Charles and his team were prompt and professional. Our pool could not be bonded in the manner the village wanted, Charles worked closely with the village inspector to ensure there were no surprises at inspection time. Would definitely hire again.

Unprofessional as a man answered my call and asked if he could call me back in 5 minutes and I said yes. He never did call me back and so I assume he was too busy or ..... Therefore, I would not call Safe Electrical Service again.

I called this company twice and left messages for Charles Otstatt of Safe Electrical Service to call me about the job. He never called me back. Very disappointing.

It was fine. They were here at the time they said they would be. To me, they should have known exactly when I called them what they are doing to clear up a problem where they wouldn't have to come out a second time and clear that problem up again. The same problem.

Charles and another electrician came to give an estimate, and ended up doing the work at that time. The work was handled quickly and efficiently. Charles packed up the old chandelier for me to give to another family member. I've used this company before, and I highly recommend Safe Electrical.

I did not use them. Their pricing was horrible. It would have required wiring and all of that because there has never been a doorbell here, but $800 -- no way. The guy was very nice. He was responsive, punctual and professional.

The had to dig a new pipe to the garage to have a 40amp plug for the juicebox (charger). They did an awesome and super professional job.

Outstanding. Charles and his team are so courteous and go the extra mile. They set up an entire plastic tent to protect the family room from plaster dust while working. They carefully thought through the project with us ahead of time and the result was very attractive. They were so polite and respectful of being in someone's home. The work was prompt, diligent and skillful. In just a few hours we had multiple electrical issues solved and it was evident that these were true expert electricians. They provided me with a certificate of insurance and references immediately. I plan to use Safe Electrical again and would not hesitate to hire them for any size project. They strive to please.

Charles agreed to move up my appointment since I had also made a doctor appointment. He came with two workers so the job could be finished early. Everything went well and was installed as requested.

they found the reason why we had a power outage and even helped us explain to the comed staff the results of his assessment because comed insisted that there was nothing wrong in their end.

It went great . They did a great job,we had alot of work

It was a long day for the guys and they worked very hard. They were fast and efficient and more than willing to answer my million and one questions. Because the work was in preparation for village inspection, they took the time to make sure that everything was done on our list as well as checking to see if we forgot anything else. I passed the inspection!

I was very happy with the outcome. It took only two and a half days. They price was reasonable. He was always on time. He was courteous and respectful. He had given me new light covers that I did not expect. And to top it off, he offered me a payment plan that I could afford (especially with the holidays coming up) that was awesome. After the work was done, months later, I had a concern and he came over right way. Once again, my mind was at ease. I would highly recommend SAFE Electrical for electrical needs.

I called provider on Monday and set up an appointment for him to come to the property the next day between 9am-10am. He said he would call me about 30 minutes before he arrived. He did not show up the next day and to date, I haven't heard from him.

I think they did an excellent job. My tenant was very pleased with it. They were also able to arrange a payment plan with me. They're very friendly people to work with.

We were seeking an electrician to help us with a number of projects, the first of which was to be a replacement of a simple front doorbell witih a new, high-tech, video screening/answering device. We found Safe Electrical Service on Angie's List. We attempted to employ them. From the start, the owner seemed reluctant to come to our home, given the distance (about 12 miles). But, he agreed to service us, and set a date, for several weeks after our call. So, we waited, and made certain that were at home to receive him. They never came, never called to cancel, reschedule, nor to apologize for failing to come or to notify us. Meanwhile, we are left without the new security device being installed. We had wanted the job done before we had a new front door installed that was to have been installed with our new security installation nicely fitted into that door frame. (The storm door service that we have contracted with is located farther away than the electrical company, but seemed to think that our location was no problem. So, we will try to find another electrician to get the job done before the door installers arrive, but time is growing very short. Therefore, we would rate Safe Electrical Service as a complete disappointment, and wonder how Angie's ratings were so far from what we experienced.

Found out original work wasn't done properly. Electrician very professional and knowledgeable. The box on one wasn't sealed well and a wire from original developer was left out. On the other box, something was done incorrectly by previous semi-electrician that caused serious issue today.

I found Safe Electrical on Angie’s List. Based on the recommendations I read, decided to take a chance. The reviewers were right! Charles Otsott and his team installed, and upgraded, lighting around my home. At our first meeting, Charles presented me with four(4) options that would increase lighting and visibility, which was my goal. The front lighting had not been changed in 30 years. My choices were from a very basic changing current lighting to LED, to adding motion sensors with option of “dusk to dawn” on all lighting. The options also ranged in price to very reasonable that would have addressed my basic lighting needs to a couple that were over the top. While I appreciated being able to see the extreme of what was possible, I went a little over mid-price range understanding I wanted the electrical done by a professional, and I will probably not need to have this done for another 30 years. I chose adding “dusk to dawn” and couldn’t be happier. As I have many beautiful trees in my yard, it can be very dark around my home. The dusk to dawn lighting makes it almost like daylight around my home….YEAH! When I look out, I have a clear view, which is what I wanted. The front porch lighting Charles chose is beautiful, and accents my home. As always, I judge not only that you perform the work well, but that you treat my home with respect. A resounding "Yes" on both counts. I would absolutely recommend Safe Electrical.
