.

The owners came to do a quick walk-thru to determine the level of service I was looking for and to provide me with a price once we had discussed my needs. Later that evening the cleaning woman showed up to clean. She was polite and got right to work. The owners had communicated the cleaning supplies to her and had told her what rooms needed to be cleaned. She took approximately 2 hours to clean the necessary rooms and did a good job. I had called Sincerely the Maids late in the week, so I appreciated their ability to accomodate my schedule and to clean the Condo on a Friday night. Their price was very fair and they were very concerned with my happiness. I was pleased all around and would use them again.

WONDERFUL! Everything (kitchen, baths, floors, furniture) is squeaky clean and in excellent order. It was like a fairy godmother came and re-made my house. A real gift to my peace of mind and the health of my whole family. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I was having a birthday party on Saturday and had had 2 surgeries since January. The house was extremely dusty and I knew I would not be able to clean the whole house even if I started early. Agnes and Konrad came to look over the job and gave me an estimate. I called and spoke to Agnes on Thursday and set up for someone to come out Friday. They were professional and were able to set up the service on short notice. The lady worked very hard as there was months worth of dust. The lady who performed the service worked unbelievably hard and cleaned very thoroughly. The whole job lasted about 4 hours and she did not stop once. She left at 9:00 pm. I was surprised that they were able to take care of this at the last minute, surprised and grateful!

I emailed Agnes on Friday asking for help with my move out cleaning. Her respond was fast and after few emails they come very next day to clean! I appreciate a LOT!My duplex sparkle.All appliances inside and outside, floors super clean, no more mass and what value the most I got my security deposit back!Thanks a lot Agnes!

I contacted several firms that were highly rated on Angie's List. These folks were the fastest responders. They offered to come take a look, and then they provided a written estimate. Every step of the way, they did what they said they would do, and they did it on time. The cleaning itself was accomplished by a third employee. One of the owners came to meet me at the end of the cleaning to make sure everything was satisfactory. He helped me carry my last few things down to my car. He suggested that i pay him via PayPal as it would be easiest for everybody. Agnes and Konrad really could not have been more attentive and responsive. I will absolutely use them again. There is no reason to look any further for a cleaning service in the northern Chicagoland area.

We bought a new home (2 stories, finished basement), and needed a thorough cleaning before move-in. Having never used a cleaning service before, we of course found Sincerely the Maids through Angie's list. Their "A" rating was absolutely true! They provided us with a prompt estimate, was responsive and very accommodating to our busy schedule, and they did a fantastic job! They even adjusted their estimate downward after the work was finished - - honest, professional, courteous ... I cannot recommend a better company!! A big thank you to Conrad and Agnes, the husband and wife team behind Sincerely the Maids.

Agnes and Konrad came to look over the job and give me an estimate. They were professional and were able to set up the service on short notice to accommodate my schedule. The people who performed the service worked unbelievably hard and cleaned very thoroughly. It was planned for two days, and they came for two days. The first day, the cleaner left about 9:00pm! I plan to have them come back!

We are completely satisfied with the job that was done. Two people arrived shortly after 10AM and work commenced at 10:30AM. They were finished by about 2:45PM and when they left, our apartment was sparkling clean. We have more "things" than we have space to put them in. These "things" include many collectible family heirlooms and breakables. They were very careful to ask us - in advance - what they could and couldn't move, and which cleaning products they were to use in each room. They were very professional and methodical - and important to us - pet friendly (we have cats and a dog). Our dog loved them both and tried to play with them with his toy. Each time he did so he got a sweet little pat on the head. Neither my husband nor I are as neat as we could be, but right after Sincerely The Maids left, we both said that we didn't think our place has ever been this clean. They exceeded our expectations.

I needed to have my one bedroom one bath cleaned before my renters move in so i called Sincerely maids the week before to arrange for service (never used them before, found them on angie's list here). Agnes called and made arrangement to take a look at my place with Conrad that week to give me an estimate. They were on time and gave me a quote right a way. Agnes, Conrad and Mark showed up on time on the service date (we had a snow storm that day too) and worked non stop for 3 - 3.5 hours. The place was sparkling clean and smelled extremely nice. They were funny, friendly and professional. Definitely will use them again!!

Everything always goes well. They are very thorough and always inspect their work to make sure everything is what I want.

I think they do a good job. They are very thorough especially the owners. I haven’t used anybody else and so I haven’t compared their prices to anyone else. I’m happy with their price though. I will use their services again in the future.

I don’t remember how much I spent on their services but I’m very happy with them. I’m going to use them again because they do a great job. As far as the price is concerned, I guess its okay otherwise I wouldn’t use them. I really don’t remember how much they charged. I highly recommend them and they are just very nice. They try to work with you regarding time and whatever you want to have cleaned and stuff. They are very nice about it. I just really like them. They are very friendly and they try to adjust to your schedule. They do a great job. I will use their services again in the future.

