Description of Work: Painted approximately 80 pct of my condo, including some plastering. This is bi-level condo with very hi ceilings over stairs. Job fully completed in less than one week. Work was carefully done. Painters were very neat and punctual, arriving everyday at 7:50 a.m. Sam. Has a great eye for colors and decorating. He's a perfectionist...and I loved it! This was not my first time using Sam. Each time has resulted in a great ending.

+ 0 moreI have never seen a wall done by Sam Sabovic Professional Painting & Decorating fail prematurely unless damage was caused from another source (like exterior water infiltration or broken pipes). In fact, our building, a vintage co-op, recently created a preferred vendor category which so far is a list of only Sam. Many shareholders are even willing to pay the difference if a lower estimate bid is chosen for work in their units. I feel strongly that "no one but Sam touches my walls." Sorry this is vague. I just think a skilled craftsman in a dying art must be treasured.
Description of Work: All dates and prices approximate - it was a while back. Sam Sebovic and his team have done several plastering and painting jobs in my apartment and in my parents' apartment in the same old building. They are unfailingly excellent, able to complete every aspect of maintenance and repair for our vintage metal lath plaster walls. Because I like to paint, I have sometimes asked them to repair the wall and prime it and leave the final decorating paint for me to complete. Sam indulges me on this. Not many painters would facilitate a process that effectively costs them money!
