Our garage door chain came off the track, and it had happened before, and we called out another company. Second City reached out to us right away after the inquiry. Mind you, we did contact the company we used before they could not come until tomorrow, and my husband didn't want to wait. The customer services at Second City were excellent, our tech took his time to show us what the real issues were along with the wear and tear on the door bracket myself and my husband was happy with the service offered and the information rendered. I can say they didn't try to sell or give us a quick fix; they took the time to show us what was going on physically and provide options with and recommendation. It wasn't a sales pitch; it was honesty; the actions of taking the extra time to show us and explain the problem without a doubt my husband and would do business with them if we need too. We look forward to recommending them to family and friends.

Great service

Our garage door opener had stopped working Sunday night. Second City garage repair called me back right away and had the garage door working before noon the next day along with maintenance on the rest of the system. All of this was done for about $100 cheaper than I thought it would be. I really cannot think of anything they could have done better.

I was calling garage door service/installation companies because of the issues I was having with my opener and came to terms the idea that I need to buy a new opener. I mean it was manufactured in 2002, it's probably time. Juan Loza came out and within a couple of minutes of reviewing my unit and what it was doing, he determined what the issue was. He informed me that the unit is fine and told me what the issue was. He provided a couple of solutions, that also saved me money! I had a very positive experience with Second City. Sapphire (the office manager) quickly replied to my bid request, was very open and transparent about the estimate and what we could expect during the repair and afterwards (including warranty information). They arrived at our garage within a half-hour after I indicated we had selected them for the repair, and the work was done within an hour. They spent the time to explain options and pricing when they arrived (e.g., repairing components instead of replacing them--we went with replacements to be on the safe side), explained what had been done when they were finished, and gave advice about ongoing preventative maintenance and potential (but not urgent) issues the door might have in years to come. I 100% recommend Second City. Anytime we have an issue with this door, they will be the company we call.