Fantastic - responsive, professional, skilled in numerous trades, helpful and all around wonderful to have around. I can't believe the depth of their knowledge about carpentry, slate, marble, pretty much everything they touch. I can't remember being around more personable and helpful people. Many many hours were spent cleaning that place and they never seemed to be the least bit phased by the astronomical task. Unbelievable job and incredible customer service.

I needed the walls washed in preparation for painting my 3-bedroom condo in Lincoln Park. It was a big, ugly job I couldn't do myself. I found "Sincerely the Maids" on Angie's List and selected them because of their high rating. I made the right choice. I made all the arrangements with Agnes Sulima, their general manager, through email (which is always my preference). She was able to meet my schedule and start the work almost immediately. And the work that was performed was impressive. Some of the walls looked so good I wondered if they really needed repainting! Hard working, diligent, people were sent to do the work. On top of that, the supervisors gave me wonderful recommendations on how I should proceed with the other work need to prepare my place for sale. I highly recommend "Sincerely the Maids." Your house will never look so good as when they finish with it.

The cleaning went okay. First, they had to delay the appointment by 3 hours. I appreciated them calling in the advance to warn me/make sure it was okay, but they still came an hour after the adjusted time. As described, Agnes and her husband did not themselves clean, but they brought another gentleman and woman. The woman did not speak any English, and the man was only briefly told about the job. I was planning on running some errands while they cleaned, but I got the feeling they would need me to direct them. While in the haste of trying to explain things while they cleaned and trying to communicate with someone who doesn't speak English, some of the original spots discussed were missed. In addition, I noticed they had put some scratches on our hardwood floor. Finally, I did tell them to bring their own supplies, but they had not brought enough and ended up using all of my paper towel supply. I explained to the proprietors the issues, and they offered me a lower price that was lower than anyone else would have charged. I appreciated (and accepted) the gesture, but would have preferred to not have the issues describe above. Outside of those issues, the quality of the cleaning was very good.

"Sincerely the Maids" ...REMARKABLE! I'd tried other companies a few times, but the "deep cleaning" was really just surface cleaning. This was the "deep cleaning" of my sizable 2 bedroom apartment I'd always hoped for, but doubted it'd ever get. I scoured "angie's list" to find the right company... and I finally did. I called "Sincerely the Maids" and left a message, but I didn't hear back immediately. I was eager, so I decided to email them and Agnes responded right away. That was on a Friday afternoon. We agreed that they would come over to do an estimate the next Wednesday evening. Agnes and her husband Konrad arrived on time. They are a friendly young couple who run their own business. They came from Poland 12 years ago and are very grateful to be living in America and they speak fluent English. Then it was time to look over my place which I had admittedly neglected and cluttered (exacerbated by a year of knee pain and recent surgery and recovery), but was deep in the process of purging and sorting so stuff was everywhere. I thought I'd feel quite embarrassed but Konrad and Agnes were so kind and positive. They even assured me that my cat's beautiful long fur and the aftermath of her indiscretions (not approving of the litter box placement and showing me where it should have been) were "no problem, we'll clean it". That must be their mantra. They are very flexible about scheduling and we agreed that they'd return a week from that Friday because I wanted to TRY to get my projects out of the way. Life, of course, got in the way and I did not get to 2 of the rooms. Konrad and one of their employees, Teresa, arrived on time. Konrad bursts with energy and enthusiasm. Teresa speaks just a bit of English but Konrad is your go-between. He went in and out 2-3 times because he is checking over his other employee's work. They seem to really want to do quality work and to please the customer. He looked around and he helped me quickly move the numerous items in the 2 unfinished rooms out of the way. He and Teresa threw out (it's a 3rd floor walk-up) amazing amounts of trash (including a 3-4 foot pile of old work catalogs), got rust stains I couldn't budge out of the toilet, moved a large piece of furniture into a different room and on and on. Any time I'd ask if they could do something I was told it was not a problem. In fact Konrad can do lots of handyman chores (such as hanging pictures). At the end of the work, he is there and checks to see that all is done correctly...and another burst of work and energy ensues until all is done to Konrad's and my satisfaction. If this all sounds frenzied, it isn't. Konrad gets things done quickly but calmly and really listens to what you have to say. Teresa worked and worked quietly. I've already scheduled another appointment to keep me on this neat and clean path, and then will arrange for bi-weekly cleaning. I'm thrilled to have found "Sincerely the Maids"!

Having been in my condo for 5 years, I felt it was time for a deep cleaning. I searched Angie's List and well as the interent but was unable to find a provider who serviced the Washington Park/HydePark area until I contacted Sincerely the Maids. They came out beforehand to see what work I wanted done in my 2 bedrooms 825 square ft condo. The following week the maid came out and cleaned the place from top to bottom. She even moved the sofa and removed all the dust bunnies. I plan on using this service in the near future.
